  1. What is the point of playing Henderson and Shaw out wide and keep blasting the ball at Billy !!
  2. Especially now with Delaney with a needless yellow. And can somebody tell me where Hyde is playing ???
  3. Will the Fat Lady be singing cheerily or uttering a lamenting dirge ? The tea leaves suggest we will survive tonight. Onwards and Upwards
  4. In many ways it feels like fans have disconnected from the club. At the end of the day it’s a case of keeping the faith and literally being a diehard. I want ICT to win every game that they play in irrespective of the opposition or where they are playing. I would be at every game if I could be. It feels like diehards are being criticised for their allegiance. You can be justly critical, get rid of your anger and frustration and move on - just like you should with life in feckin general.
  5. I think that we have beaten Celtic before in the Scottish Cup ?? We were huge underdogs at Livingston and that turned out to be a quite positive experience. Falkirk will be difficult and may be strange to be at Hampden following the favourites. And there is doubt as to who we play in the final but how can anyone want to miss that ?!! As for allegiances I concur with the old fool from the hill. My upper arm got pretty feckin itchy at times but my heart pumped Invernessian blood
  6. How the feck are we going to get pished before the kick ofF ??
  7. Well to be honest the reason that I started this topic - and the reason I have been posting after an absence - is that I was disillusioned and TBH totally cheesed off - by the negativity and IMHO a number of unfairly derisive posters who appeared to be more intent in catastrophising and being overly critical and negative. Shure there was a lot to complain about but I could not understand that the injuries this season were not seen as being a major reason for our poor form. No other team in this league would have dealt with the same situation. It gave me great pleasure to witness the rise in the scoring and the positivity in the last few weeks. And did anyone actually believe that we would take three points from Queens Park ?? Well some eejits are still talking about relegation. I sincerely am sticking at a FIVE - as I truly believe that we have an outside chance of making the play offs given our fixture list - and I intend to go to Morton and to Hamilton (away). We have been away behind before and made up the ground. I dont think that we will get promoted but we have to keep up the momentum for the Cup. And as for the sanctimonious amongst us - I wish I could start a podcast revealing the rumours that I have heard - I evidently cant - BUT wholly agree that the club needs a clear out and a managerial reconstruction. There may be individuals retained which I do not agree with but individuals given more creedence and influence plus financial support from a - lets say previously rumoured source. At the end of the day I am a feckin diehard and my season will be saved by two trips to Hampden and a play off or close to play off place ending. OK the negative may be that I have little confidence in the tactics during the league fixtures and the unbelievable, continuing lack of communication with the fan base.
  8. Perhaps we have actually been spoilt over the years and playing in a major semi final no longer holds any real sense of achievement, expectation or perhaps even passion. Perhaps it is about being the favourites and not playing against a more illustrious club. Perhaps many may be anticipating a win and saving up for a bigger day out playing one side of the Old Filth. Unfortunately in the current climate the obstacles of finances, travel and TV coverage also take its toll and the game may well have been better attended if it had been played at Easter Road or Tynecastle. My sense is that this is another unforgettable and unmissable episode in the history of ICT and Inverness football. So I am going to strive to be there and look forward to meeting up with the fortunate and the rich elements of our support
  9. Thank you for your response- I will record the statistic in the sanctimonious section
  10. Great to have you back Charles, especially as you are still biting
  11. Tomorrow is as difficult a match as we have had in some time. Unfortunately it is a must win for the play offs. I fear that there may be a backlash due to our recent performances and results. Personally I would be satisfied with a draw. Anything better would be the biggest confidence booster in a long time. Lets make sure that when we wash Incey Wincey spider down the spout that we plug it.
  12. will need to close after tomorrow's game. Would appreciate you all posting your initial score, your end score and your reasoning for the decrease or increase.
  13. This can only mean one thing - February 8th's computer has been interfered with by the spirit world
  14. Sponsored ICT Kiltwalk to Hampden ??
  15. LOL - who would have believed the posts in the last few days prior to this weekend- well apart from a Seer
  16. Sorry I was caught up in a Seer moment at the time of posting
  17. With the crowd problems at the last game the polis will push for the Saturday for the Old Firm
  18. Colin Hendry effectively fixes a Rangers v ICT Cup Final
  19. Or "Wont you stay - just a little bit longer" by Jackson Browne ?
  20. Now that is a post that hits the nail right through the MDF.
