I think you are right the way Dunc talked about his offer and his family commitments I think he will get a better offer nearer home. If that happens we will have to find another gem!

I was speaking to a guy that I worked with who was brought up in old Hilton today and he went to the school beside the orphanage before Hilton Primary opened in 1957. I showed him the photo and he said there was a bell tower although the school bell was rung by hand.

Here is one from my old family photos, my father with the Albion Reiver that he drove in the early 60's transporting timber from Glenmoriston with Ardachy Lodge, Fort Augustus in the background which was a haunted ruin. It was used for family transport on occasions during the holidays when we would spend a week or two at my grandparents in Dalwhinnie and after being down south all week my Dad would collect the family on the way home.
