  1. I personally feel that we could do with getting a couple of experienced players that have already played European football to help out our guys when it comes to big game qualifiers. I also appreciate for us to do that would take the club to spend money that we most likely don't have but maybe there are a few feasible options out there. Scott McDonald done it all with Celtic in Europe and seems to be having a really positive impact to Motherwell this season. His contract will be coming to an end next month, could do no wrong in enquiring IMO On our day we have a squad good enough to compete with a good European side but as I say, a couple experienced players wouldn't go a miss.
  2. Aye because the wages we can offer will be the same as Aberdeen. In terms of a loan mover we don't know what dons will be paying Still would be much more than we could ever offer. If we had more money than Aberdeen, Shinnie would be with us next season.

  4. I think Saturday would be a perfect opportunity for the lads (especially U20s) who are out of contract in the summer to give Yogi an idea whether they are good for the first team yet or not.
  5. Went into the shop today and I thought it was a brilliant set up. I really liked the fact that you can get merchandise right in the centre of town without going all the way out to the stadium. I would love to see it become a permanent shop but if I remember correctly, we had a set up at Debenhams about 9/10 years ago but sales weren't doing too great?
  6. Looking at the Wikipedia page, the glamour tie for me from the first round would be AIK from Sweden. I also notice England getting a European place through fair play enter the first round which I believe West Ham are currently favourites for that spot.
  7. Mackay Raven Brown Devine Tremarco Polworth Horner Sutherland Ross Kink Ferguson Subs: Esson, Meekings, Draper, Doran, Watkins, Christie, Ofere
  8. TCS or the academy?` Hasn't been announced yet but I would assume TCS.
  9. Next Tuesday is the final game of the season - Home to Falkirk. (Ironic)
  10. D is the section for the North Stand. F is one half of the sections for the East Stand
  11. With us having the North, East and South stands I can only assume the allocation would be 20/25K for each team. How many of that allocation we sell as Kingsmill says doesn't matter.

This game is a must win. Can't let Dundee United or St Johnstone back in the race.
  14. Was at the game yesterday and I thought that we done well enough to win the three points up until Yogi had taken off Doran for Devine, St Johnstone scoring and Raven being sent off. I thought after we had scored our goal, we had some good chances to score a second and have to mention the superb solo run by Josh Meekings but he went for the safe option and passed to Doran who missed it. I was pretty baffled by Yogi's substitution taking Doran off and replacing him with Devine which in one respect I can see why trying to protect the one nill advantage but Devine was stuck in centre midfield and just looked like a rabbit in headlights. We have Nick Ross, Ryan Christie and Tarmo Kink on the bench, all creative players, they should have been given the nod IMO. The ref was garbage - far too card happy. I agree with Yogi when he said he was out of his depth. We have a massive game on Tuesday now and it will be great to have Ross Draper back.

  16. I see Aberdeen's U20 won the league today. Maybe worth a look for potential loanees for next season.
  17. I would happily take Gardyne here but I can't see it personally. Least Boyce has signed a new deal today
  18. Unless Yogi has something else lined up.
  19. Our U20s had a game with Ross County yesterday and it finished 1-1 Next game is tomorrow vs Dunfermline at highland football academy in Dingwall, 2pm KO
  20. Apparently top flight English sides have offered Falkirk games against their development sides to help them keep competitive between the end of their season to the Scottish Cup final.
  21. Billy Mckay's Wigan has been relegated to League 1.
  22. Heard at the weekend that Falkirk are getting the clockwork for the final - Shame, it's a cracking bar.
  23. Danny Williams against Killie at TCS.
  24. Looks like we've got the Celtic end.
  25. £25 for a cup final ticket at the national stadium in my opinion is reasonable. Concessions also being a fiver is a bonus too.
