Dundee's relentless march to the title.....
I agree Heiandee. I'd much rather we'd hit the front on the final day. The pressure's allm on ICT now.
-
Amongst the jubilation, a lil realism
Three points on Tuesday will knock the stuffing out of County, especially with their semi final coming up, leaving a straight fight between ourselves and Dundee.

Couldn't have asked for a better set of results today. Now is the time to hold our nerve. I just hope we haven't hit the front too soon.

Don't speak too soon this season, like last, could still end in final day heartbreak.

Dundee's relentless march to the title.....
I'm begining to think that it may just be possible to reel in Dundee's seemingly unassailable lead !

Countys stadium
The SPL sensibly relaxed their rules for us to allow us to move back to Inverness mid season. I can't think of any good reason why they shouldn't allow ounty a bit of lattitude to make their ground compliant over the summer should they be fortunate enough to win the league.

The County Bounty
Think that ?300,000 will be pretty close to the mark.

The County Bounty
Even if your figures were accurate ( which I doubt ) then say 15 000 at Utd semi plus 35 000 at County semi @ ?25 a ticket = ?1 250 000 in gate receipts to be split 4 ways = ?312 500 each , add in the Sky money and prize money then your getting close to ?500k . Obviously all the figures are hypothetical at the moment. Is it not the case all gate reciepts, TV monies, merchandise etc are all pooled. But the figures what ever they are, will be split 5 ways. SFA will need to get their cut, further reducing any income. So using your logic the SFA will get 1/3 of the finals gate receipts as well ? No, I believe the figure remains 20%

The County Bounty
Gross perhaps but there are very significant expenses to be deducted including the SFA share of income.

Just how do you construct your criticism ?

Closer to half of that I suspect. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nty/8586015.stm Don't believe everything you hear on the BBC !

County for the final then. Lennon hardly has a distinguished record against Highland clubs in this competition !

The County Bounty
Fans of Ross County must have been saddened by last night's "shock" result from Tannadice. Firstly; many will be upset that the team they genuinely follow follow have been knocked out of the competition. Moreover; with semi final income being pooled and shared between the four clubs reaching that stage, the fact that one semi is now unlikely to attract a crowd much above five figures means that their anticipated income from their Hampden outing will be reduced by a good fifty or sixty thousand pounds.

Signings For Next Season
Much depends on which league we will be in.

What the bookies say
Have to agree that County look good value at 9-1.

Great set of results last night. Also pleased for County, apart from anything else it means that they have one more match to make up. They will be out of gas by the end of the league season !

Dundee's relentless march to the title.....
Dundee's hammering today at the hands of the worst team in the division must have done little for their confidence not to mention their goal difference !
-
Ross County -V- ICT : matchday thread
A fairly poor affair but the bottom line is that both teams are a point closer tothe top of the table. I believe that Q.O.S. are probably now out of the running leaving an increasingly tight finish between the two Highland teams, Dundee and Dunfermline.

'Mon the Ayr!
Indeed. I have always thought they will win the title. Nothing has changed but last nights result certainly makes it more interesting. I agree, the title is still Dundee's to lose.
