Our Medical Team
Dargo and Niculae stand out as the two biggest "successes" at ICT in terms of avoiding recurring injuries and we've had one or two others who seem to have come back from injury quicker than expected so their could be something we do here that benefits players in that regard. From memory any players we've had out long term have been those requiring medical intervention to aid the recovery process or injuries that are beyond repair/recovery from time and training alone.

For "Innes Bar Bus Crew" read "CaleyThistleOnline" as that's who I said I was when I phoned earlier.

We don't need a new Striker?
Had we not been in the position we are in then I would say that there's an argument for not breaking our backs to get a striker if we could stem the flow at the other end. However, that kind of mindset lends itself to "draws being enough" by way of low scoring games and I don't think we can afford to go into the second half of the season with that mentality. We need to start winning against those immediately above us and looking to secure (at least) draws against those further up the table if we are to get out of the mess we're in. To do that we need to be putting the ball in the back of the opposition net AND stemming the flow into our own net.

Define "experienced"?
As I've said before.....I believe Andy Barrowman is on a wage which is closely comparable with what Niculae was getting, so if you buy into us having a wage structure that was broken my him then it is still being broken.

2 certain ICT players
You might get a certain amount of success if you replaced the stylus with an appropriate read head!!! Agree to a certain extent, and it all comes back to something I said a while back.....we're trying to fit players into a system instead of looking at a system to fit the players.

Team for Hamilton
Disagree about Duncan being a burden in midfield, although I would say that there's no room for both he and Black in a 4 man midfield.

Define "experienced"?
Scotty, I think it could be described as "setting yourself up for a fall" and/or "making empty promises" It was Brewster and the Board who told us they would be making substantial investment and bringing in experience, so they can hardly complain when people ask where it is!!!
-
Define "experienced"?
My opinion is that it will be defined by the Board of Directors as fitting whoever they sign/have signed.

Elvis
Think the continued presence of Brewster probably had more to do with it....not that Pressley would not work under him, but that the sweetener to bring him North was the thought of a chance to get into a new management team. Anyone, Elvis is dead, time to move on.

New signings, contracts.
Sure I saw something somewhere (certainly in reference to the boys that came from Hibs) that if they performed over the coming weeks then deals would be extended. I don't necessarily agree with the path we've chosen, but as it's the one we're heading down then the short term deals do offer us the best "protection" if/when it comes to damage limitation further down the line. I also think that it shows signs that the Board aren't necessarily as confident in Brewster's ability to turn things around and avoid relegation as they might have been saying.

Were you watching Brew?
1. No, not unless you subscribe to the mindset that only people who go to games are supporters. 2. As I said, they are not "innocent", but they are not the source of the problem (IMO). Also don't think that just because someone might be critical of performance means they are not supportive of the team. 3. Which I agreed with.

So, as it stands...
I too would add myself to the list of those who really thought Rory would come good, but I doubt anyone would deny that he's had more than ample opportunity. Whether it's down to some psychological block, ICT just not being the right club or the fact he's just not capable at SPL level is anyone's guess. Given his proficiency in the reserves I doubt he'll be short of offers from lower league teams.

Were you watching Brew?
The only people who can, IMO, be blamed of wavering support of the team are those who have demonstrated blind faith in Brewster and have been pointing the finger of blame at the players. Not saying players are entirely innocent, but they are not the source of the problem. Others might try and spin the opinions of those who want Brewster out as being indicative of lack of support for the team, but I think that point has been clearly dismissed on several occasions....the support at the Aberdeen Game when people where noisier and giving out more positive vibes than has been witnessed at TCS all season, only overcome by Brewsters inability to stem the flow and we witnessed the third goal going in, and the decision from the Trust meeting where, despite differing views on "the solution", everyone wanted to include a message of support for the team in the statement that was issued. A lot of people have had to do a lot of soul searching this season and one question that constantly seems to have come up is "How much support can people give the team in the knowledge that their input (financial and otherwise) is supporting aspects of the club which they are strongly against?". The point along that line where things change for people will differ depending on who you ask, but I'd happily bet that the vast majority of fans have asked themselves the question at some point this season. As to the increased "support" this weekend, I don't think it represents any "groundswell" of support for the team. That support has always been there, it's just that various things have come together to allow and encourage people to attend the match...be that the reduced ticket price and free buses which make it more affordable or the statement from the Trust meeting that encouraged everyone to get behind the team. And, getting back to the original point of the thread....ICT have achieved some remarkable things in their short history, but I wouldn't like to push our luck by trying to test if that extends to the ability to bounce straight back up to the SPL following relegation. Don't think there's too many people who underestimate just how tough that would be.

Team for Hamilton
I think Mike had a couple of "loose" games before he found himself replaced by Esson, and so far Esson hasn't done anything which immediately springs to mind to justify him losing his place to Fraser again. As I've said elsewhere, I think we're fortune to have 2 very capable keepers, and Fraser will get his chance again. When he does, it's then up to him to make sure he keeps Esson out.

You can guarantee there'll be a good few of us from the south in carloads and off the train, but can anybody say if any buses are coming? The official supporters buses usually stop farther up the road for a break. Minibus is definitely going there...17(ish) of us. I'll be phoning Chambers tomorrow to let them know about us, and I defy any hangers on to try and get between me and the buffet

Sorry, can I just check - is our end ticketed? I was intending just paying at the gate. All communication we've had so far has been that it's Pay at the Gate. it cant be as bad as dundee utd, they told us we wernt allowed to put r feet on the the seats.. Why would them objecting to you putting your feet on the seats be so confusing? You're suppose to sit on them, not stand on them.

Not sure if something like this is allowed/possible/practical/financially restrictive etc, but it kinda breaks with the norm a bit and could never be mistaken for any other team. If not as an official kit, it could perhaps be used on shirts for merchandising purposes only.

Yeah....sure I saw something on P&B recently where the fans thought he should be offloaded.

The seats in the Hamilton Temp stand are much the same as those in our North and South Stands....it's just we have a larger stand with a better quality cover/roof.

Here's an attempt at including blue, and keeping away from the "Rangers" look. The blue is intended to be faded as opposed to a lighter blue.

Couple of ideas based on the suggestions of using Black instead of Blue to differentiate us from Rangers.
