  1. Did you ever go on the bus to away days SMEE? We used to go all the time, it was a right of passage almost for a lot of boys my age from Dalneigh.
  2. If your support for Caley was never in question then surely you must remember the feelings of togetherness there was on the buses to Buckie , Elgin etc? We'd beat them on and off the park and it made you feel a real part of your football club . I still meet up with lads i used to go to the games with and have a good laugh about the old days and the scraps we used to get into defending our team.
  3. Read post #43. Probably been to more games than you , but wait a minute you listen to the games on the radio so you truely are a fan
  4. I think your deliberately missing the point here. Its not the Inverness City fans that make them appealing its the fact its a new club and that old aquaintances can be " bumped into " again in places like elgin etc.
  5. Not saying that at all , merely pointing out why we wouldnt go to ICT games as no other fans take them seriously.
  6. Most of the lads were Caley fans and wouldn't be seen dead at TCS and would never support the club in any way . Not sure if you realise it but a lot of people view the ICT support as a joke , OAPs , kids and wifeys.
  7. I'm meaning 40 0r 50 lads going for a good day out to the football, like we did in the Highland league days.
  8. rabble rousers !!! What century are you living in?
  9. You Sir are an ass hole. I bet your not a parent.
  10. I know some lads that are planning running buses to City away games , would be like the Highland League days again :thumb04: :018: Eh???? I went to a City game at the start of the season and there was about 10-15 ppl watching! Cant see the need for a bus...other than getting the team there Who said anything about home games? These guys are talking about a bus to away games ie New Elgin , dress code Casual ;)
  11. Of course the teams around us ( Aberdeen, Falkirk , Hibs ) have done better than us. do you follow football Mainstander?
  12. I know some lads that are planning running buses to City away games , would be like the Highland League days again :thumb04: :018:
  13. I can believe Premier League scouts are watching the Fletcher situation but have real difficulty believing they would be watching any of the Caley lads.
  14. shocking if you ask me I don't agree that the wearing of poppies should be compulsory, but these people are imbeciles. Hopefully the media will ignore them. People died for their country. Some of them may not have wanted to fight, and some of the causes for which they died may not stand up to scrutiny. But the fact is that they died or were injured as a consequence and they deserve respect and support for that. But I have to confess I don't really understand Celtic at all and their obsession with ancient Irish history. You don't see Inverness players refusing to go to Fort George because it's a sign of English oppression. I suggest you look into the history of Glasgow Celtic F.C. it might help explain it for you.
  15. Esson for me. Not voting yourself Yngwie?
  16. Barrowman one of our best players!!! I'll have a pint of whatever your drinking.
  17. Must be the worst loser in football. Now he waits til 3 days after the Stoke game and comes out with absurd comments about Stoke trying to deliberately injure his players
  18. I really hope not, Proc is pysh at centre back... Duff should have been in there on saturday, at least he's played with granty in that position, and he was match fit, yet another weird decision from the management. I dont know where this Proctor is pish at centre back has come from. He may well have had stinker on saturday, but on the other occasions I have seen him at centre back, he has looked composed and athletic. In fact, found this ditty at the bottom of the page. http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...?showtopic=5793 Pish at centre back indeed So he played well against Gretna , Mr Burley will surely be calling soon :thumb04:
  19. I spoke to a couple of Rangers fans on Sunday and they told me they left at half time as it was " no fun watching us thrash such a poor side ". Even the rangers fans were embarassed for us.
  20. Any links to pictures of Telford Street or Grant Street?
  21. Yes Alex the very same Jimmy Nicholl who lasted a year at Milwall and got them relegated And it was the League Cup he won with Raith.
