Pre-season Friendlies - Announced
I'll only manage the Huntly and Brechin games this year, due to being up the West Coast for the first 2 weeks of July, then Japan from the 21st-9th August and then Oslo for the Scotland game for the 10th-13th. First time i'll have been at Brechin's ground though, so that's something to look forward to :D

ICT's Forgotten Heroes
I'm sure I saw Ally McDonald playing for Elgin City earlier this season as a left midfielder. Guy Kerr and Andy McNulty were also playing in that match.

ICT's Forgotten Heroes
ICAT is on bail, he might be back next season depending on how good he is :D he is! Elgin Academy 6th Year v Elgin Academy Teachers. McNulty in Teachers goals. I could do much better and im not even good at keeping. At least when i go to pick up the ball, i dont miss it and goes straight through my legs and into the goal :) Ha! I never realised that McNulty played in a game for the teachers. Must remember to ask my dad (Mr Paterson) about that one :D

Alba Cup Draw
Can't believe it! I've a good mate who's a Montrose diehard; just off the phone to him discussing the trip up for the game, then I realised i'm in Japan at the time! Gah!

Free Bus To Game?
You're a teacher aren't you, fully refreshed and reinvigorated thanks to study leave. You should be able to hop to the ground? :D :D :D :D That is very true!! I even have an in-service day today, which has given me extra chance to take it easy ahead of tomorrow's excitement. Unfortunately for the last few years i've been roped into playing in 3 different 5-aside teams in Aberdeen who play every week, as well as having a weekly kickabout with mates. This means I can never consider myself 'refreshed and reinvigorated'! I've been putting off the ankle surgery, so I can enjoy a 3 week summer holiday in Japan followed by Norway v. Scotland trip. As soon as that is out of the way i'll 'hop' onto the surgeons table.

Doddsy's Prediction
I bumped into Dodds at the Scotland v. Iceland game and let him know in no uncertain terms that he seems to have a grudge against Caley. Didn't get a response surprisingly :021:

Free Bus To Game?
As topic title suggests... My ankle is knackered from last night's 5 asides, so i'm nae managing to walk this one! :blah01:

One More Sleep!
Counting down the hours at my Aberdeen workplace just now, before a quick drive home to pick up my bags and set Sky+ to record the game. Then a bus back to Elgin to catch up with a few mates over many pints; which should help me have a full night's sleep! Train from Elgin just before 10am which will get us into town before 11am. Pints, then try to work out if there is still a free bus (?) or get a taxi. After damaging ankle ligaments last night, there is no chance I'll be able to walk up to the stadium for this one!

Cheap Prices For Next Week
Mine arrived today, after ordering on the Sunday :) I've always found the ticket office service nothing short of brilliant. Excellent customer service, in addition to efficient process and delivery

Referee Against Falkirk
I don't think we can draw, with Falkirk losing? *I know what you meant though :P

Falkirk Roll Call
You might be on to something there. It wouldn't suprise me if this was the case. It will be the case, but good on them for trying to encourage people to buy their tickets early without having to use financial incentive. It's fairly obvious that there'll be less hassle for ICT ticket office to have people arrive at the stadium for a 12.30pm kick off (!) already with ticket in hand, rather than arrive at 12.25 and moan they have to wait in a pay at the gate queue. I've put on countless gigs for touring bands over the years and used the exact same tactics to shift tickets quickly, mainly to ensure I've covered costs or to receive cash quickly in order to pay venues/sound engineers/bands before the gig begins. In most cases it gets an extra 10-15% of people who were coming anyway to buy their ticket a lot earlier. There's no way why this shouldn't be a sellout (in the home end at least), since we've done it countless times before in games v. the Old Firm. I'm not niave (sp?) enough to suggest everyone in our home ends were ICT fans on those occasions, but i'd like to think that they consider ICT a second team or at least would support us in staying up so that they can see their big team again! Back on topic, I shall be joining the same train that RobsonisGod is on with a few tins of lager concealed somewhere upon my person. Will then head to the pub (not sure which one yet) before trying to catch the free bus (is it running?) or try to share a taxi to the game. Not getting the train back to Elgin/Aberdeen till 6pm on the saturday, which leaves plenty of time to celebrate (hopefully!) in the Sneck, before getting another carry out for the train back :P

Battle Stations!
Same one as you but i'm getting on at Elgin, as i'll stay over at my folks on the Friday night.
-
Falkirk Roll Call
I'll be on that train as well, but joining at Elgin; since i'll crash at my folks on the friday night. My carry out will be carefully concealed within the holdall for our TA Flag i'm bringing; as i've seen ridiculous amounts of alcohol confiscated by the police on match days for ICT v. Dons, from people joining at Elgin Me plus my Dons supporting dad.

Cheap Prices For Next Week
I'd like to think so, but i'd imagine there'll be a few hundred seats in the uncovered section of main stand free. Either way it should be our biggest non Old Firm attendance since a Dons game a few years ago which broke the 7k barrier... I think.

Cheap Prices For Next Week
I won't use my role as a Business Education teacher to go into too much details about Supply and Demand... but there is no point in changing prices for our game next week. Especially when we've already offered discounted entry for the block 4 home game package released last month, in addition to games against the likes of Hamilton earlier in the season. We want to attact people to buy season tickets next season, and if we keep dropping prices randomly then our current season ticket holders will start to feel that they are getting short changed... and rightly so! Securing relegation on our own patch, on the last day of the season would be PRICELESS. Screw the ?5 or so that some are thinking we should reduce prices by...

Who's The Best Player You've Ever Seen
Because of the games i've been to with Scotland over the last 8 years or so, i've been lucky to see Argentina, France, Holland, Germany, Italy and the like. The players that had an absolute stormer and really made me worried every time they were on the ball were: Seedorf (who played 45 mins in the match we won 1-0) Tevez (in the friendly we got beat 1-0 in last year) Ribery (in the Paris match we won 1-0)

Time To Drop Black
I may be wrong, but that will have been our last game with it since we're bringing out a white away kit in the summer... Didn't we beat Rangers at Ibrox this season wearing it though??
-
Reading Players...
Lets sort out which league we'll be playing in next year first eh?

Battle Stations!
North Stand section G. I forgot this earlier and bought in Section E :)

Battle Stations!
Alot of my mates from dingwall are getting tickets for the Falkirk end c*nts I'm an Aberdeen fan and this is my first post on any forum! tempted to come up from Stirling to support our fellow sheep-sha**ers! Possibly taking a Pars fan with me. Would a Dons and a Pars shirt be welcome?! Should we buy and would we be able to buy tickets?! Aye head online to book tickets, or give the booking office a ring. Prob best if you don't wear the Dons or Dunfermline strips though

Operation Falkirk
Mesage on answerphone says pay on gate and ?23.50 for adult in North stand!! I just bought my North Stand adults tickets for ?19.50 a piece online  Wait a sec, with the booking fee and postage that could make it ?23 if you are buying one ticket

Setanta
I've just booked train tickets for the Saturday... and now i'm starting to wonder if our game will be moved to the Sunday for TV coverage??
-
Battle Stations!
Just booked mine for North Stand online. The away end is 100% going to be sold out I reckon, as quite a few 'Falkirk fans' will be heading down from Dingwall I reckon. Would love to see both our stands sold out, as this is THE BIGGEST game in our history. I'm away to watch 'Fever Pitch' to psyche (sp?) myself up
-
Battle Stations!
I really really can't afford to go, but i've thought b*gger it... that's what credit cards were made for! Train tickets have just been booked. Match tickets as well. Going to take our TA Flag with me:
