  1. Thank you I will pass on your regards, I know this will get shot down by a few in here but Marius really loved his time here and will nevr forget the support he got from the ICT fans who he feels played a huge part in helping him realise his dream of playing in the Euros, anyway once things settle down Marius will be making a statement to this effect He will not be making his debut tom more likely next week
  2. Yes Kaiserslautern is in Germany but second division and just avoided relegation to the 3rd last season
  3. exactly
  4. Tom yes up until he joined Dinamo Marius said that he would prefer England or Germany, although Dinamo were his first team and the team he supported as a boy he felt that the old adage of never go back and also the pressure of expection as he is so highly thought of there. however I think the draw of both European Football and the draw of going back proved to much. If I am been honest I also think there wasnt any other serious bids from teams that he would have considered
  5. In fact correc me if I am wrong as I was only told this second hand but apparently Marius's agents were actually on MFR saying that they had not negotiated Marius's personel terms with Dinamo as he had done this himself, whether they are due a cut from this I have no idea as that is between Marius and his agent
  6. No problem in clarifiying this Marius has an agent in Germany that deals with Marius's transfer dealings he actually attended a couple of ICT games last season , however on this occassion Marius decided to negotiate his own contract terms with Dinamo, I can assure you that I took no part in his transfer negotiations, my involvement to date has been attending one meeting with the club as a witness for Marius and helping him in recovering monies owed, further to this I have had no further involvement. So from what you would gather then the lawyers that Marius has appointed to deal with this matter will also be to all intent and purposes his agents as well.
  7. IHE please be very, very careful an opion on the matter either way is one thing but I will not put up with incorrect slanderous statements against me, off that I can assure you
  8. Yngwie, both myself and Marius will be open and honest as we have been from day one and will be until this matter is resolved.
  9. I answered you question, as this now going to be decided by legal bodies it would be wrong for me to go into process of answering questions all day, I will not be answering any further questions and we will just have to wait until the legal proceedings and they can decide who is right and who is wrong
  10. the club accepted a bid of 500k Euros from Dinamo Marius did not verbally agree to waive his cut of this fee, what speaks volumes to me is that the club admitted in the press that Marius was due his cut of this fee
  11. Just incase anyone needs reminding http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.a...57085?UserKey=0
  12. Yes Alex and it is now up to the governing bodies to decide who that is
  13. Steve Cairns Statement Just to clarify a number of things that have been reported within the media in the last few weeks regarding the money owed to Marius Niculae from Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Marius Niculae is owed 100k Euros as the second part of his signing on fee with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, this is now overdue. This 100k was part of the original signing on fee agreed by both parties at the time of Marius signing with Inverness Caledonian Thistle; however Marius agreed to delay the payment of this part of the fee until July 2008 to assist with the cash flow of Inverness Caledonian Thistle. It is clearly stated that Marius Niculae as per the terms and conditions of his contract with Inverness Caledonian Thistle is due 30% of the transfer fee received by Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the event of the sale of the player. It has also been reported that I am Marius Niculaes agent, this is not the case and I have never stated this. I am a friend of Marius Niculae that has been asked by Marius to assist him and help him recover what is rightfully his. I was also asked by Marius Niculae to attend the meeting held on the 19th of July as a witness; this meeting was also attended by George Fraser and Graeme Bennet. At this meeting the representatives of Inverness gave Marius permission to go to discuss terms with Dinamo Bucharest, not as previously reported to go home to Romania sort out personnel business. At no time did Marius Niculae request a transfer from Inverness Caledonian Thistle; in fact the club accepted a bid from Kaiserlautern for Marius Niculae before the player was aware of it. Marius Niculae is somewhat confused as to why the club first stated in the press the deal was a straight one and he was due a percentage of it, progressing on to, he has to sign a waiver saying the club do not have to pay him any money. This leads to the current position with Inverness Caledonian Thistle stating they do not owe Marius Niculae any money. If this was the case why did Inverness Caledonian make these previous statements? Marius Niculae has it stated clearly in his contract that he is due this money and upon taking legal advice will now be reporting the matter to UEFA and will pursue what is rightly his. Steve Cairns
  14. Lost count of how many changes were made by each side tonight, it is a case of getting the team fit at this stage of the season. most of the players have played 1 or 2 games since they came back from the summer break, no judgement can be made this soon
  15. ok, but a pointless poll then
  16. I think the poll would be a lot more relevant is the figure was ?500,000 as opposed to a million as I think this is the amount received will be a lot closer to this figure
  17. correct news ,but wrong clubs :029:
  18. correct Marius does not arrive in Scotland until later tonight
  19. Over in zurich waiting for game to start great atmosphere great weather huge romanian support come on roman ia
  20. I leave tomorrow for the Euros, proud first of all because I introduced Marius to Inverness, then my friend has a chance to play in Euros yes, but mostly I am proud as we have a player in Euros who is proud to represent ICT , Hai Romania
  21. thanks alex but its not my role
  22. that was what I initially thought but it is from 1st day Romania arrived at euros so 3k every day since then
  23. marius no longer favourite to start with press in Romania with Daniel Niculae now favourite, apparently after studying videos of the last French match they feel Daniel may be a better option
  24. Is someone a wee bit bitter that their prediction that the Russian game would be Marius swansong and he had no chance of making the euros :004: :004:
