I think it’s fair to say Jake Davidson has made the impact or claimed the right back position in the way that anyone might have hoped would happen. Our league record in games he has started: W0 D2 L6. Not all his fault, but perhaps not a coincidence either.

Our game must’ve been considered by BBC, there’s not much between ours and the 2 games they picked in terms of general public interest and likelihood of a shock. I suspect geography and cost might’ve been the deciding factor. Oh and who’d have thunk it, Viaplay picked the Rangers and Celtic matches!

Wow - look at the pictures mun! I might well be wrong on this but is it not the case that ICT (and other teams) have had more orange away kits than Rangers have? I thought Rangers did it for the first and only time in 2002 (the more recent one was 3rd kit, not the official away kit, being pedantic). Personally I really dislike the orange colour, and understand the connotations it can have, but the presumption by so many that we are trying to copy another team is something that anyone outside Scotland would think is just bonkers!

The subscription tv channels will want to show the OF ties as usual, but I would think our tie and Airdrie v Hearts would be the ones of most interest to BBC Scotland.

We will have to be better than we have been in recent weeks if we are to have a decent chance. But it can be done.

Speaking of the next round, the draw is tomorrow and the chances are we won’t get a team we are favourites to beat. I think the only remaining teams who are below us in the league are Ayr, Bonnyrigg and Cove/Brora (oh, and hopefully Buckie too!)

Can’t believe we are even talking about this 6 months after the kit launch, but our current away kit looks nothing like those Rangers ones you posted (apart from the sleeves), and doesn’t it actually have more red than orange?!

So it seems, but isn’t that a case in point of what we are talking about here, ie an automatic presumption by the witch hunters that SG has done something wrong when as far as I can see there is no evidence that this is the case? I have absolutely no information on why the podcast seems to be getting shunned at the moment. Maybe the manager doesn’t want players doing unnecessary media work at the moment. Maybe the podcast guys have done something which breached the club’s trust and they are deservedly blacklisted as a result. And maybe the CEO is just being an erse. But he answers to the Chairman and Board and if he has severed a connection with fans without a good reason, I would think it would not go down well with them. Whatever the reason, it’s a very disappointing state of affairs and I hope it gets sorted.

From my experience that actually sounds a pretty normal way for a business to operate. Who here would be allowed to issue public communications for their employer without approval?
