  1. She is a very knowledgeable person. It is only a question of time before we see a female manager or coach of a male team in the UK.
  2. Sourcing new players at a good price should be easier for the forthcoming season. Polly is to be released by Motherwell along with a significant number of first teamers. Kilmarnock are unloading players. The question is, who are we keeping and what budget does the new man or woman becoming head coach will be working within.
  3. The St Johnstone legend that is Shaun Rooney...................two national cup competition wins - two goals. Amazing achievement.
  4. Conor Pepper will be playing in Europe next season for Linfield after they won the Irish Cup for the 44th time - they look pretty certain to win the Irish Premiership too.
  5. Guys like Garry Warren, Carl Tremarco, David Raven or Ross Draper may show an interest. However, there will be a lot of players coming up Just look at to retirement with coaching badges who are likely to apply. Just look at St Johnston's success this year. Ardiles will no doubt apply as usual but Zidane may struggle with the Scottish accent. Billy Dodds would seek to bring back a strong attacking philosophy if he applies. Derek MacInnes .....was a good manager.
  6. With Ryan possibly off to Norwich or Burnley we will at least soon have some money in the bank.
  7. To be fair to the three teams in the play off places, they deserve to be there. Neither Hamilton nor Ross County will fancy their chances against any of them/.
  8. Where is Dennis Wyness when you need him?
  9. Brilliant news. His performances since the new hairstyle have been top drawer.
  10. We have to accept that our run in is the toughest of the lot now given the fact we have played a game more than our peer group.
  11. Sadly we have no choice but to try and get a win this Saturday. The last 6 games have been amazing so now is not the time to stop the momentum.
  12. The problem seems to be one of realism. The club seems to be deluded that we have a right to be in the top 4. Clearly there has been a major problem with Robbo and his number 2 details of which are confidential. But currently, the team look devoid of drive, of hunger, of cohesiveness. McCann seemed like a good idea but sadly is yesterday's man with a big ego but little motivational skill. We are not too good to be relegated.
  13. Hopefully we will witness a hunger to succeed on Tuesday. If not, our play off could be against Cove Rangers and that would be very tricky. Buckie must be getting very excited about a Ross County game.
  14. Maybe the the players realised a play off place for the First Division was a possibility. Some interesting results today. A great result.
  15. We need hunger in players. That has to make up for lack of match fitness.
  16. Rooney was man of the match in the League Cup Semi for St Johnston for whom Jamie will also have a cup final . Polworth sent off after a yellow for a second offence deemed a straight red - he may appeal but then receive a notice of complaint that the first yellow was not stringent enough for a kick and lash! Even more interesting, Yogi wants to sign Jordan White from Motherwell! ...and, George Oakley may sign for Kilmarnock after a spell in Bulgaria.
  17. Bear in mind that the punishments dished out to St Mirren and Kilmarnock were severely reduced yesterday, then a distraction is needed.....plus Dubai.
  18. ....https://www.footballfancast.com/leicester-city-transfer-rumours/leicester-transfer-rumours-ryan-christie-celtic-brendan-rodgers Lots of speculation on Ryan's future which could result in a healthy bonus for ICT.
  19. Yogi is a great guy. He is likely to get things moving in Dingwall after a tanking by Celtic this week. Welcome home, well almost..............you have a longer cycle ride this time around........
  20. Actually feel sorry for Kettlewell and his family. This is not a good time to be out of work. I do accept that something must be wrong in Dingwall at present and sacking a manager is the consequence of a long run of results.
  21. All we want now is for Ryan to be sold to an English Premiership side in January and for the finances of the club to be strengthened. That was a polished performance last night. Kai is great to watch. Roddy must now stay grounded - his goal was top class. Harper is a competent replacement for Carl. The key was playing as a team. Deas and Divine both had very competent performances. Storey may be re-discovering himself. Keatings is pretty confident too. Who would have thought ICT would shine in pink!!!
  22. All the players worked really hard today. However, Kennedy offered something very special especially in the second half. We were very privileged to be the first fans to see a Championship game this season. Masks are brilliant - they stop 'supporters' moaning at our players. It is clap or nothing. Credit to the club for creating the facility for us to be the first guinea pigs. Credit to them for the load speaker announcements being audible and sensible. Credit to everyone who attended and respected the arrangements....and credit to the Raith team for never giving up and making this a great occasion...but no dancing in the streets of Raith tonight.
  23. Brilliant!!
  24. Just in. Donald John Grump, originally from Stornoway, has apparently issued a Tweet saying the ballot for tickets to the Raith game was rigged. He believes the Raith supporters will tomorrow be dancing in the streets of Raith. Apparently the Club did not count all season ticket holders with a mail in address. It seems Tommy our former groundsman has also been hiding details of season ticket holders to prevent Ross County being able to check to see if they have more than ICT. John Robertson's only statement is that he does not play golf on a Grump course.
  25. That question keeps cropping up.....
