  1. Curiosity got the better of me Birdie, I'm not for 1 second saying these folk were told to treat the POW's that way, and I do not know what the circumstances were and i am not saying for a second they were right in doing it. My "Told to" line was referring to why I/We were in Iraq in the first place, I went because I was told to, not for the Oil/Sand/Holy reasons, I went because I am brainless and do what I'm told.
  2. I'm not getting dragged in, I was pointing out that the lads and lassies are awaire of what the extreamists will do if they catch any of them, so some react in an overly violent way.. yes yes Two wrong dont make a right, and for the record i am not saying what they did was right but hey thats war, WE just do as we are told. In 2003 I was in Iraq and spent some time at Shiber, (Our POW camp) the few days I was there, the POW's spent most of the day eating, Praying and Playing football, I'll bet non of the general public will have seen that... just the small number of people that were treated wrong...
  3. Don't you think that the pictures from Abu Ghraib Prison in Baghdad, during Tony Blair's illegal war in Iraq, which clearly showed Iraqui people being tortured by their US captors, might just have had something to do with the radicalisation of young muslims in this country? Those "extremists" you refer to that live in the UK may very well be extremists now, but they weren't always extremists. I'm with Oz on this, the Prison pictures were/are wrong but in the same breath Ive seen some horrific treatments of those who the extreamists kidnaped you would maybe see some "exscuse" as to why some are over agressive when we have POW's... its not a reason for it but in those situations it is an exscuse. have a look at the Ken Biggley Exacution if its still on line...
  4. I always had a blue boys card, IIRC it was a fiver, however at the time a family member played n i got in with him or by saying Blue Boys to the man at the big gate. them was the days, for me howver it was the 2-2 Caley V's St Johnson game that put us on the Radar for SFL football....
  5. We are a Deterrent for nations that fancy having a pop, its the "just in case" that costs us so much, look at the Nukes the Navy have... they Deter other nations from starting on us.. like France n that.... PS Birdogs just looking for bites and is on a big wind up here !!
  6. we wouldnt be gotten rid of, just the army do things that we do.. we do stuff they do, they will be looking at what we do, and what the Army do and for example, We have TCW, Tactical Communications Wing, the Army have the royal Corp of Sigs, so they will for example be merged, they both do comms in the field so makes sence, Fleet air arm as it stands now carry RAF jets and drivers, (Harriers) the Army air corp fly Apchies, both are ment to be in a close air support roll so well more than likely lose the Harrier as the JCA will be canned before replacements for the Harrier are brought in, to the Army will Deal with the Close Air Support side of life. This is what is also bringing the Carrier Replacements in the question, the new replacement jets are too big for the MK1 drawing for them, At the end of the day the RAF drop bombs, yes yes before birdog bites so does the Fleet air arm but they are wee bombs. Its a massive subject to be discussed to b honest, but at the end of the day for me, I'll still have a job just under a differnt name.... Kinloss witll close though IMO, again thats another story...
  7. haha Yng, I love the Mrs, but also like to look at Zoo/Nuts and the slighty less pritty birds, As I do with Caley, I love the Caley, but like to have a wee peek at other teams. Keeeenoo loves The hoops but liked the Poool
  8. Caley Supporter however i am a bit of a fan (look out for the scores) for The Gunners and lossiemouth, Georgeios Jnr will play for Lossiemouth, before ICT pick him up around about 21 and then the Gunners bid for him in the 2033 Tx window, play for them for 5 years before re signing for Caley to finish of his playing days before moving in to a Coaching roll followed by a nice wee run in Europe with ICT. So during his sign on press conf, he can say his dad was a Caley fan and his Mum/Grandad and Great Grandad were Gunners so it has been a boy hood dream to play for Us and them.
  9. I will be looking for a refund if its anyone that sounds like Tich lol. Right enough!
  10. You've got a point there. Aye, but Please no1 take what i said as a pop at what the Trust did, i think thats fantastic and good/GREAT for our team to give the best chance..
  11. I Beleve once it is mathamticly impossible for us to go back up then we should i hope see some exstenciens, but by then i'm willing to bet that the likes of Hayes/Sanchez/Foran and the others will be snapped up by bigger teams if we dont act soon.
  12. I Vote Renagade! or 101. ;)
  13. hehe, I'm an ex smoker... 4 months now, Still miss it and could at any moment move back over the the dark side... Smokers smell awsome!! When i smoked and got the tuts and the likes i pointed out that the amount of tax I paid was helping shore up the Goverments Coffers, and I would die early and quickly this not costing that much, Its the health clean livers that live long (long term cost on NHS Keeping them going) and they lose the marbles and cost more long term in home helps and medication for there marbles losing.... so Smokers actually benifit the UK more then non smokers!!
  14. I agree Johnboy, its a very good thing for the Trust to do, and shows that they/we give a poop about giving the team the best start possible on the day, The only thing that bugs me about it is, the trust stump the cash for the team to be rested and better preped, and if we win, and move on, its the boards pocket that will feel the benifits and the boards arse that have the well done smoke blown up!! and the ego inflated.
  15. Wouldnt Corrupt Government be a better way to put it, after all the Scottish Government are just as Corrupt...
  16. Scotty, Thats how i took it after I had a right good think about it, and to be fair if thats what he did.. I.E Down a peg then i think TB was right to have done that, Look at how he treats those that dont put in the effort.
  17. Lets not pick holes in it, Duff did say the commute was a bit of a killer from Aberdeen to Inverness, but im sure if he got a long enough Contract he'd up sticks and move where ever. With him only being on loan here, then exstending it would leave him with a commute, TX'd here then he'd move I'm sure. That said, Commitment wise we had two players that did the run every game from Aberdeen way back in the day if i mind right. doesnt Iain V not stay that way too.
  18. not to reopen other chats, but for me it was his smug way he swaggered off after the Red card that burn his bridges with me, i was going of him before that (as a person) then he wasted time, and smirked off the pitch. however as i said on this subject, Terry blew loads of smoke up his bum with the "you'll be an awsome striker, stick with me kid I'll show you the way" then nothing from TB, does smart a wee bit for me with TB's whole PR stunts.. Rossco too, TB's, If i had a team of Rosscos, then nothing really. I think the Hipe wore off.
  19. Johnboy, Make it so, I'd print, sign an if needs be put my CTO Username and ST number on it if they wanted to check that it wasnt just some mass spaming.. However they will just think its Fan mail and ignore it....
  20. ;) I know what you mean.
  21. with his critics on his back hes going to feel that pressure too.... EH? Where did that come from ............ Need a coffee....
  22. Bit off topic but Watfords been scraping by for a while now so that'll be playing a part in it too, Bugsy him when they down fall...
  23. I think its more of a boy hood dream to play for that scum, not due to the pure quality of the SPL.
  24. Pass, but Barrowloads and Doogee were on our books as Strikers, however, we have Obi, Foran, Sanchez, Rooney, Sutherland (Recall if needed) Listed as strikers so I dont think we'd need him as a Striker, Midfield however.. "In the hole" type player he'd do a grand job i recon, with is exsperiance and ability to put a ball in.. he'd do a job along side Sanchez i recon.... Feeding Foran and Rooney. Granty, Golly, Dennis, Mcbain, Duncan, Rosco as a great back bone and teaching the newer lads... re-build tastic.
  25. HT: 0-0 FT: 0-2 1st Scorer ICT: Sanchez 1st Scorer Opp: Kyle Crowd: 3432
