  4. Scotland v France 1-2 France should be the stronger team being realistic, but with home advantage for the scots you never know, have to go for an away win though. England v macedonia 2-0 Id have thought it Should be England but expect it to be a no frills win. Wales v slovakia 2-2 Wales are capable of a result if there at there best. Cyprus v Rep Ire 1-1 Dont really know how to call this one, but with the Irish passion you never know. Denmark v N Ire 2-2 Think the Northern Irish could take all 3 points on there day but going for the draw.

    NEW SONG

***** everytime i open my mouth i give the game away :012:
  6. Cheerleaders now thats a great ideal Alex.....if the club could get hold of the cheerleaders from Worchester rugby club i could guarentee anothers 2000 hot bloody males per game just to see them, come to think about it probably get a fair sprinkling of hot blooded females turn up as well. This can only be good for the game :001:
  7. A bagpipe is what becomes of a Pag pipe after copious amounts of alchaol are consumed and in that state i recon i could play it with any part of my anatomy. Ill leave that one to be answered by FW. over to YOU. :016:
  8. Ill be there in spirit...if not body................being kept fully updated cheering from the west country of England.
  9. After the home win last Sat (all be it a scrappy affair) i think any result other than a loss at Ibrox will be a great platform for the next 2 games and yes i can see a good possibility of 7 from 9 points being a realistic target....ok that might mean getting 3 points next Sat, but why not. Macca :crap01:

    NEW SONG

Could any of those tunes be accompanied by the pipes?
  11. The point Sneckfan makes is mirrored around the streets of Inverness, you dont tend to see many ICT shirts other than match days...thats sad, Rangers & Celtic shirts yes. Its a sad fact. As Gringo said the kids are the key, Gotta get the mind set of the kids, get into the schools encourage and identify with the kids, what better players than Tokely with all his appearences for the club or maybe Dargo with his goals to get around the schools, maybe even do some training sessions after school(ok i know the players need to be focused on their game and the priority is to win games but surely as employees of the club it would do no harm to get out there, the long term benifits must be worth the effort) kids are very impressionable as we know, i know if either of these players came to my sons local school, he would come home and tell me wow dad Ross Tokely/Craig Dargo came to our school today and we played football, can we go to watch on Saturday.
  12. What the club has to do is try to create an attitude or belief that they are more than just a football club in Inverness, ICT needs to become part of the community integrate as much as possible. Its a good ideal to ask the fans what ideals they have got to help achieve this because i believe that the fans views are all too easily dismissed when decisions are made in football, i dont believe that football fans in general are given credit for what they know or where supporting their team is concerned, we watch football week in week out some of us play football and lets face it a win on a Saturday is a great start to the weekend on the other hand loose it all together a different matter. So a few ideals. Hand out some leaflets and ask for ideals on this subject at the game. to be posted in a box on the way out. Reward the best ideals, ie free ticket for a home match.(these two should make a big difference in attitude, it will make the fans feel that they have an input, and that there opinion is valued) How about getting a penalty competition going for the kids at half time or some other activety, say keeping the ball up as many time as possible. could extend to the dads, also entertains the crowd...hopefully. Get posters up in the shops around town telling everyone who the team are playing next at home, please come down support us we need you type thing. Promote half time penalty shoot out this weekend for kids. Use the players more get the fringe players/subs out chatting to the kids/visiting the schools etc giving out signed posters maybe. Make more of the reserve games have a few first teamers there who are not playing to meet fans for signatures, give out posters, pens Well thats just a quick thought before tea. Dmacca
  13. Nothing worse than perceived lack of thought or professionism, it don't matter weather it is the quality of the pies or the stewards or what ever it reflects on the whole club, a mistake which prevents the incomming revenue of the club is unforgivable in my opinion.
  14. Have mentioned before on here that have recently dug out an old album by Big Country called Why the long face, had forgotton how good an album this is, it is very Scottish orientated music for me, stadium music for sure with use of a piece of equipement i believe is called an Ebow that makes a pag pipe like sound. I recon theres plenty of motivational music on here that would be excellant music for ICT to run out to at the TCS. Anybody heard this album or anybody think of any other music for motivation.
  15. Nice to hear your back J, thanking you again for the Hibees game, kids ok? Dmacca
  16. Today it was essential we won the game regardless of how it was won, its a fact that playing pretty football does'nt guarantee a win, this home form thing was beginning to become a noose around the neck, but no doubt about it recent reports have suggested that the footy ain't been that pretty...this deffo needs addressing...but for now 3 points was the order of the day. Bring on the Rangers >:D
  17. YAHOO....................OH ***** IS THAT COPYWRITE Off for a celabratory beer.
  18. Gringo 6-0 would be wonderland.........but 1-0 would have the desired effect lets split the diff and go for 3-0, should be worth a few celabratory beers post match !!
  19. Surely if nothing else the law of averages mean we gotta break the winning duck today, the players should have been made aware/are aware that a win today is essencial with regards to going to Rangers next game, breaking the home win duck should hopefully lift a bit of wieght off of there shoulders and spread a bit of confidence for a tough away game, then who knows what might happen.
  20. If we could get back to back wins on the board things would look a whole lot better, that is all it takes and obviously could be achieved in 8 days.....seems simple really !!
  21. Well done lads wanted a 3 pointer but a draw gotta be a good realistic away result, lets go on and get that 3 points at home against DA next week and hopefully kick on, all doom and gloom im afraid from my home town club but thats another story, will have a few drinks tonight on what sounds like a good away point for ICT. Onwards and upwards. Dmacca
  22. Agree whole heartedly with that Johnboy have to say though that Johnsmiths wouldnt be the top of my list ale.....
  23. Best of luck mate LOL
  24. As usual dont matter whats gone before its that time on a match day when i get all optimistic, thinking we'll just shade it today, then first 3 points at home next week......things will be looking alot more rosy. go do it boys!!
  25. Dont suppose itll be the first Aussie accent heard in the Innes......Have a good one mate remember my first visit with my broad bristol accent.........adds interest. Macca
