It could be worse, but given that Huddersfield are being sponsored not to have Paddy Power on their shirts, I think a lot of fans would be happy with that outcome.
I thought there was a limit to the size of lettering allowed on shirts?

Winning 3-0 would've been good however our first competitive game back the players are always going to be rusty. Even if we don't make it out of the group stages it may not be a bad thing as it means less games for a thin squad, and less chances of injuries.
so the Peterhead players weren't rusty?

Taking your thoughts on the bigger issue aside and who the collaboration is with , I think the club should be applauded for getting involved.
For too long we've all been on here lambasting the board and club for not getting the ICT name out in the wider community and expecting things to come to them so it's good to see a more forward thinking approach.
I'm expecting now for the board to push on and get involved in more initiatives.
more like concentrating on getting the club on a sound financial footing and developing a sound foundation to attract investors.

I thik you should gently tell your friend he is no longer 'in the no'

load of nonsense no matter what your views on the issue. just leave people to be what they want to be without all the publicity. there are far more important problems in this world.

Still think that Kingsmill's idea of playing Highland League teams on their week off is by far the best option ?
absolutely nothing wrong in that and we successfully did exactly that many years ago when Doc was reserve team manager. It also gave good experience and game time to u16, u17, full time youth and seniors coming back from injury. just goes to show change for the sake of change does not necessarily help.

The difference is there would be a vacancy which we would apply for under the rules. The SPFL seem hellbent on parachutting OF teams whatever. I dont see any vacancies in the championship?
Im not totally sold on the idea but we need to find some pathway for the young players.
it is vitally important that our youngsters play against men as soon as they are ready. yet another priority for the club but one which could save us a lot of money in the future
-
wow. could play in "skins" for all I care as long as we have a competitive team that gives 100% in every game.
-
anyone heard if we sre entering an u18 squad in the national competition this year?

I think Peter MacKinnon was a very popular man and a very successful centre half for Caley. He was always friendly and respectful and smiling. After my next door neighbour married Pete the Caley players were not short of being shy to show up at her door. Her daughter, Dale, still lives in Inverness and after living at Hilton (I think) she is now resident East of Inverness and has a small farm which I visited the last time I was over. Has some big sheep and she manhandles them with ease. Absolutely great people!!
When that match was played I was 15 at that time but don't recall attending.
This thread is so interesting to me. thanks Mantis!!
Did Peter MacKinnon not have two sons Angus and Peter?

if we can convert half of our home draws to wins and maintain our away stats we won't be far away next season

Beat me to it although I would love to see the 4-4-2 with two wide players and an out and out big man/sharp man up front. Perhaps those days have gone ?
Ray Mackintosh and Billy Urquhart would do me fine. And also Davy Johnston if were doing a 4-3-3.

Everything to prove. IMO a good solid signing obviously within our budget.
