Player Sponsorship 2010-11
For Oddquinne and anyone else who does not know how the sponsorship works (or at least our version) shares are up for grabs at ?10 each and you can have as many or as few as you like. Depending on how much we raise depends on what players we can sponsor. Costs as follows Home shirt ?350 + vat Away shirt ?250 + vat Training ?100 + vat Gloves ?100 + vat Boots ?100 + vat At the moment we sponsor Grant Munro - Home and Lee Cox - Training but as we have had a tremendous response this year we will be able to do another one. Not sure yet whether it will be an Away Shirt or a Training top. Then if there is any left over I usually manage to buy another shirt as an additional prize. At the end of season names of all contributors are put into a draw for the relevent shirts or gifts.(If you take two shares then you name goes in twice and so on) Hope this clarifies the position for anyone else who is interested but I do need to wrap this up within the next few weeks.

The Official World Cup Thread
Picture in today's P & J PROVING that the ball DID NOT cross the line in England's match. Maybe someone could do the linky thingy - I'm a bit thick where these things are concerned.

Off on hols soon. Feel free to add your name to this thread or make a payment and I will update the list asap when I return. We have enough pledges now to do Grant's home top and Cox's training top. We may even get enough to do another training top or boots - so come on all you people, it's only a tenner!!!

so are the real fans geting to hold the cup
Well Uncle Albert made it through the night without getting arrested. Woke up this AFTERNOON with a splitting head - not so much from the drink but from the noise coming from Doresboy who was on fine form at the game, having lubricated his vocal chords with more than a few Gins. I think I deserve a mention as a good egg, having to endure Uncle Albert, Doresboy, BigStu, Papalazaroo not to mention a few more around the tunnell. :021:

Player Sponsorship 2010-11
I must admit that most of the interest now comes from this website but I think the whole concept was started in the Innes Bar many years ago. I will reserve our sponsorship with the club but wait till later to confirm the actual wording for the sponsorship in the programme - pending comments from contributors. If anyone has an opinion on this feel free to voice it and your comments WILL be taken into consideration.

Player Sponsorship 2010-11
Thanks for setting this thread up Scotty. Yes I'm hoping to keep the cost to ?10 per share. already have interest from a few more even though it's early days. The costs of sponsorship for next season are as follows ;- Home Shirt............................?350 Away Shirt............................?250 Training Top..........................?100 Boots....................................?100 Gloves..................................?100 All plus the dreaded VAT of course. To do Grant's home shirt and Lee's training top as we did this season will cost ?530 ish, that'a with VAT at 17.5% This year there was a few pounds left over so I was able to buy an awayshirt in the sale a got that signed by the squad, so maybe I can do something similar next season. Thank you all for your support this year and I hope we can continue to support our club in this way.

PLAYER SPONSORSHIP
Went to the sponsors doo at the Stadium last night and Grant selected this years winners. We have FOUR prizes this year going to :- Scorpio60 US2 The Sponge Div1309 I will PM each individual to arrange collection/delivery of their prize. Hope you are all up for it again next year - I am sure the cost will be increased as we are in the SPL (everything has it's down side) so there will be a few more shares up for grabs. Thank you for your support this year and I hope it will continue next season. If no one has any objections we will go with Grant again and Cox training top if we have the same support. Thanks again GUZZ

PT game in jeopardy?
Uncle Albert's just back from the stadium after a two hour stint. Still some work to do but he's leaving the rest to the youngsters. About 30 down there doing a good job, including TB, the ref and assistants. UA had a word with Ian McColl to TELL him we wanted the points today. He said he would see what he COULDN'T do. Looks like the game will go ahead, ref gave the nod.
