You lot cant see the wood fer the trees. Of course we miss Niculae at home - but we could do with a Bingham, a Ritchie or even a Bayne up front !!

FRASER :015: :D He didnt really do anything wrong and blameless fer the goals. ROSSCOE :P :021: :D :D Typical Rosscoe display - solid at the back and always trying to get forward - I felt that he did sell himself fer the first goal though. GRANTY :D :D :D Again - seldom tested. MAGUIRE :D :D :D As Munro - still think that he could have cut out the cross fer the first goal. DUFF :D :D :D :D Did he not look the part when he came on ? HASTINGS :D :D :003: Some may say it was jet lag but does he travel across the Atlantic every feckin week. Woeful fer the second goal and hasnt got much of a clue when he goes over the half way line. IMRIE :D :D :D :D Sneaked my MOM. Excellent first half, faded mid way through the second fer 10-15 minutes but got a second win. Brilliant free kick - looked a lot more comfortable on the left. Went asleep fer the first goal. BLACK :D :D He just looked frustrated from the off. Just couldnt get into the game and showed his frustration and should really have walked. But he comes back out and looks the part again, looks calmer and then he is hooked !! DUNCAN :D :D :D :D Good to have ya back. Enuff said MCBAIN :thumb04: :018: ;) Sorry but Brew has to simply drop him - enuff of the favouritism - if we had Vigurs on from the start it may have been a different tale. COWIE :D :D :D :D Just like the old Don fer the first 45 but the goal changed it completely. He had to drop back and was in no mans land fer 15 minutes - then he had to withdraw into a deep midfield position - that was a very poor decision tactically. WOOD :D :D That was fer the goal. He missed an absolute sitter which could have changed the whole game - he did the same at Falkirk but we survived - he simply isnt ready yet but he has potential. WILSON :003: :003: Wish he had come on five years younger !! ROONEY :003: :003: :003: Put himself about more than Wood. Brew simply has to jettison Hastings - try McBain at full back fer fecks sake - bring back Vigurs and stop treating Wood like he used to use Rory - and fecked him up. Gawd do we need a centre forward and a pacy front runner or what ? Basically - Cellic were there fer the taking.

Brew does summat I agree wiv !! Wilson fer McBain fer the last 15. Cowie in the central mid.

Well **** me - Cellic are copying our defence !! Rooney nods and Wood knocks it in - it may have been off Boruc but he did take it well - he looks deadly from 3 yards.d

ICT -V- Celtic : matchday thread
Should have been 3-0 - Hastings missing in action again.
-
ICT -V- Celtic : matchday thread
Hastings should be feckin shot and look at our feckin defence - practically all in the six yard box - ball watching. And now Brew hooks Black and puts on Rooney - MISTAKE.

ICT -V- Celtic : matchday thread
Different game now - far more stretched - Cellic have upped the pace and going fer the killer - Hold out fer 10 minutes and bring on Rooney and Vigurs/Wilson.

ICT -V- Celtic : matchday thread
That was disgraceful as we totally switched off defensively - we should have expected Cellic to come firing out of the traps. Rosscoe shouldnt have sold himself, Imrie switched off and I thought Maguire should have cut out the cross. Looks like Maguire is well fecked and being stretchered off. On comes Duff. And Andy Murray wins the second set to level Federer - go on my son.

This has had the look of a 0-0 rite from the off. Although Gary Wood could have - no should have - cancelled that prediction. We have two teams with little up front and cancelling themselves out in midfield. But we are the better team at half time but we have to change tactically. The positives are that we are working our socks off, pressing all the time and holding a high line - the only way Cellic look like scoring is from a set piece or through Maloney - but to be honest the same can be said fer us but insert Cowie. Tokely is sticking to his full back spot and doing very well, Munro and Maguire have strolled through the game, Hastings has not got a feckin clue going forward and I hope Strachan doesnt play McGeady as he has done with Maloney. Imrie is having a cracker, working hard, sharp passing, running at men and giving Rosscoe a lot of support and only a great Boruc save stopped him scoring a 25 yard cracker of a free kick, Duncan is back to where he belongs - Black should have clearly had two yellow cards and shouldnt be on the park - he appears to be having one of his brainstorming days - I wouldnt be surprised if Brew hooks him - McBain is invisible - get Vigurson and let him run at Loovens - who looks really shaky but not being tested. Cowie is back at his best - he is taking Naylot and Crosas to the feckin cleaners and they are clearly worried by his pace - if only he had some support. May be harsh but Wood is totally out of his league and his miss was a feckin sitter. So I would hook Black as he is on the edge - and take McBain into the middle - bring on Vigurs and let him run at Loovens. I would hook Wood in 10-15 minutes and take on Rooney. If the game keeps going as it is I would love to hook McBain late on and see what Wilson could do on the right and push Cowie forward.

I am reliably informed that this is a feckin "joke" from a footballing perspective but he is an attractive looking lad.

Funnily enuff I used to love walking around the streets in the 70's - of course the casuals came around in the 80's and that was the beginning of organisation. Most of the decent battles were in the 70's when it was a case of the skinhead or the bovver boy culture. There was far more "violence" when you could walk down the street and on to the terrace with a feckin carry oot and throw yer empties at the opposition. In those days ya didnt talk to each other on mobiles or make arrangements - if ya wanted a scrap you knew exactly where to go for it or wait for it - but you made sure that you had as much feckin boys behind you before ya did it. And I mean before, during or after a game. Plus the cops usually let ya get on with it.

January Transfer Window.
Why the **** are we even discussing this - we may not have any money to spend and we always make a pigs feckin ear of it - only hope is that we have a new manager who is given some money to spend.

The Season So Far
We shpuld ave ammered Falkirk and we should have ammered the Jam Tarts - I thought that we should have picked up a lot more points at home - The one thing that hasnt surprised me is Brewster's arrogance and his tactical mistakes. It is actually even more worrying that he has changed his tact and is almost succumbing to public pressure. If we had a half decent manager we would be up at the top in a season where the standards have really fallen.

I am a part timer and proud of it. I have even travelled many miles to home games and I was happy just to witness a small part of the proceedings before departing. The credit crunch is hitting us all. And why travel all the distance when it is on Setanta. Personally I have always felt that there was a lack of wummin at the games - but they are probably scared off by all the gorgeous burds we have already.

The Silence is Deafening
It is interesting that we have not had a surge of posts about the negatives at Tannadice - well done to absent friend as this is a good debate to have. Maguire has been a good defender fer 90-95% of his games. Duff is evidently the popular local replacement. It looks like that experience is the main things that separate them. My feelings are: Maguire has never, at a gut feeling to me, ever appeared to really gel into this team; Maguire has never really appeared to gel in to any type of partnership with Munro - whatever the reason; Maguire is prone to the odd mistake in every game which has cost us goals and points; Maguire is however experienced and appeared to help Duff through the early games; Maguire is a real threat at attacking set pieces; Depend what you want but Maguire would be a really useful full back and cover fer central defence. Duff is another local lad come true; He may be as loyal as munro and IMHO has more potential; Munro and Duff may be the local hero dream. Basically we NEED a really experienced central defender Comments -
