  1. That is exactly what happened! !! Oh oh Gary Warren
  2. Yes Robert but we thankfully fluked it and if we go back to Plan A with Draper and Tremarco we could be OK. Perhaps that was the bit of luck that we needed. I have to concede that it was the best feeling at the end of a game fer ages
  3. Possibly reactive but Vigurs gave up today and Anier is the most ineffective forward I have witnessed in years. I have been ejected from grounds for many misdemeanours over the years but I could have taken that two of by the scruffs of their feckin necks, paid the fine and got on with it. Warren is a legend, put 110 % but has to be benched. Raven was 120 % and was possibly the only one that I would have given MOM points to. Although Tansey worked his socks off too and - well poor wee Billy BUT we are still in it
  4. Hold on there people -- report to follow but we got out of jail today - we could have been thrashed - Warren's last touch goal looked offside. 3-5-2 at Fir Hill !! Sorry but Vigurs and Anier should NEVER play again. Foran got it all wrong but Raven was IMMENSE - But Draper and Tremarco back could save us and we go back to attack mode - At the end of the day one point I would have taken at the start and we feckin stole it
  5. Magister quod est vexo, statistic obsessi Smarty Braccae
  6. Down to our indiscipline and stoopid, needless cards That will probably mean that Foran will reinstate Vigurs ICT need all the support that we can muster.
  7. Well I will be there on a Pendolino Away Day, free of the usual Old Filth travellers (on the way back at least). Anybody meeting in town or is it straight to a Partick Bistro of Mary Hill's choice ?!! I would go with the same team that started against Sevco apart from McCart for Warren and hopefully the return of Tremarco for MacKay. And remember the Ides are on the 15th. Anything but a point and a positive performance may see the demise of Mr. Foran - or at least criticism and extreme pressure which can only affect him and the club in general.
  8. Suspect that was a wee bit of over the top sarcasm and frustration ? I would echo RIG's post BUT did we play him when he was NOT 100% fit ?
  9. So who is going to be there - Whos is going to be an ICT "guide dog" minder ? What is the starting X1 ??
  10. Don't worry - Statistically there is a 59% chance that we will score and a 25% chance that we will equalise.
  11. It is a case of taking one game at a time and 100%+ effort. You simply can't look further ahead and think about how many points that we need or what the likely results of other games are. We DEFINITELY can't start thinking about the split or that it will give us a better chance of surviving against the other teams. It really looks like SEVEN teams battling for the last remaining Top Six place or to avoid the two relegation places. EVERY one of the teams has something to play for and will be putting in the same effort as us. I even think that playing St Jones Town or Hearts would be a bonus as their season is basically over - unless it is a 4th place for Europe. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at Firhill.
  12. Mathematically and Statistically = YES ; Realistically and Predictability = NO - next target is 11th and "in touch" before the split.
  13. Statistically, in the short term, we may struggle against Partick but even a point, in the long term may statistically be significantly more promising. Statistics also suggest that, next week, all the other results will go our way.
  14. I cant believe that happened. According to the Soothsayer Statistican this should have been a draw or a Kille win. Still if we improve our performance by 57% we should beat Partick and add to your coupons BIG wins for Hearts and Aberdeen and a dour goalless draw at Dungwall.
  15. Perhaps becos he had ample stamina and energy stored up from earlier
  16. What about Ryan Stevenson on loan from Raith ?
  17. Given our results and our performances this season, then breathing in the fumes of euphoria that filled our lungs after the Hearts and Rangers games - should we not be adhering to the hallowed four who started in those two games ? A problem is that we have two newbies settling in and then we have another couple who have been hit by injury and lacking in match practice and then a sure starter who has lost his mojo and then a recently required full back who has already played in every defensive position but dropped for a loanee and a legend who appears to have found his mojo and finally the player of the season. RAVEN TREMARCO TREMARCO TREMARCO
  18. Says Charlie the Soothsayer Statitician Lets hope that Partick, County and Killie abide by the estimates
  19. I am definitely NOT a Happy Clapper but agree that there is a lot of football to be played. I expected to get beat by Cellic but I was hoping for a better scoreline. Saying that it could have been a lot worse and we certainly shot ourselves in the foot. What is annoying me is that we have had two improved performances. One being a draw on a peat bog in Embra against a side on the decline and a victory over a Sevco side in turmoil at the time. So why is everybody so confident about going on a run when we have only won one game in months. Especially against a vibrant, in-form Partick, a Tinkerville outfit who are Jekyll and Hyde and against Killie who have surprisingly sprung up the league. Three sides who undoubtedly have more confidence than we have and also have impetus to win for differing reasons. I sincerely hope that we can match them in all areas but are there really signs that we are so capable of that ?
  20. You really are such an ersehole If we didn't get that 4 (FOUR) points we would be relegation betting certs. Of course it was the converse - it was season saving and it meant that we had confidence going in to the Cellic game and any type of result would be a huge, huge bonus. I have to concede that I was baffled by your grammar in the second question and chose NOT to respond. Given the other results recently and the fixtures coming up we are in BIG trouble - are you fick or wot ?
  21. To be fair to OFW that was a terrible back pass but there was little bobble and one hell of a sclaff. He was watching Dembele and not the ball. He possibly wasn't expecting that either from OUR kick off. 12 seconds WTF.
  22. Can we BAN the word "If" or references akin to it from henceforth. That could have been 7 or 8. Our defence was suspect throughout. Draper held the line together and without him it may have been 4 at half time. But HONESTLY - IS OFW CARRYING AN INJURY ?
  23. Fraid we now have to face facts that we have to go to the end of the season with what we have got - management and playing staff. I am really, really NOT sure if we are good enuff to stay up. But I will be 100% committed to the cause. I hope that the following will be realism and not wholly negative. As I alluded to in a previous thread we simply had to take points from the last three games. We pinched a point on the peat bog called Tynecastle but look at Hearts since. We caught Rangers rite on cue and deserved it. It was always damage limitation against Cellic. It could have been worse but made a dent in the goal difference. There are not many games in March but Jhesus are they crucial - both in regard to US and the others around but worryingly now above us. Firstly we need Killie to beat Well next Saturday. But our performance and result at Firhill on 11/03/17 may actually "make or break" our season - Away at not a happy hunting ground against one of the "form" teams. If we do not win and other results go against us we are being cast adrift and that is the absolute worst place to be.
