Tonight we play Wick Academy in the semi final of the North of Scotland Cup. Game to be played at Harmsworth Park, Wick with a 7:30 kick off, anyone attending? Guess it will be the usual mix of youth and fringe players playing. The winners of this game will play either Forres or Nairn in the final.

Well done to Tuffey for getting the call up. Hopefully there is a lot more call ups for him in the future.

Well we shouldn't worry to much if Clach's strips are anything to go by as they have being done pretty well and they have the same sponsor as ourselves. Heres their home and away strips: Clach Home Away strip

Got a feeling this game is going to be a chance for the younger players to get a full game while the first team will be playing Elgin, but then again I could be wrong and the teams may be a mix of first/youth and trialists in both teams.

I think the new top looks great. Very modern and to be honest I prefer it much more than the home top. Will certainly be buying it.

Renegade I like your style. Thats the sort of formation we should use against Hamilton. Lionel will rip Hamiltons defence a new ******** and earn himself a place beside Henry in the French National Team as he scores a utterly outstanding 35 goals in the last 6 games of the season to earn himself the title of Europes best striker. Later wins World Cup and Champions League with Caley Thistle. However I think that formation along with my comment are best kept in dreamland as it just wont happen. Would like to see a 4-3-3 formation with Morais, Ohiambo and Foran the strikers with Black, Kerr and Imrie in midfield. That way we would have an attacking line up without killing ourselves :thumb04: Foran and Morais can come back into midfield if needed.

This maybe a crazy stab in the dark but if we are looking for a natural goal scorer then maybe taking in Rhys Griffiths from Llanelli in the Welsh Premier. He was Europes leading goalscorer last season (I know it was in the welsh league) but he has also scored 27 goals already this season and he has scored for wales at all youth levels and semi pro level. He has also scored goals in Europe including a hatrick against Vetra Vilnius who beat Hibernian a few seasons back and who played Blackburn Last season in Europe. We found a good defender from Lativa which has a very poor league so who says we cant find a good striker from a poor league. He is worth a shout. Stats: Player stats Just to say we would never have a chance in getting Jason Scotland as he has been one of the most prolifric strikers in the English Leagues for the last few seasons he has been with Swansea. Would say Daryl Duff is not a bad shout though.

We won this competition last year with an under 19 side. Went and seen the last years game against Clach in the North of Scotland Cup and Zander Sutherland and Alan Morgan both played and scored in a 4,1 win. It was the Clach first team out that day also. Got to say I was sleeping till Marius came on I have never being so exited in seeing a player come off the bench. Some week for Caley players on the international front with Marius playing France and with Hastings having played 90 minutes against Brazil for Canada.

Has to be the 4,3 result against Aberdeen i thought we had them that time a victory against them next season will keep me happy.

A shame to see Denzil leave this way but he was not SPL quality but I still would like to thank him for his contribution to many of my happy Caley memories. Good luck to him wherever he goes.

I don't think Denzil is up to SPL standards this season has just proved this and even with a quality striker partnering him this season he still does not seem to be in about the goals and sadly i think it is time for him to move on and let the likes of Rory and maybe a new striker to take his place.

I think Vigurs and Zander Sutherland could be great players for us in years to come maybe next year even but im still not too sure of Rory he still needs to play a few more full games before i can make a fair judgement of him maybe he can be loaned out for the first half of next season to a first division club like Zander was and see how he performs.

I agree about the fact that Rossco has not been a good right back but Rossco has played his best in midfield this season. I would rather have Rossco on the wing next season than Paatelinen.

I have been hearing from some people that Caley will be playing Liverpool pre season for Barry Wilsons Testimonial.

Why not aim for Europe. Look at Aberdeen they are of the same abiltiy and they got third last season and are now preparing to play Bayern Munich. We could be in Europe if we keep up the way we play. Apart from the Old firm everyone is about the same level so nothings impossible. I would be happy with getting in the top six but don't count out Europe this season the league is very close.

In the Highland news today it says we are signing a lad from Derry City called Darren Kelly who a number of SPL clubs were after he is a midfeilder. Also it says we are going to offload a midfeild player to accomadate him i think it is Alan Morgan.
