  1. These reptiles need to do a serious bit of growing up

They are a complete embarrassment to ICT and the club with the authorities should do all they can to dish out football banning orders

No wonder we get tarnished as highland huns while we have this section/element within our support

We should all play our part to eradicate this problem by pointing out the vermin to stewards or the northern constabulary if any unsavoury incidents happen in the future

  2. Minority my erse

You either don't live in the real world ,wear blue tinted spectacles or both

When you hear a packed Ibrox in full voice or any Rangers support in any away ground in Scotland or Europe it is the majority not a minority who belt these songs out

    Wisen up

  3. Today's result could well be another nail in their coffin if you ask me

What worries me if they do become defunct is that we will get an influx of local orcs appearing at TCS, let's hope not!!!!

You crack me up....complaining about lack of support from the local area in one thread and hoping that we don't convert people to the cause and bring them in on an another!!!

How exactly do you suggest converting one of them, once an Orc always an Orc IMO

You maybe quite happy sitting next to union jack waving bigot but I'm most definitely not

With that kind of attitude I can see now why you previously voted yes to kill of your previous team

  4. What really pissed me off yesterday was the idiots singing rule brittania and other rangers songs , thought there was going to be trouble when someone told them to shut up and sing ICT songs only for the fools to wind the guy up with "we're british and will sing it if we want" ! Cringeworthy .

These morons are a total embarrassment not only to the club but more so to themselves and shows up society in a very poor light

Regardless what you think of the Septics, lowering yourselves to their level is pathetic and something we all could do without in the highlands

If you feel the need to sing this tripe get yer names on the buses that leave the Portland every Saturday

The above link was posted on a friend of mine's facebook earlier today after our loss to the tims, and for some reason it's hit a nerve...

This is one of the main reasons I don't go to games when the Old Filth are in town. IE Our own supporters get chastised for standing, chanting and having a good time, yet in the South stand the fans can party and no-one bats an eyelid.

Sorry but IMHO thats a quite ludicrous reason for not attending yesterday

The old firm ashamed of nothing offended by everything I'm afraid you sadly come into that bracket with that kind of attitude

A full north stand bouncing with our fans and we could have had the exact same scenario yesterday but due to the stay sways that was sadly not an option

The apathy of the Inverness football fan makes a quite depressing read

Say what you want about the Celtic support but they generated a lot of cash for ICT yesterday certainly a lot more than home fans

  7. No doubt I'll get slated for starting a thread on this subject but I believe it needs to be highlighted, and this is by no means me having a go at the ICT fans including myself who were in attendance today

Less than 5800 today for a Scottish cup tie against the septics is an absolute disgrace considering what a massive game it was for the club

To be outnumbered by the away support at home should never happen but it seems to be the norm when it comes to important cup ties at TCS, we can't put it down to Celtic having a huge fanbase because I recall it being the same scenario when Elgin came calling a couple of seasons back

The north stand looked half empty from my seat in the main stand and that must have looked terrible on sky sports to a world wide viewing audience

Our attendances are on the decline this season but the question is why?

Why don't Invernessians get behind their team and back them in numbers has the novelty of SPL

    football worn off?

ICT need to do something to attract more Invernessians through the turnstiles as they are clearly failing in found so at this precise moment!

Inverness's population has grown quite substantially over the last two decades yet our fan base hasn't which means there is a serious problem in my opinion

ICT should be targeting all the primary and secondary schools in the city with complimentary tickets, get the younger fans interested and who knows it might get the new generation of Invernessians interested

    Thoughts?

  8. Very very disappointing for a Scottish cup tie as the players didn't seem to be up for it for some reason

Today's performance confirms to me anyway that Ryan Esson is our number 1 now there is no doubt, I'm afraid It's time Tuffey should maybe look elsewhere for first team football unless he wants to sacrifice his international career

Tokely's time at ICT is coming to an end a stalwart to the club but all good things eventually finish and he was cruelly exposed at the opening goal and at other times

Proctor is not an SPL footballer and never will be, my advice to him would be to give Ross Jack a phone call on Monday morning to see if he can be considered for a switch to borough briggs in the summer

I didn't even think Celtic were that impressive today and to be honest they eased themselves through to the quarters, other than the save from Forster which he tipped round the post we never really worried them, we had nothing up front and looked worryingly poor in defence

The one positive I take from today is knowing Jonny Hayes won't be going to Parkhead as my source says the move will never happen despite the fact that Neil Lennon rates him quite highly

  9. Call it fishing,winding up,trolling whatever I don't really give a dam

It's time some of you roasters wake up and start to see the stagnation of our club( possibly even decline) while our near neighbours are progressing on and off the pitch at an alarming rate of knots

If county do indeed get promoted I will be proved right regarding the stadium situation, albeit a smaller ground they will have the better facilities a more compact ground and one that will be more atmospheric and less exposed to the elements

I"ll be honest here I was totally unaware of the situation regarding the mains gas pipeline but this makes the whole location of our stadium the more unbelievable

Apart from the usual cyber bampots on CTO most ICT fans I know strongly dislike the location and design of TCS and I know for a fact visiting fans regard our ground as one of if not the worst in the league

The gap between us and County is diminishing at an alarming rate, do we really want to see them with a complete stadium, a larger average attendance and more worrying a better team on the park????

