The new manager thread
I hear the 35k compo that Alloa wanted was a major problem. I heard that this was not the issue, more the FACT that Hartley would not be happy to relocate to the Highlands, therefore looks to me like lack of commitment.

The new manager thread
Jeez, the end is nigh!!! The board of ICT have interviewed the applicants they wished to talk too, they have decided for the way ahead for ICT to select John Hughes, they knew best to pick Butcher, Yogi obviously came across as the one with all the right answers, and if that's what they wanted that's ok by me. Will you have a coffee and suck in some fresh air and calm down!

The new manager thread
Press conference at the stadium on or just after 2.30pm, i'm not worried about Hughes becoming manager, he' got what it takes for us, and will be committed Oh, stumbling block with Hartley was seemingly his reluctance to relocate up here, wanted to stay south with family.

CJT cup semi final statement
He should be made to cycle up the A9 naked with a gorse saddle. We should all agree that everyone who attends the game to keep every receipt for petrol/food/accom/train/bus etc and make up an invoice and send it to Doncaster.

CJT cup semi final statement
Did they actually listen, or was it just a 'pat on the head' exercise? knowing fine that they were not going to alter anything about the fixture!

Think there was still a problem with him and his Scotland contract, he is still getting money from SFA, Until he gats another job of course, but if the job offer is way less money he will lose out. Vinnie used to have a house on the black Isle near Munlochy, don't know if he still has it though!

CJT cup semi final statement
The SPFL will as normal totally ignore us and our concerns, it would be nice for someone to come forward and at least apologise to our club and fans regarding this issue - don't hold your breath though!

Inverness CT -V- Kilmarnock
Agree with most of the stuff above, but nobody seems to mention how well Nick Ross played, he was very good and possibly the best he's played for a while, however like the rest of the team, he ran out of steam after an hour. Doran was well involved and was our main threat to Killie who in the first half looked very poor. Must have been the conditions because the passing was very poor, with a lot of moves breaking down quite quickly, Meekings was superb -how long can we keep him? Watkins i'm afraid, does not do it for me, wasted a lot of balls with poor passes and despite his size/pace cant get passed defenders, subbed after 70 and Williams looks a more dangerous player. Tremarco is another who will be dropped pretty quickly when Raven comes back next week, not much of a player and pretty ordinary, booked for a feckin stupid studs up slide tackle. All in all a great 3 points considering our extra time cup efforts midweek.

Observations: Mantis sent me a text from Nacimiento wanting updates - where the feck is that? Adams is a complete ***. Macgregor will blame anyone but himself, even farmer Fraser for turning on his kettle at halftime causing a surge in power!, and if he claims the fault was outwith the stadium, how did every other electrical device(including the pitch length electronic advertising board) not get affected? and why were stewards running about getting the food shops to turn everything off? Knew Raven was out but didn't see Tremarco and Shinnie swapping sides, Shinnie did ok but is not a right back for sure. Watkins needs a lot of heading practice - counted 4-5 high balls directed to him that he completely missed, might have been better throwing him a space hopper. Warren and Meekings are excellent. Foran had a complete off day - hardly any passes he made were completed. Nick did not do feck all, apart from a fresh air shot when in on goal. Thought, despite what gobshyte said we were the better team, looked more dangerous, and more likely to win the game. Anyway, was not a good day out, car spashed a puddle all over me jeans, had to drive the mini bus-so no beer before the game, planned after game sesh was cancelled by a call from the missus saying she needed picked up as she'd had a few too many drinks, so no after match beverage.... sigh

Inverness C.T. -V- Partick Th
Now I've had a coffee and calmed doon a bit, I can give my thoughts: Thought Greenhalgh was poor, did not show any skills that could really help us, just a squad player - no more, thought Billy Mac was pretty poor, or was his supply non existent? There did not seem to much on our left wing between Shinnie/Shytehalgh never saw Shinnie get up the park once during the game, so our efforts to get men behind the defence and fire balls across to BM were few and far between. What the F was going on for our 3 free kicks at the edge of the box first half? PATHETIC is the only word I can use to describe our attempts from a decent distance out, for these guys not to even hit the target from 25 yds is a real shock - do they actually practice dead ball shooting?? Suppose we didn't really deserve 3 points but the truly inept officials did their best to feck up out chances anyway. Hope Watkins starts on Friday because his strength and running will surely be needed.
