  1. Logan Chalmers and David Wotherspoon not getting contract extensions from Dundee Utd.
  2. Aye but it was Montrose not Monaco!
  3. Yeah Lawal did quite a lot of good stuff, whereas Anderson did not.
  4. This was my first time at Links Park. Decent stand, giving us a great view of our team’s dismalness and complete lack of cutting edge.
  5. Oh and Big Dunc - nul points!
  6. Just got home and realised that instead of travelling to Montrose and enduring that p1sh, I could’ve stayed at home and watched the Eurovision semi-final!
  7. We’ve been honking, lucky to be level after some flakey defending early on. A great save by Ridgers too. Odd flashes of skill from Lawal the only bright spot.
  8. Make that 161.
  9. We are unbeaten in relegation playoffs, right?
  10. Never been to Links Park. It’s an artificial pitch isn’t it?
  11. Yes and this has occurred in an era of 5 consecutive managers who had been forwards themselves!
  12. For me it’s Harper, with Ridgers the only other name in the frame but some way behind. I see that those two are the only players to have started every league game. Obviously none of our players have set the league on fire, but Harper has been consistently good for us and has thoroughly earned a move to a bigger club this summer.
  13. Who do you think has earned it this season? And young player of the year?
  14. Not just 4 relegations, but in 4 consecutive seasons!
  15. David Carson, Dan Mackay and Andy Shinnie are all part of the Livi side that got relegated. (Dan on loan from Hibs though)
  16. Nah he’s a regular. Played 38 matches this season including all 4 in April.
  17. Does anyone know if we have anyone watching Montrose today? I presume they weren’t fielding their strongest side though (no Gardyne) but still came from 0-2 to win win 3-2. I’d forgotten that they have another ex-ICT player, Matheus Machado.
  18. An irrelevant piece of info, but with the benefit of hindsight we now know that on 27 January we became safe from automatic relegation!
  19. I’d like to see them try
  20. Agree that the service has been very poor all season, although Wetherspoon was able to get a good strike rate for us by being a good, creative forward. I noticed that since Sheridan joined QP in February, the 4 goals he scored is the same as our strikers combined. (Mckay, Samuel, Pepple and Brooks - how must he feel about not getting a sniff).
  21. There are so many factors at play. We started this season with a weaker squad than we had last year. (This can be said every year, sadly) Financial constraints impacting the playing budget further, most notably around January. The manager(s) Lack of leadership on the pitch Strikers firing blanks Injuries Not getting our fair share of luck across the season? Certainly feels that way to me.
  22. I’ve split this out from the matchday thread as it is an interesting question and a separate discussion from a match in which not a lot actually went wrong!
  23. This time last year - a cup final ahead of us. Now - 4 cup finals ahead of us. Progress!
  24. The opposite is true. The best seasons in our history occurred when Muirfield Mills were active and putting money in, from 2012 to 2019. We’ve been declining ever since.
  25. Yes I was just looking back through the Championship tables. In the 29 seasons since it became a 10 team league, there is never a season when our record would have left us as low as 9th. (The only other time 9th had more than. 40 points was Airdrie as you say, but they had GD of -14)
