Brewster acknowledges the fans at last.
Not a chance Brewster, sorry. You've had your time and your chances and you're not producing the goods so time to go. I'm fed up with the negative football, the negative attitudes and the constant....well, I was going to say mistakes, but I think it's gone way beyond that and into a situation where I think your so far detached from the fans and the squad that there's no way back, even if people were to accept a stay of execution. I'm fed up of hearing every week that we all need to stick together, that you know what needs to be done, yet witnessing nothing which demonstrates even a hint of improvement or getting us out of this situation. I'm fed up of the fact you don't shoulder any blame and constantly point the finger elsewhere. Since this club was formed we've constantly had to battle the fact that the fans of many other teams looked down their noses at us. We had earned a certain respect in Scottish Football through hard work and a never say die attitude, a respect which was bolstered by the fact we never bought our way through the leagues and got where we are by grafting for it. In the last year you have managed to undo much of what this club has achieved since it's creation in 1994 and that's just not acceptable in my book. I for one will not let up until you are removed from your position as ICT Manager and if you want to retain what little respect may remain then it's time you faced reality and moved on before you damage this club beyond repair, and before you damage your own reputation beyond repair and ruin any chance you might have of even getting into management at a lower level. In short, you MUST go, and you must go now.

Am I right in saying all 5 goals were scored with the head today?

Swallow Your Pride
Wyness Legend was/is not alone, and right now I don't give a flying hoot what opinion people held last year, last month or even last week. The important, and telling, thing is that as the days go past, more and more people fans are coming to the same conclusion. The club are more than aware of which posters are prone to what stance, and maybe the fact that those who normally fall into the "club can do no wrong" category are now realising this isn't the case will make the club take a bit more notice. If we want change then we ALL have to stick together and remember the ultimate goal is getting what is best for OUR club. That means that we forget about the Gloating, "I told you so's" and set aside any personal differences. The one thing that unites us all, regardless of opinions on the current situation is that we are ICT fans, and NOTHING should ever prevent us from standing side by side against anyone who threatens our club.

Brewster's Tactics
Today's starting formation was shocking, and that's being generous. McGuire and Proctor have been the two worst defenders at the club this season, yet Duff, who bar a couple of errors early on in the campaign had been doing ok (he was at least showing improvement week on week) has found himself benched for no good reason. I'm no fan of playing Black and Duncan together in a midfield 4 as it can lack creativity, but what creativity did come was a result of Black, so to leave Vigurs on the bench today was criminal. I'd even be prepared to stick my neck out and say that Vigurs is THE most creative attack minded midfielder we have at the club just now. It's little wonder we aren't creating anything in the final third when we go with one up front and then fail to put in any kind of player to link up with the front man. Playing a Sweeper.....aside from the fact we have a back 4 who play so deep that there's no space to play a Sweeper, I hardly think "Bomb Scare" McGuire is best suited to the position. The only one of our Defence with ANY experience of that position is Richard Hastings, so if we're going to utilise it, then we at least have to use the most experienced players to fill the role. Loan Strikers.....don't think there's much to be said on this which hasn't been said already. Taking a wider view of things. We hear Brewster saying he wants to see more confidence from the team and wants them to be more positive, but it's hardly a good start when Brewster sets out his formation in such a negative fashion every week. How can players even begin to believe in themselves again when it's abundantly obvious the Manager doesn't know how to play to their individual and/or collective strengths. Brewster has now been through every defensive/negative formation in the book...some of them several times, and he still hasn't managed to turn things around. As I said in my interview for North Tonight....Where are the changes going to come from? Where is the improvement going to come from? I sure as hell don't believe for a single second that throwing money at the problem is the answer, although I will admit that with the decimation of the squad we've witnessed/are witnessing then we will have no choice but to spend in January. Bottom line for me is that Brewster IS NOT realising the potential from what we have, and he should not be allowed to waste any more of our clubs money trying to cover up his inadequacies in the Transfer Window. For the current board to allow that to happen would be shear negligence, and if it does happen then you can be damned sure that once we get rid of Brewster I will be turning my full attention on them. If the Board are acting as puppets to anyone, or if there's non-footballing reasons why Brewster is being allowed to continue or if some are biting their tongue through some misguided loyalty to friends sitting beside them on the Board, then they are only showing themselves out to be weak and I for one do not want weak men (or women) running our club.

Barry and Blackie.
Is it just me, or does it appear as if Brewster has had Bryan Ferry in his CD player this week?

Barry and Blackie.
lol.....I'm thinking the same Steve. Whilst I'm no fan of Brewster, I wasn't going to immediately jump on the "Black dropped for signing pre-contract" conspiracy as I knew he had been carrying a hamstring injury from our last game. I also imagine that if it was a case of "being dropped" then that would have been a good excuse....so the fact they are saying flu either shows the club up (again) or it's genuine. Everyone can make their own call on it.

It was simply merged with (one of) the existing threads which already contains items of a similar nature. Feel free to apologise about the Hitler remark any time you like!!!

ICT fans can't abide OF fans in the home end at the best of times, and with emotions running high as it is then I feel we're more likely than ever before to see some real problems in the home end next week. Not agreeing with it, condoning it or trying to encourage it....but that is the reality of the situation and the club would be very foolish to ignore it.

Barry and Blackie.
Without having performed a first hand medical, I'm as certain as I can be that it was a genuine injury.

Good Luck Barry. Take it easy on us next season if you're still playing.

A goal down in 8 mins and commentators saying our back 5 are falling all over each other suggests it's not working out, DBS.

Black doesn't strike me as the kind of person to bite his tongue so we may well get more of an insight into things when it comes the time for him to leave.
