The Home Crowd v The Away Crowd
There was a sponsored silence at todays game in the North Stand.................the only thing to breech the silence was caley100 encouraging Hastings.

Home Form
therefore................???????????????????????????????

ICT -V- Hearts : matchday thread
I will cancel it Smee when you go along to a game. But Hastings was his usual rubbish performance, floated crosses, losing his winger etc. Plenty of energy, but not zest.

Hastings MoM.......... remind me to cancel my Sky subscription

Bazza Wilson
I'm with DBS on this one. Barry tried very hard and was one of the few players we had with sufficient quality to unlock a defence. Some supporters have simply lost the plot and believe we should be better than we are. Wake up guys, we are ICT and playing in the SPL, unlike County.

Home Form
To be honest guys Brew has tried both formations at home and with limited success. He needs to stick to one formation at home and persevere with it. If it does not work, then the players are simply not good enough. I will come back again, in the hope we can get the extra break we deserve.

ICT -V- Hearts : matchday thread
Tokely was my MoM, with Imrie working hard and Rooney trying his best. Plenty of effort, but little end product. We seemed to have difficulty being first to every second ball........if you get my drift. Every 50/50 ball, we lost out. The goal itself was a bit soft from our point of view. Space on the eedge of the box, half powered low strike, but from where we were sitting, goal as soon as it was struck as Esson was on the opposite side of the goals and struggled to reach it with his finger tips. We maybe deserved a draw, but in all honesty we were shy in the box. Now I like Grantie, our captain, but come on, when was the last time we scored fro one of your long throws......I can't remember. We had around eight or maybe more throw ins in the second half and despite caley100 screaming NO NO NO, he persisted in this tactic. I must admit, Stoke City use this tactic to great effect, but we are getting found out time and time again with this ploy. Overall............we maybe deserved a draw, but lacked the quality upfront, despite the 4-4-2 formation, which started brightly.

Brewster is the man for the job
:thumb04: is Brewster the man for the job

Respect
Yes, never been more serious, are you?

Respect
If they are good enough they can play anywhere on the park. Vigurs is one of the clique that escape crticism from the cult followers, as is Imrie and Cowie. Well that should change. God knows how Imrie got Player of the Month after some of his displays. I agree that Brewster was culpable for the first half showing, after all he picks the team and the formation surely. But as he was culpable for the first half, he deserves some plaudits for changing things around early enough to make it count. Not a satisfactory game of football..........a game of two halves I suppose.
-
Respect
maybe the players should work harder then. Vigurs got balled out for dilly dallying and losing posession, something he did all night until he was substituted.
-
Rooooooooneeeeeeey
Rooney and Barrowman should be given a prolonged run up front. They looked eager and sharp last night. Barrowman won plenty of aerial balls and also made decent runs without getting the service and some neat flicks and interchanges. Rooney looks the most likely if we are only playing one up front.

Player of the month October
Blind loyalty comes in many shapes and sizes. Would you believe some people vote for the same player every week wether they are good or bad, some vote for their favourite hairstyles and some vote for the worst players on the park. There is a trophy at stake for the winner, please try and keep it realistic, and only vote if you have attended the match.

ICT -V- Falkirk : Matchnight Thread
I thought Vigurs was just about playing at Hastings level last night, absolutely woeful the pair of them. Vigurs was probably the main culprit for giving the ball away and misplacing passes. Hastings must sit out some games. He is getting worse by the game. Everytime we broke forward on the left, we had Dougie, I cannae beat the defender, Imrie looking for help, up popped Hastings and you knew that was the end of the move. Countless forays forward ended with Hastings standard ***** cross or hitting the nearest player to him. On the other flank earlier, we had Don, I cannae tackle, Cowie running around like a headless chicken and shirking tackles. He also missed a good chance to volley home in the first half. Fortunate goal as the ball bobbled around off the keeper and the bar but we just about deserved it for our endeavour in the second half.

Yes he was booked for his over zealous celebrations over the wall in the North Stand.

Team fer Jam Tarts
I would be dropping Hastings, stick Roy at left back and starting with Barry Rooney and Barrowman, leaving Wood Vigurs and Cowie on the bench.

ICT -V- Falkirk : Matchnight Thread
Disappointing first half much brighter second half. At least Brew realised that the first half formation/team was poor and changed it, with Rooney and Barrowman looking lively in the second half. Barry Wilson should also be starting in my opinion, he offers us more width and looks dangerous when he takes on defenders, pity about the late chance that came his way. Hastings was guff by the way.

Hibernian -V- ICT : matchday thread
No disaster going to Easter road and beating the Hibees. By all accounts we were worth our three points and Hibs goal was merely a consolation with practically the last kick of the ball. Good day all round for us.

Hibs Smileymometer
I think the comments of the radio team were that Wood would sleep well tonight.

Hibs Smileymometer
Near enough Jondo, listened on the radio and sounded like a good counter attacking display, probably like Dons game. Incidentally, Wood got big points on the Sentanta player rating. Young zogg and crusher were in atendance.

Aye very good Scotty again, why not quote the whole sentence where I accepted the fact that you are in Canada. feck me, I am not getting at you or D for the stance you guys are taking, along with three thousand others, but it does not take a lot out of you to say..........maybe he got it right, just maybe...........swallows and summers and all that.....................I go to all home games and maybe 70% of away games and like to think I can form a rational & reasonable opinion of the team and management structure. As an aside, I dislike the fact that you can't tell if someone has posted since you type a long winded report.

Credit where credit's due
We all want the best for the team D, but some of us go about it in a differnt way. The constant stabbing of ICT and the management is not helping. To be perfectly honest, I am sick to the back teeth of the back biting and back stabbing being portrayed on here and the sooner we all wise up the better. We are not Celtic or Rangers, just another run of the mill SPL club.

I know Alex, and it was a wake up call maybe to some site visitors as you are normally pro ICT. I believe in getting behind whoever is in charge..............no puns intended in that sentence.................results have not been great recently and if ICT, with or without Brew can turn it around then fine.

Fraser Dropped - Courier
Apparently he did pretty well Alex. Saving a penalty helped.

Smee, his name is Esson, I notice you were misnaming him on the chattydoobly thing today. Consistency is what every team would like and if anyone knows the recipe for that then they are on a winner. I accept that not everyone wants Brewster to be here, but some people have never given him a chance, which to be honest is not very democratic. He should stay or go on the results the team produce. So far there is no reason to oust him as we are not adrift at the bottom of the league.............should this change as is likely given our up and down performances, then Brewster will be brought to task, but in the mean time, he should surely be supported... no, my bad. cutting off your nose to spite your face...................................give it a go mun, it won't hurt, mind you, some of the home performances have been hard to understand.
