FC Astra Giurgiu -V- Inverness CT
did you read the first post? just like they did last week when they covered our game live and had updates from the Aberdeen away game, they are doing the same ... covering Aberdeen at home in the live commentary with updates from ours. Sorry Scotty, I didn't read it but thanks for clarifying anyways.

Trialists
Bahrudin Atajic signed for SJK of Finland months ago. Given that there is still well over a month and a bit to go on the transfer window, there is still plenty time to fill in the gaps in the squad. In my opinion, the current squad is ready for the Scottish Premiership.

Bit disrespectful to leave out Birkirkara as a potential opponent

New Away Strip
Wouldn't have thought so. First year of a new kit supplier always means at least 2 new kits. Ross County started with Carbrini last season and have a new home and away kit this season.

ICTFC v FC Astra Giurgiu // Travel + Build up
I was under the impression that U21s that are from our youth system don't need to be registered and after reading the regulations it doesn't really make it any clearer for me. Also, Calum Ferguson said in a recent interview with the club that he was still not 100%, so he might not make it anyways.

If what they are saying is true that Owain Fon Williams is signed and eligible to play against Astra, that means that Dani Lopez was signed before last Friday's deadline. Delighted to get in another keeper in especially as its been said that Dean is out until Christmas.

Brora win title.
It wouldn't surprise me if they went with Richard Brittain especially with the work that he put for the trialist week last month. He would be a good appointment for them IMO.

ICT v. St Mirren
Just back from the game and I thought that St Mirren brought us a good workout game before the Astra game on Thursday. Overall, I was impressed with the movement and passing of the team as a whole especially with the new players in the team. Today was my first viewing of the team since the Cup final and I have mixed feelings about the trialists and also new additions. JJ Hooper: I thought out of the trialists he had more to offer and looked quite good when he was running into positions and looked like he had a mean shot on him. Jordan Roberts: Very comfortable on the ball and looks to be a good find by the club. I thought today he had flashes of Andrew Shinnie about him today. I do think however him playing besides Ryan Christie created a wee bit of a conflict as they are very similar players. Dani Lopez: Meh. Brought on later in the second half and I wasn't over impressed if I have to be honest. A couple times he gave away the ball and then another incident where he tripped over the ball. I think there is more to come from him if he was signed and fully match fit but I think there is better options. Oliver Norburn: Quite impressed with him, plays a very similar game to Greg Tansey which would be a helpful addition to the club incase Greg was ever injured or suspended. Nat Wedderburn: I thought he done alright today, I was impressed in the first half when the ball looked to be heading out for a goal kick but Nat managed to get the end to it and cross into the box. In my personal opinion, I do not think he is suited for the left back position and would be better placed in the centre of the pitch. I do think he played well and I'm keen to see more of him in the up in coming matches. I do feel we were missing width play today and also pacy drive that was provided when Graeme Shinnie and Marley Watkins were at the club however we would have been alright today if we had the services of Danny Williams and Carl Tremarco.

Trialists
Mark Lamont must be playing his trialist games with the U20s squad. Near the bottom of this link it says he is with us on trial. http://www.thejuniors.info/2015/06/petershill-news/

I am pretty sure the initial squad has to be registered today however and I could be entirely wrong, I think you can add an additional registration a couple days before the first leg.

Russell Latapy
Brian Rice has been in the dugout the last two friendlies, I fully expect him to replace Latapy.
