  1. Need to confirm with Roger but i'd imagine we'll be having a few pints before we leave central
  2. Looking forward to this day out Roger, it's got a 2004 ish feel to it If George has my bed i'll take your sofa, make sure Sarah gets the toast & Cheese on
  3. I was there yesterday but only because i live in Glasgow, it's not the most attractive of away games so i don't blame the fans back home who didn't make the journey down, bad time of the year and a big cup tie in a fortnight
  4. I was at the game today, we should have scored 4 in the first half before the penalty. Foran was fantastic in the air during the first half & caused Airdrie a few problems. Rooney played ok, Sanchez was poor IMO and Tokely won't be happy with his performance on his 500th appearance. I heard a few digs at Imrie today from some elder gentleman which i thought was out of order, ok he may be arrogant but he ran up and down the right side all day causing Airdrie problems & getting into good areas, he was my man of the match today. Small away crowd today which is expected but Airdrie's home support was tiny, i think the attendance was around 800-850, those other 3 stands haven't been open in years which is a shame as i think it's a tidy ground. Not a great game but happy to get the 3 points :004:
  5. Game is off

    Quick question

That would be a bit difficult given that the ICT 1 Celtic 0 result was on 23RD MARCH 2003. My memory has failed me Charles, well i'm still pretty sure that the game before the Celtic tie was against Clyde and we lost 4-1, maybe those tinks in Cumbernauld had some left over fireworks from the previous November :D

    Quick question

Larsson played the whole match and he was indeed marked out of the game by Caff. I was at the game before the Celtic match, we were away to Clyde on bonfire night, myself and Govan Jaggie spent more time watching the fire works than the game, we got horsed 4-1 with Barry Robson scoring our only goal which was a screamer, Martin O'Neill left at half time when we were 3-0 down, think he had seen enough to think that his team would beat us with no worries :D :) :015:
  8. Same from me, great weekend with good friends. My flight to Poland last night was a quiet one, my poor liver hates away trips to Palmerston but what do livers know :)
  9. I was one of the small band of fans who gave Wilson pelters for doing what he done for us on many occasions by leaving his leg out to bait Foran. I knew every person there and not one of them had an Aberdeen accent! All from Inverness apart from one girl who is from Lerwick. Of course alcohol was to blame for us maybe going over the top a bit but it wasn't planned and we were winding him up more than anything and it worked because Wilson told me after the game that he was devastated and couldn't concentrate on the game which i didn't fully believe :023: At the end of the day the sun goes down and Wilson is still an ICT legend, we only had 50+ fans there on Saturday, had it been in Inverness i think Barry's free pints in Inverness would dry up quickly.
  10. Happy Birthday Mrs Gringo, i'm sure me and the rest of the alcoholics will give her a wee song :011:
  11. Don't think many people are driving from the Glasgow contingent but you could join us on the train at 9:53 from central, we are staying overnight in Dumfries so i'm not sure what time the train leaves after the game.
  12. Ok Roger i'll get you at the station (in the bar?) is there a friend's and family deal for this train?? I'm assuming it's the usual suspects who are going down with us? Are we making this a wet train or holding off on the alcohol until later?
  13. That's my new weekend name Mike, thought you knew :( :( :(
  14. I need to check with Govan Jaggie but i'm sure we are getting the 9:30ish train down to Dumfries on Saturday Who's coming?
  15. I am looking forward to a sheg in ma private room Stephanie. Sharing a room with Johndo...i don't know what i've let myself in for :( :D :D
  16. Looking forward to this game and the night out in Dumfries after it
  17. As Scotty has pointed out a bar that is open 18 times a year wont pay for itself. would a temporary beer tent be covered by the same alcohol license that is issued for the kingsmills suite as licenses arent cheap. Some cafes etc have now stopped selling alcohol, one owner told me that his license has jumped up to ?1,400 for a small coffee shop, so now he doesnt have one. kind of a backward step if you as me as its the government who make all the profit on the sale of booze. I remember being at Falkirk when they still played at Brockville and they had a tent set up where you could go to drink before games Think that's when Falkirk played at Ochilview for a season or two when Budwar were their shirt sponsors, let's get rid of FlyBe and get a brewery to sponsor us :023:
  18. Yeah Munns Vaults is around the corner from Firhill, think i'll make this one.
  19. I'm sure we'll have a can or 3 with us Roger :) Lets hope we get a good turn out at Queen St for 11:45 train. No cranberry beer!! Hahaha i forgot about those tropical days when cranberry beer was on the menu :D :D :D I'll go safe and stick to Budweiser this time mate :)
  20. The 11:45 train from Glasgow should have a decent turnout, lets try and take a carriage for ourselves :)
  21. Get yourself booked into the Govan Hilton, i'm sure your suite will be ready for you sir I've not spoken to GJ about where we are going, the last time we were there did we not meet up in a place near St Johnstone's old ground?
  22. I'm sure we'll have a can or 3 with us Roger :P Lets hope we get a good turn out at Queen St for 11:45 train.
  23. I'm travelling down alone this time Redcard.....................so no "wrong direction train and clubbing in Aberdeen with Junior for you"!! :oops01: Yeah no drunken train journeys to Aberdeen this time mate :D Think we are getting the 11:45 train from Glasgow so if anyone near wants to join us you are more than welcome but beware there will be lots of alcohol consumed on that train :D I will be leaving stirling on the on the 12.15 train getting to perth and boozer with 4 others Thats the train we will be on so come and say hello :D
