I see, didn't realise he could play left-back. To be honest if Golly is missing, I'd now be inclined to play Eagle there then. Can't be worse than Djebi anyway. I do actually agree with what your saying with playing a different formation at home, well at least against the so called 'weaker' teams. Not sure if I'd have the balls to go 4-3-3 but definately 2 up front. Then again we scored 3 against Ayr at home with this formation, who were and still are on a run......so I think I may have just contradicted myself actually.

I'm pretty sure the 2 year plan kiltarlity referred to was to just gain promotion in the 2 seasons, so you'd have to expect Melville will continue to pump his 'millions' into Dundee wheather they fail or succeed in their attempt to gain promotion this season. if that wa sthe plan as you said Jocky Scott would not have been sacke dwith ten games to go, a new manager would have been brought in at the end of the season. Now they are taking one massive gamble. New manager , new tactics? but still the same players who got them where they are but now are slipping.Dundee have blown it by this decision, this should now give Caley everything they need to win the league. one of the main contenders now in turmoil, more than Caley fans could have expected at this stage of the season. I'm still not convinced. They are 3 points clear and still on for promotion this season, so even if it is a 1 year plan to go up they're still very much on course for it so doubt Jocky would have been sacked although they've been dropping points recently.. As has been mentioned his record is fantastic, must be something going on behind the scenes. Not everything was nice and rosey, reportedly some players were making 'off the record' comments about him.

Well that has to be the uneventful Highland derby I've seen. In saying that it was by no means boring. The game was not helped by the wifey linesman, who seemed very keen to put her flag up. I'm sure Sanchez was onside when he made a run clear through on goal. County were better in the first half, only slightly though as they still never had any proper chances. We started of the second half like a team possessed and took it to them, Eagle hit the inside of the post before it went rolling across the goal mouth, very unlucky not to score. In the last 5-10 minutes County seemed to dominate, could have scored but luckily they never. Apart from the start and end of the half it was fairly uneventful and the draw is a fair result. Bulvitis had a shocker of at half-time says it all, he tried audacious over-head kicks when a simple clearance could have sufficed and may aswell have just watched the players he was supposed to be marking as they won header after header. Doubt he'll play again this season. The league is even more open now with Dundee losing, 3 points behind and to be honest I'd take that to the last game of the season if I could when we play Dundee. Airdrie United home on Tuesday and then Partick away next weekend, it's very cliche but every game is a 'Cup Final' now.

I ahve a dillemma go on the Hibs or County end on Tuesday. Going with a County fan so would be with him if I chose County end and plus maybe the cup will distract them from league. But other than for that reason alone, I wouldn't be able to justify it. Then again I'd prefer them bottling it in both. That would be sweet. Hmmm.
