  1. Thats more like it :020:
  2. Robbo saying he is surprised that we were playing 1 up front at home he is not the only one
  3. what a terrible start,
  4. Is Barrowman injured or just so far out of favour he cant even make the bench now
  5. Yes agree, at least he is direct
  6. I fail to see how people automatically think Barry will become a great manager, better players than him have failed at the managing lark,
  7. Golly didn't have a great game on Sunday but he needs to get some games under his belt before he can be judged
  8. I must admit I was a bit surprised/concerned when I heard that Butcher was away with Scotland squad for 3 days this week, particulary as Scotland only have a friendly coming up and we have a crucial game on Saturday
  9. To me one the saddest thing of the lot is that one of the advantages we could take from dropping down from the SPL would be the crack in the SFL, from this thread its apparent even thats not there anymore
  10. I was watching soccer am today and they had a picture of some army regiment with about 6 United fans on top of a tank in somewhere that looked like the Middle East with a big flag with "The Arabs" on it, brilliant
  11. Sounds like you've got some inside info here, Stevie... Do you know for a fact that Nick Ross won't be on from the start? If that's the case I probably won't be going. Duncan and Bulvitis both had nightmares last week. Just what I heard Johnboy normally very reliable but wouldn't take it as a def
  12. Don't know exact positions but line up will be Esson, Proctor, Bulvitus, Munro,Golaback, Duncan, Hayes, Cox , Sanchez, Eagles, Foran, and will be playing 4-1-4-1

    A New Song

Im going to start the last one on Sunday! I'll listen out for that on sunday to see if you do it If he remembered it that would be a major achievement never mind signing it
  16. In Romania the word for gypsy is tigani pronounced "teegany" irrelevant I know but just thought I would let you know
  17. For me the jury is out on Mr Butcher because of his signing and tactics, not because he is doing a bit of TV work. Lets be honest if Levin (in my opinion the best manager in Scotland) was our Manager none of us would be bothered if he was on TV every week.
  18. :( :D This is generally true. Also nb that the Scottish traveller hates to be associated and confused with the Roma, ie gypsies, branding them as crooked, dirty and unreliable. AFAIK the correct name for those itinerant folk is "gypsy travellers" as specified by the Scottish government. I fully understand the discussion about their being Scotland's forgotten other. BUT and this backs up Scotties comments about context, if travelling folk are correctly called "gypsies", how the hell can it be an insult? We know that RC supporters are not, on the whole gypsies, so any usage is metaphorical. Also any connections between Romania and Roma are spurious. Roma trace their origins to India, according to latest thinking, and the word, gypsy, is an adaptation of Egyptian, where it was once thought they came from. Scottish travellers, btw, have a fascinating history too, not least in the USA, where they are, or were, early C20, the byword for cheating and meanness. All very confusing and interesting, but heavy handedness does nothing to clear it up. Having lived on Romania for a number of years and had a look at where the gypsys originated from your account above is exactly how I read it.
  19. :( :D
  20. Thats correct, Wenger tried to get him to Arsenal but he already had an agreement to join AC Milan from Sporting at the end of season but did his cruciate ligament and deal fell through
  21. Kev was only as us old ones wouldn't want to hold the young un's back.
  22. When you get to near 40 yrs old, and your metabolism has slowed down etc etc...you will understand why you only want OAPS playing :002: Exactly the other stipulation could be very unfit under 30s as well
  23. Would love to get some 5 a side for the over 30s or in my case over 40s in Inverness, if anyone is up for it give me a shout and we can see if we can get anything organised
  24. Aparrently invites are already selling on ebay for $70, crazy
  25. The club need all the support and finances it can get at present, far better idea to take any problems to the supporters trust who will then discuss with the club.
