  1. SMEE, Granty24, I agree with you both, in that we have individuals playing as well as they need to in thier current contract. But if you are not there next season why would they bother going the extra mile or risking injury this close to the end of the season when you may be elsewhere in the summer. I know that this is what happens with loanees on ICT limited budget, but is hardly a recipe for progression and future improvement. I also agree with other posters that the entire team and management have the remaining games to make us best of the rest and convince a lot of people to renew season tickets or pay as you go next season.
  2. Ok TB and MM have thier contract extension in place. A lot of the current team, many on loan do not. Has TB taken the team as far as he can, or has the recent changes been part of a longer term plan. We have to bare in mind the budget he is working to, but then again so are other teams. What does TB have to do next season ( assuming we stay up) to be at least best of the rest like last season and not sliding backwards.
  3. Tansey ( well taken pen, created some play) Hayes ( great cross/goal, good width on wing) Golobart ( solid at the back less reckless than usual)
  4. We do not have an out and out capable striker. The difference between us losing and winning today, is that we couldn't put away our chances. McKay hitting the post Tade through one on ones and cant stick it in the net. Hibs scored 3 from open play, we had 1 penalty ( well taken) and a great cross which went in. Late substitutions are not effective and punt up the park to a wee non effective striker is not a winning formula.
  5. A difficult game again to pick three from, as a team we were poor but some individuals put in some effort. Tade Tansey Sutherland
  6. Butcher picks the team, the players produce the performance, both are to blame, both need to rectify.
  7. I agree with your entire post. I think most people are disappointed with the performance and not the result, and not for the first time this season the tactics are in question. I hope the extra training TB and MM had them in doing today on thier normal day off were addressing the issues to make for a better performance next week.
  8. I didn't expect a win today, just a decent performance. In fact that's what I have been wanting all season. I don't think many will pay to watch another season of mediocre dross from players which we all know can do better. Management and players to blame sort it out.
  9. A poor performance all round with not many stand out players. Williams Esson ?????? Remainder were poor
  10. Maybe they are just not as good as the teams they are playing.
  11. No. It's cheating, unprofessional and not ICT.
  12. ICT should run an open mics competition, perhaps in conjunction with Orion or MFR to find a local committed stadium announcer. Perhaps targeting media students from wannabe radio presenters and any local budding DJ's or indeed anyone who thought they were up to it. It could be pre match / half time entertainment with the club and fans voting for their favourite. The incentive to apply, watching ICT at home for free perhaps a pie and bovril at half time and a Platform to make a name for yourself. Free to do, easy to publicise and would probably generate a better outcome than we currently have.
  13. I agree with all of that fanoffooty, not so much a match day experience as a match day endurance. And what was up with the stadium announcer, could he have been less enthusiastic.
  14. ?20 a ticket and live on SKY and bad weather, I'm surprised there was as many as stated above. With the lack lustre performance today I don't think attendance will be going up in the near future.
  15. Gillet Ross Foran In a bonus game after beating DAFC in extra time, the team had nothing to lose. Tactics wrong for this type of game. Too many players didnt turn up. The three above were the exception.
  16. Slightly of topic but who was responsible for the dire music yesterday. If ever there was a day to get some enthusiasm and noise generated with some up tempo appropriate music it was yesterday. This did not happen. I'm sure the person who does it is a decent bloke and probably an unsung hero of the behind the scenes staff, but surely this is an area that should be easy to improve.
  17. RIG, I agree that Golobart punted some aimless balls up the park, but he was probably our best player today. I think this shows how bad the remainder were.
  18. Two goal keeping errors responsible for both goals, poor performance from Caley, lucky to still be in the cup but happy to still be in with a chance of being in the next round.
  19. ?15 for an adult ?10 for a child. I got mine from the club shop today. The Courier today is wrong, it shows normal league prices.
  20. At least Hibs have been beaten 3-1 and Dinfermline will surely get pumped from Celtic.
  21. Great goal from Jonny Hayes but plenty of chances missed from McKay and Tade. Happy with a point though.
  22. Apparently a groin injury, maybe picked up in the bounce game against Utd.
