  1. Aye very good scotty, how many games have you seen recently? I know Canada and all that, but come on, Brewster can do no right according to some posters and even Alex Macleod has deserted the ship. Whoever the manager is we should get behind him and the team, for better or for worse. We all know everything is not rosey, but the constant slagging of the whole ICT set up is getting boring. We as a site should be getting behind the team. Instead of that we are putting words into the mouths of the weaker links and demanding the head of the manager. Some people have risen above their station I'm afraid. Support the club or go and watch County in the first division, yes thats right, first division.
  2. I know steve, but plenty folk are quick to dish out the dirt, but not so quick to give a wee pat on the back when things go well. I don't think for one minute that this single result will endear Brewster to the ICT fans and nor should it, but fair play to him and the team, great result today. My gringo prediction was 4-0 to Hibees. And for what it's worth I also voted for Brew to go in the poll on here recently. I did not think he had what it takes to turn round the recent results and performances, but hey, he got it right today. So, yes, credit when it's due, and the reverse of that is take the flak when the going gets tough. As the manager is stubborn, there are also some very stubborn posters on here, and Brew, or whoever the manager will be is always on a hiding to nothing. Pantiliner at Hibs may be on a sticky wicket though, things not going his way just now.

  4. Whats the problem with saying well done ICT and Brew.
  5. Seems like a good choice to put Esson in between the sticks. Penalty save and all should see him keep the jersey for next couple of games. Well done Ryan.
  6. Wow, some game, atmosphere reminded me of the Tulloch Stadium at times. 2-1 for Arsenal.
  7. Great first half. High octane stuff. if you are sitting at home doing nothing, then don't miss the second half. 1-0 to the Gunners at half time.
  8. Looking back to last weekends game against Rangers. If you study the free kick which Mike spilled for the opening goal, I believe he saw it late and the shot looked pretty ferocious. I have seen worse from top class keepers. I am sure we would all like Boruc to play for ICT, but look at some of the blunders he has made. The problem for Mike is the defence, or lack of defence, in front of him. He can't perform miracles. Time is a great healer..........we seemed to think that Broonie was a top class keeper but we all appear to have selective amnesia and all his blunders are a distant memory. He was much worse than Mike Fraser at coming to meet the ball, crosses, kicking and general control of his penalty box. The only trait that Fraser carried on from Broonie was the inability to save penalty kicks. Anyway, Esson looks a decent keeper as well and maybe this will keep them both on their toes. Mike Fraser will come back a better keeper for this, I hope it is with this club though.
  9. Mikey has been a decent keeper since Brown was lured to the big spondulachs. Is Esson better? I don't know, what I do believe is that he won't make the squad any worse. If and when he plays tomorrow I hope the guys in front of him perform to their best. Let's all dig in and loo took the future.
  10. Fact............................he never got ICT promoted to the SPL.

  12. Hey Gav, the tea towel is hanging out of the window ready for you
  13. See, I told you we would look at this differently in the morning. Come on ICT, give the Hibees a thrashing next week.
  14. tm4tj posted a topic in Caley Thistle
OK folks, is this the beginning of the end of life as we know it. What is wrong with the team? Forget Brew, thats another topic. What in your opinion is the main problems with the current team/squad? I believe it's time for a few of the players to take a look in the mirror and have a reality check. Dougie Imrie, local cult figure with section G. Is he up to it. Hot and cold for me good at Aberdeen and against Celtic, otherwise, overawed. Don Cowie, over hyped after last seasons blockbusting performances. Hastings.........don't start me, Canada beckons. Mike Fraser, confidence seems to have deserted him after some good performances. Rossco, has some of the magic gone? Grantie, where is the leadership and drive that you should have learned from Bobby? Thats just for starters. Russell Duncan, Iain Black, Barry Wilson, Adam Rooney, and maybe Woody all have futures at this club. The likes of Rory, Barrowman, Hastings, Imrie, Cowie, McBain sadly, Proctor.....................this is an almost endless list. So, what do we think the problem is and how do we solve it?
  15. Maybe not the best solution *****man However, like Alex, I am rapidly losing faith (the little I had) and maybe now is the time to part company. Sorry Craig.
  16. Will it be time for a change when we are in the First Division.
  17. Sorry Gav, I could no be ersed looking fot the tongue in cheek emoticon. This is the breaking point for his thin string, it was never a thick rope in the first place, but I feel it is about to snap. Falkirks bogeyness was not apparent in the league game this season. In all honesty we are no worse than Killie, Falkirk, Saints, Hamilton, Abereen.............. However, we need the right man at the helm to steer us clear of these troubled waters. Relegation, or should I type the avoidance of relegation is much tougher this year and we will be in the mix for this.
  18. We will all look at it differently in the morning. To be honest, all other teams are on a hiding to nothing against the old firm, anything from these games is a bonus. We were gubbed, by a much superior team. No disgrace in that really. The thing that is eating into all of us though is the manner of the defeat and the shambles of the direction from the leaders. 5-0 at half time is pretty poor though. Hope all those that went along saw the funny side of it. Nobody died and nobody was seruiously injured. We will have to re-group for the next few games. This is surely the most crucial stage of Brew's tenure at ICT. If he can't turn this around then the board have to appoint someone who can and maybe even look at their own positions closely.
  19. The back slapping has to stop. Time for gardening leave I'm afraid Mr Brewster.
  20. As often happens in these games...........the team that scores a Barrowman in the first half draws a blank in the second half.
  21. At least Blackie seems to be trying. Best player we have this season by a long way.
  22. Burley is right, that Boyd fellow is rubbish. Maybe Burley should walk with Brewster.
  23. We are not alone, Chelsea 5-0 Sunderland
  24. We lost 5-0 to Celtic did we not at Parkhead, and maybe CC was the manager but I'm not sure. We also created about eight really good scoring opportunities in that game and it could easily have finished 7-7 or similar. Today is just a shambles though. Pick our MoM out of that lot.
  25. Aways on a hiding to nothing in Glasgow against the old Firm. Looks like a torrid second half to come. We will just have to take this one on the chin. Who had 10-0 in the prediction league?
