1. I regularly went to Aberdeen games until just after the '95 Coca Cola cup final where they won against Dundee, after that I started watching ICT. The only other teams I follow are Norwich and Forres Mechanics.
2. Can you buy at the gate? I stay 5 minutes from Parkhead and was thinking of wandering down if I'm not working.

Next Round

IIRC we are unseeded as we were in the first Division last year we were classed as 13th in the list of teams to be seeded or something along those lines.
4. What isn't mentioned in the article about the Hamilton game is there were a lot of home fans giving complimentry tickets to the Accies fans. Also accorting to some Accies fans they hadn't won in 7 games and hadn't scored any goals, so with that and the game being on midweek really lends itself to a small away support.
5. What a great wee pub and an great atmosphere pre match. Cheers Harry
6. I'm game for that. See you there. I'll eat a bit more so I am not ****** on the train back. I'll be there as well. Hopefully I'll bother chucked outthis game and I'm goingto remember to get my train ticket earlier as well. Anyone know the price of a train ticket from glasgow.
7. Gus Mcpherson, Andy Millen and Paul Hartley were also at the game tonight along with someone from Carlisle.
8. Yes, the baseball capped steward was shouting at my brother before I was escorted out. Funny thing is they never took my name or gave me a reason for throwing me out.
9. I had a good night even if I did vacate the stadium 5 minutes into the 2nd half . The embankment across the road was handy to see most of the rest of the game.
10. Wow, that is an amazing read. That there are people out there who believe this sort of thing does not suprise me anymore but my god.
11.

is that a mathematical certainty is results go that way? havent worked out the permutations.....

Yeah if Falkirk beat st mirren we are 3 points above st mirren so if we get a point on sat and st mirren lose they go down.
12. Maybe a little bit of **** stirring I must admit but what have we been crying out for all season? A Striker able to hold up the ball long enough to bring others into play. Obviously not going to happen but everyone has been crying out for more experience in the team especially our forward line.
13. Here's one http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/2009/01...86908-21057940/ Could be the answer to some of our problems. We know he'll be fit but maybe a bit rusty but could certainly bring the youngsters into the games a bit more. 6 month contract with an option for more and there is no fee due for him either. What do you think?
14. Having just watched the highlights. Oh my god that was some **** poor defending for the 2nd and 3rd goals. Has no one ever told Imrie not to pass across the face of goal and as for Hastings, he should have been smacking that ball out of the fecking stadium not trying to be cute. I think some players mental faculties are not as sharp as they should be when it comes to defence. Sometimes you need to put your foot through the ball not play tippy tappy football; as defenders your job is to not concede a goal. If the opposing team are attacking then sometimes it is better to hoof the ball than to play it, we don't (going from the highlights I have seen and radio I have heard) seem to have the smarts to figure this out for ourselves.
15. I am now of the opinion that Brew must go. I have not seen any game this season as I work every weekend and would have to take a holiday to watch the team. Going by the reports in the papers and talking to people I know who do still go to the home games, we are dire at the moment. Something needs to change and I think that must be the manager, to continue to play the same tactics when they are not working beggars belief. I could understand it if he was making changes to the team week in week out trying to find a better combination of players for the tactics but he doesn't seem to be doing this. As anyone who plays FM or CM or any football management sim knows, if you don't have the players for a tactic you don't use that tactic. I wanted to give Brew time and I did but the results aren't there and the effort isn't there. Brew is not learning from the defeats, he isn't changing things round. Waiting until the game is over is not a tactic. It's not even as if he is here to clear the deadwood like he was at DU, he knows the players for the most part from his previous time here. Someone needs to take charge. I haven't even heard of the players having a team meating to talk this through, where you do hear of other teams doing this so Granty, finger out, get the team together and sort something out. You have a responsibility as Captain of out club.
16. Youngy, Ignore IHE he is a bit of a wind up merchant, just look at some of his other points. He does manage to make valid points every so often but they can be hard to see.
17. I still dont get this preoccupation with getting rid of Brew, he's done **** all wrong so far. As for getting a half decent manager, who? We will not attract a "top" manager and we are not a big enough club to take a manager from another club of similar level.
18. I guess we are all lucky to have the OF in the league so we can make money from their loyal fans who make up the vast majority of decent supporters in this country . I'd still like to know if the charge is even legal under the Spl constitution. Although I think that the other teams should sell direct to the OF fans then charge Rangers and Celtic 5% for us to do so :thumb04:
19. I think that we have started better than the other seasons in the SPL, we have gone back to playing rubbish at home and semi decent away from home. As long as we keep picking up the points we should be in no real troble this season. It is going to be a lot closer but I think that Hamilton are going to suffer once the first round of games are over as that's when their element of suprise will have gone. The Biggest thing we need to work on is defending set plays as we are damn near useless at 'em whose fault that is I don't know but something needs to be done as we are losing to much from these situations.
