  1. If this poll is accurate then the level of support for Brewster has dropped from about 20% to just over 5% in the last 10 days or so. Or looking at it another way and comparing it another poll on the site.... Although about 15% of people may not be in favour of him being sacked, only 5% would not rather have someone else!!!
  2. OMG....They are they Borg....we can't win.....Resistance is Futile
  3. Those (9) in my signature are part of the CTO Shop, the other shop is my own personal effort and not connected to the site in any way.
  4. One step ahead of you - http://bigdon.spreadshirt.net/en/GB/Shop
  5. You have to be joking. This site is jam packed full of people slagging off Brewster at every opportunity and for every reason. Just about every thread denigrates into Brewster slagging. Some of the criticism is justified. Some of it is unfair. And some of it is plain abuse and utterly ridiculous. If pointing out some of this is "having a go", then 'heat', 'kitchen' and 'out of' spring to mind. I'm dead serious. You can continue to have a go at me and others for having a view, or you can offer an alternative view. You accuse me and others of only posting because we are anti-brewster, at the moment your stance shows nothing more than having a go because your anti-"insert whichever username here". In short, the position your taking gives you very little credibility IMO.
  6. Am I allowed to play?
  7. As I pointed out elsewhere....I'm not Anti-Brewster, I'm Pro-ICT and want what is best for the club. How about you try making/arguing a case for keeping Brewster here instead of focusing on those who see things differently and having a go at them.
  8. Armchair Critics or not...many have, and continue to be, proven correct.
  9. We could just use the one that has Brewster believing that fault lies with everyone but him.

Please keep in mind that Avatars and Signatures carry the same rules as the rest of the forum in terms of what is and is not allowed.

Avatars as mentioned earlier. The club do read these forums, and the Avatar is an opportunity to display your displeasure without necessarily having to post about it all the time.

Not at all SMEE, just because everyone isn't shouting about it on the forum does not mean nothing is being done.

A few people now have e.mailed the club to let feelings be known. Keep them coming and if you know of fans who maybe don't visit the forums let them know too. I can't guarantee they're listening, but the more people who send e.mails and letters the less of a "they didn't contact us directly" argument the club can lay against the fans.

The following is taken from the National Club Licensing Manual. Section 9 - Code of Practice Criteria 9.3.1 Requirement 8 - Supporter Contact That the club will respond to any reasonable contact from a supporter within seven days, by the most appropriate method, unless under extreme circumstances which renders the club unable to respond.
  15. Think I read somewhere that McGuire had only returned to light training at the start of the week.... So fit? Maybe...Match fit? Very unlikely.

It's in the club licensing manual, a document the club are suppose to comply with in order to maintain their license. I'll dig out the appropriate documents in due course.

The club have a regulatory responsibility to acknowledge and reply to all concerns received by letter/e.mail. They do not have the option of ignoring individual correspondence and they perhaps might take a bit more notice if they have to sit and reply to everyone on that basis. There's also the fact that although we might all be seeking a similar outcome, our views and feelings as to what has brought that about may differ. I really think it is best if everyone puts over their own personal feelings, and even if you wish to do that in a single paragraph or sentence then you should do it all the same.

I'd stay away from the expletives, not because I don't share the views, but because the moment you swear you can be ejected from the stadium. As counter productive as it might seem for the club to do such a thing when fans are simply making their feelings known, I would not for one second put it beyond them to go with this kind of approach on Saturday. If you do intend to use expletives (and that's your personal choice), then it's perhaps not wise to be posting your intentions on a public forum which is viewed by everyone....including the club.
  19. Vengeance against who? The very people who are now agreeing with you? It's hard enough trying to convince those who disagree without getting up the noses of those who are on the same side. I'd suggest you take some of your own advice and channel that energy into the cause instead of at those who are essentially fighting the same fight as you are. I mean that in the most respectful manner.

I urge everyone who is not currently happy with anything going on at ICT at the moment to write or e.mail the club to make your feelings known. Keep the letter/e.mails simple by stating your dissatisfaction and asking that the club take your views on board along with the views of the many others who share them. I know how these things work and if people try to go in to too much detail/depth then it only gives the club an excuse to pick holes and ignore the real issues. I would also suggest that you copy the Supporters Trust in to your communications and if you want then you can also copy in myself so that we can keep track of how many e.mails are going to the club (not that I don't trust them to acknowledge everyone) Club - [email protected] Supporters Trust - [email protected] Me - [email protected] Use the Subject Line to mark your communication for the attention of the Board of Directors. Again, please keep your communications simple and, although emotions are running high, please try and keep them civil.
  21. I think your being totally unfair to those who, when Brewster was re-appointed, decided to get behind the team/manager at the time. If you go back just a little further you'll see that those very same people were doing their utmost to make the club see that Brewster was far from being the fans choice. They were the ones who turned up at the meeting with the club to try and put across the fans point of view and concerns, who did all that they could to try and stop it. However, unfortunate as it may be, the decision was made to re-appoint Brewster and all the shouting and stamping of feet in the world was never going to change anything. The best option, at that time, was for us to get behind the club and try and make it work.....unfortunately it hasn't, but the majority of users on here are aware of that and are, once again, trying to stand up and be heard.
  22. It's gone beyond playing the "Blame Game" - I'm at a stage where I don't really give two hoots who is to blame, I'm more concerned with who's going to step up to the plate and make the decisions and changes that will start to get this club, OUR club back on track.
  23. Seems the only excuse people have for not choosing Robbo is the fact he's been at the club before. As I said elsewhere, whilst his previous time here should not make him a shoe-in for being offered the job, I also don't think it should be the case that it automatically excludes him. Granted, if his time here previously had been a total flop, or he'd gone on to be a flop in subsequent posts then I could understand it....but that's not the case. If/When it comes time to appoint a new manager I would like ALL options to be fully explored and the best person appointed. I don't imagine we'll be overrun with experienced candidates so it seems a bit stupid that people want to be excluding options so flippantly, and doing so on the simple basis that they've been here before.

Chill out Birdog, had I been in any way serious I would have just removed your above post to begin with. It was intended as TiC, hence my flippant response to your first rant. Since we weren't using the current forum software back then, it wasn't possible for you to have had a topic ban (wasn't an option on previous software). You tried to push my buttons with your opening post and hinting at a topic which is banned from discussion and I was merely returning the favour.
  25. I was just thinking the same Mantis.....on wondering why it might be quiet I pictured Brewster looking out his window to see an angry mob with flaming torches and pitch forks baring down on him.
