I, for one, am very sad to see her go. I really liked her and got on extremely well with her. Its a total bugger that shes gone , especially at this time as she had loads of different things on and different ideas to promote the club. She most certainly had the club at heart and worked 7 days a week for all the time I ve known her.
Hopefully we can get a suitable replacement in who has the same enthusiasm in as quick as possible. Any potential candidates names would be welcome .
We need someone on the ground with business and commercial local knowledge that has vision and doesnt mind getting their hands dirty.
Apply within !
Are there any more jumping ship?

If I mind right MacGregor has written off something like £2 million of soft loans for Ross County in the last two seasons.
"The Ross County Way".They are very fortunate to have someone who really cares for his club but unfortunately we don't and will probably never have someone with the same deep pockets.

Where can we find this league table?

That's right.!
The time to give thoughtful and fair consideration to what terms should be in the contract is before, not after. If it's a real contract then the contractee has as much right as the contractor to demand and expect that the club keep their side of the bargain. Otherwise they have the possibility always looming over them that the club can and may take advantage of them whilst they, in turn , are out of a job.
If OFW is fit to play then why does the club not give him a game or two to rest our current ,fantastic goalie and keep OFW in trim and practice.
simple. we can't afford him. that's why he was/is out on loan.

I've said this time and time again. Get the kids along and whilst it won't happen overnight it will lead to a larger fan base in the future.
The club should also be giving out tickets to kids football clubs / groups. I'm not sure what the ratio would be, but 20 kids and 5 adult tickets would cost max £100 with the potential of 25 new fans who can spend money on food etc at the game. If 5 kids want to keep coming then the £100 would be recouped in one game (cost of 5 parents).
We only have 5 home fixtures left this season (before the pay offs!). If the club were to give out 200+ kids tickets for each of the remaining home game and we have a good run until the end to the season there is a great opportunity to attract more interest in season tickets for next season.
iThe club actively issued +200 tickets for every home game to primary school and secondary schools 25 years ago but I don't know how many of those kids are now season ticket holders. If you consider our poor numbers now it doesn't seem to have worked.

DD,
I m flying a personal thought which is bourne out by real and credible concerns that the club is looking at losses for another year . Just common sense . Its my idea . They ve all seen it cos they now know who the mysterious Sheepslagger with the nice bike is !
For instance if the fans monthly contributions were going directly into the managers budget this would be a way that they could see their hard earned going to immediate good use.
Rathar than a the care and maintenance budget !
Are there 500 -1000 fnas out there up for putting £5 - £10 a week into the club ?
Like anyone putting money into their ltd company the contributor must directly see something for their money. As a director it is your responsibility to ensure it is spent where it is most needed. If supporters invested in the Supporters Society the shares would be held by them and this would eventually strengthen the supporters voting rights. I would also insist that ALL directors of this company have a substantial share holding before I asked for anyone elses money.

To be in the financial position we are in we must forget about "giving". I remember the days when youth coaches at Celtic had to have their expense sheet authorised by the CHAIRMAN Fergus McAnn and if they had given the bus driver a tip it came out of their OWN pocket. Let's be clear here, one person, should be in control of ALL expenditure, no matter how small, and that should be the Chair or Finance Director (don't know if we have one) and NOT the Chief Exec. From what I've been told the bonus to beat Ross County would choke a horse when winning should have been incentive enough. We don't have any money to squander so let's get severe controls in and live within our means.

The point of this is Ann Budge invested to get them.out of admin and moving again. They d gone bust. We haven't got an Ann Budge but on the bright side haven't gone bust.
We have got their amount if fans. From recollection they have 8000 members contributing , but that shouldn't put us off.
so how many people do you need and how much would they need to pay?

Are you saying therefore that you wouldn't support something like that or do you not feel it is a good idea? I think that the low fan base is part of the issue we have at present but we can do something to help the club? Not an aggressive statement being made, I'm genuinely interested in hearing what people think.
Oh i think the idea is fine. My only doubt is how popular it would be. Maybe I'm wrong but we would need a very sizeable investment from "Mrs Budge". Maybe the Supporters Trust could be the catalyst where members pay monthly and the trust buys shares monthly. We need clever folk to set this thing up and unfortunately I'm not one.

I'm still waiting for some movement regarding some folks who bought up the hospice shares...
Don't think you'll see any movement there Satan for as long as Dave the Builder has any influence.

It should be remembered that the Hearts model is supported by considerably more fans than we could ever hope for. They also have Mrs Budge.

Let's be clear here. I do not grudge Charles Bannerman two glasses of diet coke. The problem lies in the fact that a club with our financial problems are NOT in a position to give FREE anything. Sorry if this upsets anyone but that's the way I see it. Maybe the directors should pay for any hospitality they provide in the boardroom (for all I know maybe they do).

AGM on 18th March.
Losses of £809k, but would/should have been £600k more (£1.4 Million in total) if not for some creative accounting; allocating the rent savings and other associated write-offs to last years accounts.
Was nice to speak to the elusive Mr Bannerman in the Boardroom today and making full use of the free bar.
maybe if we cut out the boardroom free bar to freeloaders it would help reduce the losses.

For the boys sake folks just accept that he has had to retire due to persistent injury problems and his old club seem to be supporting him (not his fault). JR had to get Jake off the books because of some plonk giving him a huge contract so he actually saved the club money.

CEO Stands Down
in Caley Thistle

I really don't think we need such a high powered position. What we need is a highly motivated, efficient commercial dept/manager to raise revenue including selling out hospitality at every home game. The club directors should be qualified enough to run the club structure and attract investment.
