It does not matter what they eat on the bus coming home as long as it's plenty food to soak up the beer when they go out on the lash after they get home

Is it Fort William from the Onich side?
Yes that's it, I wonder if they have done anything with the old school that has been shored up for years.

If Strachan failed to pick Graham Shinnie at his best then there is no chance of Strachan picking an ICT player ever. In fact, given that he still fails to select players from the only Premiership club with a 100% record, there is a fat chance of him picking anyone playing north of the central belt.
I don't think he was being serious Kingsmills

I would settle for locking them in a room for two hours with a continuous tape loop of Proclaimers records
That would be just great Charles the Proclaimers are great

I think this has just about been done to death with all views fully aired.
We have an important match tomorrow. Maybe time to unite, whatever our differences of opinion, and concentrate on the football.
Is there a match on tomorrow? Who would have thought

It was last night apparently. We won 6-0 with Oakley and Tremarco both getting doubles.
Might be an idea to play Tremarco as a striker

Eirene,
you could try the Highland Archive Centre Inverness on the following link who might be able to help,
https://www.highlifehighland.com/highland-archive-centre/
another place might be the Highlanders Museum on the following link, who cover the Cameron and Seaforth Highlanders which amalgamated in 1961 to form the Queens Own Highlanders. The Camerons and Seaforth recruited mainly from the highlands and islands so there may have been some of the Mackay family in these regiments.

Just a coincidence I started work for British Telecom from 1975 and knew another linesman called James Mackay who was based in Inverness but he retired in the 80's.

It's not that bad. From Scotland's perspective it makes no difference if Slovakia win or draw. A draw would be fine for Scotland so you don't have to hope for an England win. In fact, a draw would be the best result for Scotland as it also opens up the possibility of catching England and actually winning the group. Given the way England laboured against Malta on Friday, a boring draw is maybe the most likely result.
Thanks for that DD you are the "font of all knowledge" DD I will get a better sleep tonight now

I always hope for the best but fear the worst.......
If we can get out of this group, it will be tremendous after the poor start, but there is a lot of water to flow under a lot of bridges.
A win tomorrow night with England doing us a favour will do nicely for starters!
Oh FFS do we have to support England tomorrow night

Yeah - I'm a former Jaggie (although I wasn't a regular attendee at Kingsmills..), but I can shout 'Caley' at the games now...!
There are not many Jaggies do that Can you stand up and shout it louder at the next game

Well at least there is something happening on this thread compared to the lack of action on the transfer window

A very interesting move down South with Marvin Johnston moving from Oxford to Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee thought to be somewhere between £2-3million. The interesting bit is that when Motherwell sold Johnson to Oxford they apparently managed to include a 25% sell on clause. That means that Motherwell will now get up to £750,000 in their coffers for a player who isn't on their books. That is good business.
With our fan base, we are always going to have to accept that when players develop here they will be looking to move on. It should perhaps be a policy for the Board to look to include a sizeable sell on clause when selling younger players with the potential to develop further.
You are right DD I hope that was done when we sold Ryan Christie to Celtic as I think he will go on much further in his career but I don't think that would have been done.

He's injured is he not?
I think he is sometimes might be a bit like some guys I used to know who would have a sore back when there was work to be done

He got a lot of stick last season along with most of the team because they were sh1te. Although he is not my favourite player I am delighted he has improved again this season.

The club was more than happy when it was getting thousands from when Fon Williams was away at the Euros. Fon Williams has a contract and he's more than within his rights to want it to be honoured. And why should he look for something new? He has gotten himself a good deal and made the club plenty of money - he's well within his rights to sit tight, I know I would.
Unfortunately that's another mistake that they made, should have kept Brill instead

Surely if OFW has any self respect, he will be looking to find another club ASAP - suprised to hear that he has turned down offers already, seems strange to me - is he trying to take us for a ride? I fear so..
I fear you are right monty!
