  1. You're right Charles, the only commentary that ever existed was added for the highlights. As I understand it from speaking to various people you are right about the radio, it was not a featured match and only became such when someone at the BBC realised what was happening at Celtic Park and they switched there for the second 45.
  2. The DVD footage is being produced (professionally) from the original rushes (tapes) which were supplied to us by the BBC.
  3. Yup, they were both on the park at the end of that game....I have video evidence ;) Anyway, getting off topic.
  4. I'm sure that the transfer was sanctioned by the majority shareholders in terms of value. It just didn't deem to be what the majority in terms of numbers expected. Junior, Doug McGillvray was still charman at the time of our great Parkhead exploit and for some time thereafter. Depends which "records" you check. Some even suggest they both held a chairman position at the time....one being "Chairman" the other "Chairman of football"
  5. As the shares are not publicly traded they have no real market value and are only worth whatever you can get for them. And if you're looking to sell it would be tough to find a buyer because anyone interested in buying shares is likely to want to invest in the club, and it would make more sense to purchase some of the shares still available than buy from someone else. When you buy shares in a football club you are effectively purchasing a voting right and not much else.
  6. There's one flaw in your logic 12th Man....you're assuming none of our squad will sign pre-contracts in the next 3 months to secure their future if that security can't/isn't being offered at ICT. So even if by some miracle we won the league many could well be heading off anyway.
  7. If you got an e.mail confirming your order then it's registered on the system.
  8. Will be mid March and we'll let people know when we start distributing them.
  9. Anyone who wants to quote my posts from other threads in here is welcome to do so. I simply don't have the time to get involved in another protracted discussion ahead of this weekends events.
  10. We will, of course, need to do a search to ensure TheKarl has never expressed an opinion on this forum we don't like before firming up the offer :tonguecheek:
  11. I really don't want to turn this into a "stadium ownership" thread/issue but what changed my mind was an underlying niggle that it all seemed to good to be true.....an instinct honed by years as a compliance auditor within financial services industry where it was my job to follow up on these things and unearth the truth.....so I took my own advice (from the end of that thread), registered with companies house and started looking in to it and the circumstances surrounding it.
  12. Simple answer.....I don't know. The best I can do is post a heads up if/when we start getting close to selling out.
  13. There's no quote from Darren in the article....in fact the comments are simply attributed to a "club spokesman"....typical of the faceless corporation that ICT has become and the root of many of the issues that arise, IMO. The comments from the club confirm what I have said....I refused a gagging order and suffered the consequences. It's there in back and white for everyone to see and there's no denial or counter argument offered for anything I have said. If people want to start pulling employment law issues to defend the club over the matter then you have to accept that those rights apply to me as well as the club and due process should have been followed...and it wasn't. Again I emphasise it's not the WHAT but the HOW that is so disappointing. It could be argued that the club were trying to deny me my legal entitlement to Freedom of Expression and unless they believed that I was passing on confidential information obtained whilst undertaking my duties as a club servant then they do not have that right. I can be accused of many things, but poor professional standards is not one of them. If that wasn't the case then I would be listing off a whole plethora of things that I had been told/witnessed while performing my announcers duties. Any comments or opinions I have expressed regarding the clubs financial situation or the stadium ownership issue have come from information that was/is in the public domain. What annoys me about the board? The fact that you are their best friend when they want something from you and cast aside regardless of consequences to the club when you refuse to tow the line. It's not the first time this has happened to me (and others) with ICT and maybe I'm the fool and can have little complaint because I keep going back for more....but keep going back I will.
  14. It's all a bit exciting for those of us behind putting it together as well. We've all had teasers about the different aspects of it, seen bits of the footage etc but not it all together and we won't see it all together until shortly before everyone else when we have to sign off on the final copy. The special commentary is, by all accounts, absolutely amazing....I've not heard it yet, but those involved in that part say it's streets ahead of what they had hoped for/expected.
  15. We were told Marius asked to leave as well and that one has come back to haunt us big time....just hope lessons were learned and the same thing doesn't happen again!!!
  16. The old ones are the best
  17. Sanchez to Hearts ...never saw that one coming.
  18. Don't worry, he checks every 15 minutes for info on the DVD so am sure he'll be fine.
  19. I hope we don't sell out before Mahonio gets back online.....he'll never forgive me
  20. Yeah....that's what we're restricted too under the rights we had to purchase.
  21. Post & Packaging cost Worldwide is the same at ?1.50
  22. Please don't take the fact that I appreciate the clubs rights as being any kind of acceptance of the situation. The only reason I've not given any opinion and stuck to the facts when answering is because I'm stuck somewhere between anger and disappointment in regards to the whole thing (both with myself and the club). Should I have accepted the gagging order in order to allow me to continue as the announcer and work on getting the online video highlights project off the ground and all the other things I was doing and working towards? That's the question I am wrestling with at the moment....although it's irrelevant now as what's done is done. However, I feel like my refusal to accept it means that it's the fans who will lose out because I see little motivation or ability within the club to make these other things happen....and for that I apologise.
  23. Birdog, I have (twice) acknowledged the clubs rights in this matter and not once have I mentioned, suggested or encouraged any kind of fan revolt. If this situation causes the club any problems at this "critical" time in the season then that is of their own making....I didn't go in and ask that they remove me now because it suited whatever agenda you think I might have. I have made no assertion or accusation regarding what the clubs actions may or may not tell people about the larger picture. A question was asked and I have answered it.
  24. It always amazes me when teams who are due to meet all of a sudden seem to be interested in the same player. Tactics to try and delay them signing for the other team before the game do you think???
