  1. Golly and Foran are both out of this game so i'd go with:

    ----------------------Esson----------------------

    Proctor------Bulvitis---------Munro-----Tokely

    --------------Cox--------------Duncan----------

    Hayes-----------------------------------Odhiambo

    ----------------------------Sanchez---------------

    --------------------Rooney------------------------

Yeah if Foran and Golly are out then that has to be the team. I've completely lost faith in Djebi Zadi and Shinnie hasn't has enough experience to start at left back in a must win away game.

  2. A while back i remember a few people talking about BBC Alba showing highlights from the First Division. Am i right or did i just dream this?

Anyway just wanting to know if anyone has heard anything else about this recently on whether its going to happen or not.

  3. I wouldn't have a problem with McBain out on the left. The only thing that does concern me however is his age and speed. Its hard though as i haven't seen McBain play at all this season.

  4. I would play Odhiambo, Sanchez and Hayes in midfield. After Imrie left we don't really have anyone to replace our wingers so if it's going to be Nick Ross he needs to start gaining some experience in the next few games by maybe coming off the bench, a start is a bit too soon for him though i think.

  5. At the moment i think its this season, being at the top along with County with 2 games still to play against them is brilliant. But it will take something special to beat those last two games against Clyde and St.Johnstone for the title.

If you look at the league table, any of the top 6 teams have a potential chance of winning it as there is only 11 points difference between top and sixth place and the top three have all thrown points away on several occasions

Its down to Dundee, Inverness, County and Queens now. The rest of the pack are out of it. Partick i think are 10 points behind Dundee and still have two games in hand meaning they could make that 16 points infront of 5th place.

  7. Is there not a buy back clause in his contract if Stoke want him back? I seem to remember hearing about when he signed and there's one in Football Manager.

It's brilliant that you can become educated in Scottish football through Football Manager

And its amazing what you learn from Football Manager!

It's true though, I've learnt loads of stuff of it, and got ICT promoted and into the Scottish Cup final in my first season - mainly through my unique blend of football tactics!

I completely agree, I've went teams like East Stirling before trying to make the step up the leagues and you can quickly become familiar with the players in the league and what they look like from their photos.

  8. We're still very much in this as long as we keep it at 6 points and wait for Dundee to slip up. If the unthinkable happens on saturday and Morton take a point off us or we lose then it's all over.

We need to win on saturday and pull it back to 3 points. Then its like a penalty shoot out until the last game of the season...we need to keep hitting our targets and hope Dundee miss one extra.

  9. Caleykid this is no reason to stop supporting a team that you previously loved. Its the people who run the club you have the problem with, not the club. Pay at the gate until the end of the season, You've been enjoying football for free for the past few months so count yourself lucky.

  10. I disagree and think the pressure is on ICT is well. ICT banked on being back in the SPL next season, I still think its been a successful season regardless but thats what they expected at the start of the season. As the Dundee guy said on another thread everyone has must win games coming up and its not just Dundee, It will be really interesting to see how the next few games go.

I think we still have a chance of winning the league but i also think we could blow it and end up in 4th place at the end of the year, its that close and is far too hard to call.

I LOVE BEING BACK IN THE FIRST!

I don't think i ever felt like this when we were in the SPL, its great to have games to play for that mean something this late in the season.

  11. If the SPL was to change and allow a 16 team league meaning 30 games instead of the usual 38 then why not revamp either the scottish cup or league cup? A 4 team group phase for example. This would start having everyone from the third division right through to the SPL with a seeding system for dividing the groups out. This will add extra games and much needed revenue with the top 2 teams qualifying for the knockout stages which then turns into the regular cup as we know it either half as many teams.

Having those extra 8 saturdays off could then mean the League cup could be played on a saturday instead which may also improve crowds for those games.

  12. This is it....anything less than a win and i'm afraid the belief will be gone. Dundee are having their bad spell at the moment but it's not going to last forever, we need to pull them back as fast as we can and thats starting tonight against Queens. If by saturday night we are 3 points behind then we'll be in a great position.

  13. Of course we still have a chance of winning the league, We still have to play Dundee at home which should be 3 points. This means that being 6 points behind (if we win our game in hand on Tuesday night - Judgement Day) Dundee only have to slip up once for us to be 3 points behind and able to win the league on goal difference on the last day of the season.

I'm not very confident this will happen but it could and it isn't THAT far fetched to suggest we can do it, i still think Queens and County are doing better than us and are somewhat being ignored for this title run in.
