Now that we have two strikers on loan plus Dani Lopez, I don't the see the point in adding another striker until January at the very least. We should focus on the defensive side of things. A quality left back wouldn't go a miss.

We've signed Miles Storey and Tobi Sho-Silva until January on loan.

Definitely agree that the money we are receiving from Celtic should be put back into the squad. Faissal El Bakhtaoui should be a viable option for us considering Hibs were interested but now are going for Freuz. I think we should also look at the option of getting a centre back and also a left back until at least January. I would be disappointed if we don't make any movements today.

I think he will have put himself on the map and probably will sign for a premiership team or Hibs.

Not sign a deal with a joke brand. The deal with Carbrini and JD must be good financially for the club to take it. I also think that the quality of the merchandise is much better than Errea had provided for us. I can't see there being much of a difference in waiting until September because I know fans will still buy the kits. Fair enough we missed the perfect opportunity during the European games vs Astra to sell them but I think we will still have a good number of them sold when they do eventually go on sale.

I genuinely don't understand how the club are at fault regarding this. Birmingham City's kit is not on sale until September due to manufacturing issues with carbrini which I can only assume we are in the same boat - what else can the club do then?

Billy Mckay played for Wigan's development squad today and scored. I wonder if we can get him back on loan for 6 months given that we seem to have funds available.

I know this thread is about potential strikers however I see Darren McGregor has left Rangers by mutual consent. I know that it may seem unappealing but he seemed to be a stand out for Stuart McCall. It might be worth a shot to allow Ross Draper back in midfield.

When I think of Tade, I think the same of Greg Tansey in the sense he was playing for the club at the wrong time (the first time round) With our style of play and a poacher like Tade, it would be of great benefit and plus him being a free - you can't complain.

A few of us do quite rate the Scottish League and that is a good shout but a transfer fee would be required which we are unlikely to pay. Absolutely agreed however when I first mentioned him in this thread, I was saying that we should put in an offer should we sell Ryan Christie this transfer window.

I know people on here don't seem to rate the Scottish League 1 but El Bakhtaoui scored again tonight, that's 9 in 5 games. We've previously looked at JJ Hooper who was sitting in conference and now a guy in the Irish Leagues, surely this guy El Bakhtaoui is worth a look. £700k is ridiculous though and I doubt he'll have signed for even half that fee... especially having only started a dozen or so games for Falkirk. Sorry, you're right. I think the deal could potentially see Falkirk earn £700K, the cash in hand they are receiving is £180K apparently.
