  1. no..............was it a good goal or a bad mistake
  2. It's all in the past though. It's like saying Wyness is a prolific striker..................well he was once............
  3. Bit harsh on poor old Zibi, he has made major errors in the past, one biggy against Aberdeen for us but he has been pretty much faultless in most of his reserve outings for us. I say sign him. I will accept any flak when and if he continues to make blunders.
  4. Glad to see you are keeping it on topic Johndo, it must be the weather.
  5. Skelton will have nobody to play with :010:
  6. This thread does exactly what it says on the tin. Who, in your humble opinion, is the best act you have seen live with your own eyes. Not what is your favourite act, what is yous favourite song or who is the greatest musician in the world............although, if you have seen the greatest musician in the world, he will most likely be the bestest act/band you have ever seen. Does that help.
  7. Cogratulations to Marius for being thought highly enough of to get into the national squad. A step in the right direction for Marius, Romania ICT and us.
  8. No worries Bronson, a lot the positive posters have taken a back seat due to the rubbish posted. Rossco is not in vogue with some of the younger supporters at the club. Expectations have overtaken reality and dreams have become visions of the future. Personally, I believe Rossco is offering what he has always done, full commitment to ICT. Sometimes ungamely but always doing his best for ICT. He can be let down by others around him, and he has also had a couple of blemishes on his CV. But I would rather have him in the team than some of the others who are only here for the beer. Cheers Rossco, now get out there and get us a couple of goals.
  9. morning mun, it's bright and breezy, not too warm, could be snow on the way.
  10. Waterlogged pitch allegedly. Probably just giving it an extra few days to help it over the winter. Anyway game off according to official site, so you will just have to eat yer picnics in the conservatory and watch the rain.
  11. Thats the winner then, just back from seeing a genius at work. Neil Young at Hammersmith Apollo awesome, absolutely awesome, a living legend. He played for over two and a half hours, acoustic set first then a toilet break, then came back to blow your head off with haunting bludgeoning electric ramblings, just awesome. He went from guitars to pianos to mouthies to banjos to organ to old Blackie the man is simply a genius. He has some energy for a man in his sixties, he can rock with the best of them, in fact, he just possibly is the best of them. Bumped into mr Naelifts and party at the gig........well, in the Duke of Cornwall before the gig, pretty sure they enjoyed it as well. The only downside of having a guy that has written so many songs is he can't fit them all in, but he certainly gave it a good try. No After The Goldrush was disappointing, but so much to choose and Old Man had the hairs standing on the back of my neck. Down By The River just got better and better and Powderfinger had everyone in raptures. His distinctive edgy guitar playing is just so special, raw and original certainly covers this legend. Plenty of feedback and piercing ear busting wailing from Blackie, but the return to the rythymn and punching beats completes the journeys and if that is not enough the harmonica that compliments the shrill tones from Neils tonsils gets plenty of puffs as well. His voice is as haunting as it was in the early seventies, not a lot has changed and his energy knows no bounds. Thats it then, the contest is over for the bestest live band ever, it has just been won. :clapping03:

    concerns

I would imagine most of us know exactly where you are coming from tuggers. The season started pear shaped, rounded up a bit and has gone pear shaped again. Frustrating season as we were well capable of being in the top six, but not on the performances since January. The Rangers game was probably the best of the recent decline, at least we showed up for that one. We have played worse than the Hearts defeat, but for most of us, it was the straw that broke the donkeys back. Scarlet, the ?100 away top is not just a football strip, it is a type pf sponsorship, probably amounting to ?60 for the pleasure, as replica tops are normally about ?40. Now they are a rip off. Who is your dentist, I'll give him ?200 to take your whole head off.
  14. Naelifts Crusher Zogg and I will be checking out Neil Young in London next weekend, I think you will find Canada has offered some of the finest music since the seventies with Mr Young at the helm. Bring it on, a pleasnt change from the doldrums in the SPL.
  15. info on wikipedia Absolutely astonishing style of play, but he is up there with the best. :021: :021: :021:
  16. To be honest, I believe we have played much worse. Motherwell at home and Dundee United first half at home, however, this does not detract from the fact that there appeared to be little cohesion or team spirit on show against a mediocre Hearts side. We seemed totally incapable of conjuring up anything. We can't have suddenly gone from team of the month in December, to worst team in the league two months later. Saturday was the start of an easier run of games for us and we blew it big time. Some if not all of the blame must lie with the manager for tis abysmal form of late. Not just the form on the park, but the bigger picture, just what is going on down at the dumo? Can I add, keep Marius out of this one, he needs the same support he is giving the players who ignore him by not getting the ball to him. Is this poor play, or poor players? There is one more thing he could do, and it is an honourable thing at that. I'm not convinced Rankin is the problem, but the results show we did better when he played, although they also show McGuire to be a good defender...............now, that is where the stats don't add up.
  17. caleymore, you are correct about Imrie, he is "bound to improve", well on Saturdays performance that is his only option. He had a stinker, like many others in the team. Fraser maybe not the best at the first goal, but that apart I thought he was our best performer, along woth Tokely and Marius. Patti was not at his best either, he disappointed me, I was looking for more from him. Lack of pace throughout the team is hurting us. McGuire should be replaced by Proctor when fully fit. Well done to Rory for having the balls to have a shot at goal, his twenty five yarder just rising too high, but at least he gave it a go, albeit the game was well over by then. Really big disappointment. Not sure why Black seems to be the fall guy every week, being subbed before others more deserving of a rest, no wonder he gets frustrated. Yes, it's been a bad two months at the office, is there any light at the end of the tunnel? Bring on the close season.
  18. Best we have played in ages, whats the problem.. Tokely, Niculae Fraser Hastings get pass marks, and Rory, who came on very late and at least he had the cheek to shoot at goal albeit just over, sometrhing his more illustrious slot takers would do well to keep in mind. Unbelievably found ourselves 0-2 down, then even more bizarrely found ourselves 0-3 down.....how bizarre......I feel a song coming on. Like everyone else, I felt the urge.....the urge to leave early, but I am a stubborn basturd..........I watched the last minute from the edge. Really disappointing as like the rest I thought this would be the start of a decent run. Bring on next year.
  19. Your head will still stick above the parapets ya git
  20. Och, the wind has dropped to just hurricane force now and the rain has also wilted back to monsoon condition. Hearts just love those conditions.