Anyway I'm off into town for a few pints before heading to the game

  10. To be fair Ender this thread did make me chuckle despite the name calling and it was a far more enjoyable read than the likes off "Against All Odds"

However I reckon you should add another team for next years draw "Old firm old uns" can think off a fair few on CTO who would fit the bill nicely

  11. I'll save my good luck wishes till after saturday...............I'm sure he'll feature against Dunfermline

    Very petty and immature Alex

I wish the boy well now no matter what happens tomorrow in the cup

He is a class act and he probably realises that he will be in the spotlight more if he gets loaned out to a club in England

I very much doubt anyone from Wolves would have watched him up here but I stand corrected if I'm wrong

We all knew he was a loan signing and that he would probably be leaving this month therefor there is no point greeting about it now

I will definitely be keeping an eye on him as his career progresses

  12. Worrying news from Dingwall tonight from one of their local rags

    http://www.ross-shirejournal.co.uk/News/Rapid-upgrade-plan-for-Victoria-Park-7507275.htm

It looks like they could soon be in the process of constructing a stadium in Dingwall that will be compliant for the SPL

I personally don't have a problem with them being in the SPL with us but I do feel that they will have a far superior stadium

Let's be completely honest here our stadium is an uncomplete shambles that was thrown up as a temporary measure so we could play our home games in Inverness

Our board have stalled badly when it comes to stadium upgrade or improvements

Why do we still have two temporary stands behind both goals? surely these should have been bulldozed by now and replaced with permanent structures

Why has a fourth stand not been constructed? This would have made our stadium complete keeping the atmosphere in and the wind and elements out

It's time for our board to act and sort out our ground because if they don't I fear we are going to be left behind by our neighbours from the countryside

  13. I like the changes the site looks a lot more pleasing on the eye and removing the ridiculous red dot green dot game that is played out by some on here is a definite step in the right direction

I called for the site to be opened to all users not just members and it happened

I called for the voting system to be scrapped and it has now also happened

Hats off to the mods and site admin for listening to us members

  14. I personally would like to see County in the SPL the money from these games would be very welcome when times are so hard

Pretty sure Sky would show one or two of these games live as well which would be a great advert for the highlands

There are negatives though losing match hospitality would be definite as they just seem to do it better in Dingwall somehow, sponsorship and investment would also drop with a second SPL team playing from the same area

What could be embarrassing though would be the increased gates at Victoria park as they would dramatically increase and would more than likely average out more than our poor attendances sadly

The other worrying thought is that of Grant Munro coming back to haunt ICT think most of us know it's going to happen one day and the way things are shaping out it's starting to look like it's going to be next season

  15. What is it with all these appeal threads?

There is no point appealing its not going to change the result even if it was successful we are still going to be left with 0pts from yesterday

Yes the standard of refereeing is getting worse but we should remember that referees are there to do a job and mistakes have been made since football started over 100 years ago

Its called human error no-one is perfect and some ICT fans need to remember that before mouthing off and claiming there is some sort of anti ICT bias

Lets look to the future not dwell on what is now the past

  16. The Soldiers song came over loud and clear on the telly and it was clearly being sung by more than a minority. Suppose there will be a slap on the wrist and a mediocre fine.

This would be the very same song you sung for decades in your beloved jungle if i'm not mistaken

Does this mean Scotland will be fined the next home international when flower of scotland is sung?

Not sure if this is a very poor attempted fishing trip or Old firm tit for tat point scoring but whatever it is its one of your worst threads ever and that takes some doing

  17. Lets face it - this is a small club and this Forum is a focal point. It is no coincidence that comments and pressure from CTO posters has influenced decisions made on the playing side.

That makes it feel all the better that the majority of the changes that we have suggested have been taken on board. Thankfully the manner in which we have presented our suggestions has been constructive, albeit relentless and at times reverse psychology, and have usually been backed up with a clear rationale.

It is nice to know that we can influence things, albeit indirectly, and hopefully our efforts will begin to pay dividends.

So take a bow - the posters who stuck to their guns and ignored some of the derision mooted by the blinded loyal.

    Respect to the outspoken

  18. IMO Andrew Shinnie has been our best player this season along with Ryan Essen

In time Shinnie will prove to be a better player than Christie, I felt when things got tough Christie tended to hide in games whereas I don't see that with Shinnie

Charlie had skill that there is no doubt, but I personally doubt he could have played premier league football otherwise he would have made a better go off it during his time with Celtic

It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low

  19. I've just had a tip off, and have checked it out as correct, that a seller on Amazon is trying to offload a second hand copy of Against All Odds for...... ?118 :rotflmao:

Now that makes Mr Leakey sound like a philanthropist.

Somebody wants to tell them that it can be obtained on here for nothing!

    Yawn

Yet another shameless plug for Against all odds

IMO the best use for this publication is to start your bonfire on Guy Fawkes night, should work a treat

  20. Its time for unity and less negativity as this site is a depressing read at the moment

I'm not one for shouting for a managers sacking but I am certainly starting to question some if not most of his signings over the summer

ICT jerseys are not for second best, they don't shrink to fit inferior players

  21. Just back in the house from the game and the word that sums up that performance - PATHETIC!!!!

It never ceases to amaze me how many internet fans this club seems to have yet they all come on here spouting their expert opinions on these match threads every week without fail, my advice to them would be try attending the games that way we will take you and your posts more seriously

Lets put it into perspective we were simply outclassed by a mediocre Dunfermline team today, they played well and passed well but that was because we let them, If it hadn't been for Ryan Essen we would not have escaped with a point

I am now starting to question Terry and Mo's motivational skills and I unfortunately can see the start of a Sydney or Brentford scenario starting
