  1. Many congratulations to all concerned. 19 games unbeaten is a wonderful feat.
  2. I don't think there's any need to be concerned. There's no doubt that the trophy will be presented on the 1st of May at the TCS.
  3. Agree that Rory is likely to be a success at SPL level in the future but, then again, when I first saw Martin Bavidge when he made his ICT debut as a 16 year old I predicted that he would be playing for Scotland within 4 years !
  4. Top league of Rangers and Celtic inlicting their bile on nobody else 32 times a season with two leagues of 16 below that.
  5. On the other hand, they will be anxious to secure a top 4 finish wich means they will gain entry to the 4th round of the cup next season.
  6. I BELIEVE even more than that ! Ihave a hunch that the league will be ours by Saturday evening.
  7. The latter. Those old enough to recall our Third Division triumph will remember that we had the title wrapped up well before the end of the season but the trophy was actually presented only at the end of the final game. As I recall Forfar rained on that particulae parade by beating us something like 4-1.
  8. The bottom line is that if we win on saturday and Dundee fail to win it would take an extraordinary sequence of results to deprive us of the title. In effect we would be champions in all but name. If we win and Dundee lose with County not winning, whether they lose or draw, we will in fact be champions. The champagne corks could well be popping at the TCS by ten to five on Saturday. The vital part of the equation is that we take care of the one thing in our own hands by beating the Pars !
  9. Has he not made it clear he wants to return to the central belt ?
  10. With my eleven year old son a keen Dons supporter despite my best efforts, there would be very mixed emotions in the Kingsmills household were we to pass Aberdeen on the way back up ! Still, on balance I'd rather see Falkirk fall through the trap door.
  11. Indeed they were. Enjoy your day out at the final.
  12. I'd be interested in hearing how you define old school supporter. I certainly regard myself as old school but am pleased to hold a very different attitude to these two.
  13. I'd love the glamour and excitement of a cup final but from a long term point of view County's cup run will net them a one off windfall in the region of ?700,000 but, even with the reduced TV deal, SPL membership is worth more than ?1,000,000 every season with a guarantee of a further ?250,000 parachute payment even in the event of relegation.
  14. Congratulations, well deserved but he's going to be hard pushed to beat Derek Adams to the April award !
  15. Can't see the final attracting more than about 30,000. Even if they do qhalify for the Europa Cup I can see that actually costing County financially rather than earning them a fortune depending on which team they draw in the preliminary round.
  16. I will be taking my children to Hampden to witness a Highland side contest a national cup final. I heartily wish it was ICT but we will be supporting our near neighbours and fellow Highlanders.
  17. We have maintained our points advantage over Dundee and improved our goal difference relative to them with only three games to play now. All in all not a bad day.
  18. Today's victory in Dumfries means that our final match of the season against Dundee will be significant, either it will be the league decider or a victory celebration with the trophy presented to an already victorious ICT. Tickets have been on sale for some time and are selling steadily. If you haven't got your brief yet it might be prudent to do so sooner rather than later.
  19. By 7 points no less !
  20. Two horse race now in my opinion.
  21. Delighted for the second time by a late equaliser for Ross County. Perfect evening. Messi 4 Arsenal 1
  22. Mission accomplished, a County equaliser would round the evening off nicely.
  23. County and Queens still level. Suits us fine.
  24. Should bring Morton out of their shell and make for a more open game which will hopefully suit us.
