  1. I would estimate about 2-3k. I bought a 1973 Ford Capri in 1976 for £1100 which I think was just over 2k new.
  2. VW Camper van for sale.
  3. Merry Christmas to all on the forum regulars and lurkers. I wish you and your families all the best for the festive season however you are celebrating hopefully with good food and wine or whatever your tipple is and I hope Santa is good to you
  4. I think you are right the way Dunc talked about his offer and his family commitments I think he will get a better offer nearer home. If that happens we will have to find another gem!
  5. It would have been nice to get a late winner but we will have to save that for another day. An improvement from last week.
  6. Goal Partick, we need another one now
  7. It was Anderson with Mckay assist great start
  8. Goal...........Billy Mckay
  9. I hope the weather is a bit better in Glasgow for our travelling supporters, anything from this game would be good for us after last week and if we could steal three points that would be great.
  10. I was speaking to a guy that I worked with who was brought up in old Hilton today and he went to the school beside the orphanage before Hilton Primary opened in 1957. I showed him the photo and he said there was a bell tower although the school bell was rung by hand.
  11. Here is one from my old family photos, my father with the Albion Reiver that he drove in the early 60's transporting timber from Glenmoriston with Ardachy Lodge, Fort Augustus in the background which was a haunted ruin. It was used for family transport on occasions during the holidays when we would spend a week or two at my grandparents in Dalwhinnie and after being down south all week my Dad would collect the family on the way home. My mother in the passenger seat with my baby brother on her knee, my younger sister standing or sitting on the floor in front of her, my two older sisters and myself sitting on the engine cover with me at the back helping to change gear Our luggage was tied on the platform with rope, what an adventure And here is the interior of an Albion Reiver.
  12. That's not much help to old caley girl Robert. I thought you might have popped through last night and had a look over the wall
  13. Sad to hear this, although I did not know him personally I always enjoyed reading his posts on the forum.

  14. Nice machine although it will be even more big bucks to buy! HIS have a Buzz van in the town fine for local deliveries.
  15. Lucky none of the kids fell out, no seatbelts back then
  16. Three trialists playing in a closed door friendly against Nairn County tonight.
  17. I am sure they were happy memories your own VW campervan! They were very basic compared to the ones about now although you would have had all you needed. There are still a lot on the road and if you are looking at one in perfect condition it will set you back a lot of money. Must have been a good summer in 1968 the grass is burnt and I bet you had Fish & Chips and lots of ice cream which was likely a treat On the other cars a new Vauxhall Viva Mk2 an old Ford Popular and I think the black one behind is a Vauxhall Cresta.
  18. After our poor performance and result yesterday here is a bit of 'seething' to cheer you up. 'It's rubbish' - Adams slams Premiership quality - BBC Sport
  19. I looked out the window when you posted this and it was a beautiful morning here but your forecast was right! Not a good day for the football but we will have to be at our best to get the three points. Loose today and we are likely to get another rant from bishbashbosh
  20. Although not directly linked to the battery farm, from the P&J today.
  21. From the P&J today.
  22. Inverness Caledonian Thistle Women will face a somewhat different challenge this weekend – hosting Dutch outfit Leeuwarder Zwaluwen. The match will take place at the Highland Football Academy in Dingwall due to pitch availability, kicking off at noon on Sunday. It has come about thanks to a connection through Caley Jags defender Janina Morgan, who is half-Dutch and has connections with the north second tier outfit – step five of the overall Dutch women's football pyramid.
  23. We are up to 5th place and the game has just kicked off
  24. Good to see Roddy MacGregor on the bench.
