  3. Scarlet, you know how you can get phones with huge buttons................maybe you could buy a keyboard with big buttons as well.
  4. And of course we will beat Falkirk.
  5. Would that figure be due to the drop in VAT to 15%.
  6. First game since turkey, but I belive they have had steak, chicken and pasta.
  7. Wow............seriously bad game, are we really worse than either of these teams. Half an hour gone and neither team has had an effort on goal. Wyness playing like he did for us at the end of his term here, woeful, hardly getting a kick of the ball. What a dire advert for Scottish football. Real schoolboy stuff. Hope the game picks up second half.
  8. Are you asking Scarlet
  9. latviaman, you should not need to enter the name if you are replying, just hit the reply tab on the bottom of the message. This should also enter a quote from original message. Start typing above the quote outwith the quoted typing, maybe have to hit enter a couple of times to drop the quote down the page a bit, and the new message appears at the top Ensure you enter a subject if typing a new one as scarlet said, but if you forget it usually flags up as message not sent almost immediately. When entering names on a new message, use the name finder at the top and click on the name as it appears, always better than guessing the name, ie capitals/spaces etc. Send me a message to confirm if you have sussed it.
  10. I have no issues with IE7, works fine for me and returns me to my post once posted.
  11. Sounds like a typical Cowie performance. He will score goals arriving late into the box and should do well enough for you. He may well be a 6-10 goals a season man. Takes a mean free kick on occasions.
  12. I'm free, a gent, and I am the man for the job.
  13. You have got it in one dude, I could not give a scooby what they sing, it won't affect me. Lets all sit in silence at football matches. PC has taken over the world. It's only words.

I don't agree that Lionel is the most improved player. He has always had these attributes, the only difference being that he is now getting a few games to consolidate his performances and we are seeing the benefits in his perceived improved performances and playing for the first team we are now all aware of his style of play. Still some raw edges, but who better to learn from than Mr Butcher. When he arrived at the club I was one of the few who said he could be a decent signing given a chance. I also said in the Partick report that he probably had played his last game for us, judged solely on his first half performance and his hooking at half time. However, being handed the left back slot has done him no harm at all and he may well now flourish given a run of games making it difficult for Hastings to regain his slot. After all, Hastings is the one player who is posted missing most games when we are attacked in the left back area, he can't head the ball very well, and his crosses are woeful, hence the back to Canada rant at Motherwell a couple of years ago (oats) With Lionels general demeanour, he should strike fear into most players, a la Balde, and hopefully he will continue to be an asset to help our cause. (he still frightens the life out of me) So, well done Lionel and long may your lum reek.
  15. Get over it guys, worse happens at sea.
  16. I was at that Motherwell game as well, all superb goals and played on a midden.
  17. You could be right.........
  18. Great pic 7. Was this just before the 90% left hander before the straight that led to the chicane at the end of the stage? I suspect it is this section going by the arrow direction of the impending corner. The reason I ask this, you may ask, was that we were spectating at the other end of the straight going up the incline that led to Tichy ending up in the ditch/verge. If it is the very same piece of action, then Tichy slid off the camber on the road at the bottom of the straight as he passed us, and to the delight of all the spectators there, he proceeded to run the car the full length of the straight , around 350 metres, completely rutted in the ditch, unable to get back onto the centre of the road and only stopped at the top because he was about twenty yards from the gate which would have blocked him completely. Good effort by Tich and good entertainment. A lot of the cars had difficulty on this section as they booted it coming out of the Z bend, unfortunately most were caught out by the camber causing them to fishtail up the brae. That is apart from the Metro 6R4 of the winner who absolutely rocketed away, by far the quickest car on the stage...........and Tich who couldn't quite keep the car out of the ditch. Got some good shots on the video through my wee pocket camera, unfortunately when the Nova came along, I thought he was going too slow, and switched off..................little did I or Tich realise what was about to happen. The Puma had an angry Escort Cossie right on his erse as they passed us, horns and lights flashing, and another good bit of action was the Mk2 Escort hunting down the posh Evo, really closing him down as they slid past us. As for the parking...........it's just your Donald Duck I'm afraid. I waited till virtually all the cars had been through the stage and got out no problem, five mins max. Not sure if the organisers can be blamed for the pregnancy........... Hope everyone got home safely. :thumb04:

They mentioned it right at the start that Rossco would be the weak link, methinks they had it in for him from the start, just like Johndo has it in for Lionel.

  22. Not sure what you expected to happen caley. I also was parked in the field, fairly near the top, but still required assistance to get towed out. Same happened two or three years ago at the same stage when there was lots of snow. I arrived back at my car around 2:00 and was on the road within ten minutes. Thats the beauty of playing in the snow. Plenty of incidents yesterday. Have to say that the winner was really flying when he passed us, easily the fastest we saw passing us on stage two. Well done to big Norman in his skoda. 76th overall in his first rally........wooohooooo. Snowman results.
  23. Sorry Who said there would be an inspection? from bbc site Dundee United's match with Inverness looks set to go ahead, despite the wintry weather on Tayside. United manager Craig Levein is likely to give Paul Caddis his debut, while midfielder David Robertson and Paul Dixon are also in line for recalls. Filipe Morais will miss the match for Inverness as the player is struggling with bruising around his knee. Striker Andrew Barrowman will see a specialist next week about his own troublesome knee injury.
