  1. But it wasnt Lionels fault for the goal Yeah.... Right enuff....that was unusual. In fact probably the only positive note from this game.
  2. All these comments are all very well but did none of you notice anything? We lost the fekkin game.
  3. If he picks Fraser again and we lose, the consequences don't bear thinking about... I also think Mehadjuks should be back in place for this one and Rossco back at R.B.
  4. I'll certainly blame him if he picks Fraser over Esson and we lose the game. We all know who the better keeper is. Why can't he see that?
  5. I'll be quite happy for that to happen at the other end.

So is Butcher happy enough to continue with Esson sitting on the bench? Our very existance could be at stake if we lose on Saturday. He's the manager - he's got one more chance to sort this mess out.

Thanks DavieB - totally agree... If we lose this game thanks to a poor performance from Fraser, I'll be feckin livid... We all know our strikers are unreliable to say the least, but they don't even need to score on Saturday. All we gotta do is get through the game without conceeding a goal then it's party time.

Sorry to drag this back on topic but it has to be said that if Butcher and Esson can't patch up their differences it could be terminal for ICT. All we need to survive next week is 1 point. 1 feckin point... A nil-nil draw would be perfect. Which of our two keepers would be more likely to achieve a shut-out? Fraser will be on his bike straight after the Falkirk game - it would be an act of madness to start the game with him. Is Butcher mad?
  9. So true ............................. the only thing Butcher has done wrong so far is to persist with Michael Fraser. Esson in goal - SPL next season Fraser in goal - the derbys are back It would be an act of madness to play Fraser.... especially when he's on his bike straight after the game anyway. Has TB got a good reason for dropping Esson? I think it's time we were told....
  10. We've got an excellent chance of salvaging the 1 point we need.... But only if Esson's back in goal.
  11. Well I have because I can go back about 100 years... Denis Law for me....
  12. I cant believe anyone would post such drivel . This is the bloke that was in charge of a team that was crying out for an experienced striker yet wouldn't risk his shoulder but as soon as he gets the sack his shoulder injury isn't a problem and he pulls on the boots to play for dross county , erse of a man . Sorry DC.... What I should have said is that I hope he gets bowel cancer, and that his next sh!te's a hedgegog.
  13. Brewster did all right for ICT in his first stint with the club - thanks mainly to his contributions as a player.... It was unfortunate things didn't work out for him second time around. I wish him well in his new post and seriously hope that he manages to ressurrect his managerial career

Has he played his last game for ICT? It's been mentioned on another thread that the relationship between him and Butcher is beyond repair. If true, and I have heard it from a couple of different sources now, it is very disturbing, especially with Fraser on his way out. I would rate Esson as one of the best keepers in the SPL and one of Brewster's better signings for ICT.... :024:
  15. I just wish Butcher and Esson could patch up their differences. Fraser might not have been to blame for either goal, but I'd still be happier with Esson between the sticks for these remaining vital games.
  16. Very cushy number being a policeman in Fife...
  17. Good to see Robbo back online again. How do you see tonight's game going JR?
  18. More significant now but not so once the last ball has been kicked. I would say that in terms of giving the team the impetus to get us back into a winning frame of mind then Blackie's penalty against Rangers is perhaps the most significant goal of the season and perhaps if things go our way could be looked upon as the one which will secure us survival. I agree... Blackie was brilliant that night and that goal did give the team a massive boost.... Maybe he'll manage the same feat tonight - ideally in stoppage time again!
  19. Yeah.... but goals scored tonight and on Saurday could be much more significant now that we know what we have to do to survive.
  20. Ok for you to issue personal insults of course...
  21. That probably gets taken into account when they calculate their charges for policing one of our games.
  22. I can't recall Fraser ever giving away a penalty, or being sent off.... But I agree - it wouldn't be a bad thing to have Esson coming on if that ever happened! I love all this hypothetical stuff....so much more interesting than reality.
  23. Fraser has the potential to become a better keeper than Esson... but right now experience and confidence is paramount... Esson should be between the sticks for the final 3 games - he and Butcher are just gonna have to kiss and make up.
  24. Unfortunately for Lionel he's very noticeable and instantly recogniseable on the park... He's very tall of course...
  25. Aye.. You'd laff at anything so you would!! You'd laff at a wummin shakin' a duster oot a windae!! :015: :015: :015: :015:
