  1. Rory McAllister has a shocker for Brechin in that game B) Maybe time to rest up Foran, put on Barrowman for a bit of confidence? Great to see the goal difference get bumped up a bit today. Shame the club are going to have to shell out so many goal bonuses!
  2. I watch that quite often for a bit of Bobby Mann nostalgia!
  3. They do.... Ayr United FC TV You need to be a member though. ?2.49 for a weekly pass. For the price of a pint, you can see the goals... tempting!
  4. Where you getting them from? here
  5. Here's text updates from Ayr... here...
  6. Don't suppose Ayr are one of these teams with match highlights on their website?
  7. Mental! Love it! Can't believe I decided to stay at home today instead of making the trip to Ayr :(
  8. Can we put out this team in our home matches please!?
  9. No Twitter feed today?
  10. Anyone know if the trains have powerpoints for laptops in the economy class? Still dithering on whether to make the trip, as i've still got quite a bit of work to do before School starts again on Monday. I understand the First Class sections do, but i'm going to be using the more prudent 'Return for ?15' ticket from Sainsburys. If there is access to power, i'll definitely make it down!

Didn't Dale Gillespie sign for Nairn?
  12. Thinking about it... IF I manage to get a heap of work done in the next few days, i'll treat myself to a ?15 return train ticket to Ayr
  13. I was watching Peterhead's highlights the other day, to see how the likes of Rory McAllister and Bobby Mann were getting on in the Peterhead v. Brechin match. Very simple to record and edit by the looks of things.
  14. Considering there is no reserve league this year, i'd imagine these bounce games will become a regular thing.
  15. Sorry Bambi... -x-
  16. I thought he was very poor. Contributed nothing going forward or defending in the first half; struggling to even get a touch of the ball. In the second half he was more heavily involved, but still struggled to beat his man; instead letting Rossco make the forward runs. Would much rather the likes of Imrie or Hayes playing there.

Good to see him getting another callup. I watched the Scotland v. N.Ireland Victory shield game the other month and was not impressed at all with the standard of the Scotland players. In previous years i've taken an interest in these games, as i've taught a few of the players; and every year there's been some real quality on the pitch. Fraser Fyvie, Ryan Jack (Aberdeen) and John Fleck (Rangers) have really bossed the midfield. Unfortunately I had to miss the 2nd half, where Polworth came on and influenced a 2-1 win for Scotland, after being 0-1 down at half time. Hopefully he did enough to impress for a start against Wales; as the Scotland starting midfielders were terrible from what I saw.
  18. Pretty much exactly how I saw the game. A few other things I noticed: Golly has forgotten how to pass the ball. He had some terrible passes which went straight to opposition players or right out of play. Wasn't impressed at all. Munro had a very solid game, mopping up a lot of the mistakes that the likes of Bulvetis and Golly were making. Hayes was again very dangerous on the ball and willing to chase back when the opposition were attacking. Really glad to have him in the team. We were very very lucky not to concede a penalty when Russell 'dived'. I thought there was definite contact. Despite scoring, Proctor offers absolutely nothing going forward. He'd chicken out of running forward with the ball or taking on his man. which resulted in losing possession all too often. We need to practice the art of taking throw-ins quickly. I've never seen 2 teams take soooo... long to take a throw!! Time and time again! Very happy with the 3 points, and delighted that the first game I took the new missus to had a goal and subsequent win

Does she really give you points for your performance?

I know, it sounds awful doesn't it!? I had booked the train ticket a few weeks ago for travelling by myself. But then the missus had her holiday fall through, so she invited herself along and suggested we stay the night. I've never taken a girl to the football before, so this could be a complete disaster... especially with the way ICT are playing at the moment! *Insert joke about scoring on tuesday here*

I'm heading down with my new missus, who's never been to a football game before. Making a night of it and staying in a hotel in Kirkcaldy afterwards... Really hoping for a decent performance and 3 points; otherwise I could find myself single again!
