Replacement Striker?
Dundee United have just signed Robbie Muirhead from Killie. They have the likes of Charlie Telfer, Chris Erskine and Ryan Dow at the club so I personally don't think they are weakened Hamilton - yes.

Rangers have now signed the five Newcastle lads on loan so, I wonder what that means for Clark ? None of them are strikers, so I would assume not a great deal?

Replacement Striker?
We shouldn't be criticise the club just yet. We have tried to get guys in such as Lee Bernard and Nicky Clark which were both rejected because the player didn't want to come and we couldn't match their wages respectively. We can sign a player outwith the transfer market so it's not all doom and gloom. Still an hour anyways!

Falkirk reject bid but can't access their website to see who assume Hamilton.

Replacement Striker?
Gavin Reilly of QOTS then please!

Replacement Striker?
Apparently a few SPFL clubs are looking at possibility of Dean Shiels on loan but none of them close to matching 50% wage demand.

Just seen the list of players they are supposed to get, it's a bunch of defenders and midfielders.

Replacement Striker?
Nicky Clark would be a great signing. They might deal lower wage if they get Newcastle signings If we don't get him I think we should move to Gavin Reilly or Rory Loy on a permanent.

I hope they know the cut off is before 12am The deadline is Midnight in Scotland. It's 11pm in England.

Apparently us and Ross County are hoping to complete loan deals before midnight.

BID FOR STRIKER TURNED DOWN
Sounds like we wanted this guy on loan. It wouldn't surprise me if Southend were happy to send Bernard up here but it sounds like he didn't want to come here. In all honesty there are better options out there than this guy.

Who?! I think MacDuffer is referring to Marlon Jackson who we had on trial before Sekajja signed. Well, the boy Marlon has recently signed for Halifax Town in the conference.

Replacement Striker?
Totally agree but if we went with Gow and Watkins that would be enough to take us to the end of the season IMO. I personally wouldn't mind someone like Gavin Reilly of QOTS. He seems to be scoring for fun for them and he's only 21.

Replacement Striker?
Nah. He's not really much of a striker anyway, more of a number ten and we've got enough of them already. Could be used in the same way Watkins playing off Mckay - could do no worse IMO.

I seen on Twitter today that Alan Gow is training with Hamilton Accies. Worth a look again for us?

Replacement Striker?
We've been active before on transfer deadline where we have secured loan deals so I suspect that to be the case tomorrow, if not then it will have to be looking in the free agent market as Yogi says in the interview last week on the ICT YouTube channel. Kenny Cameron also stated that we have a contingency plan in place should Mckay or anyone else left the club, so again I'm sure we will be active tomorrow or some point in the future with a replacement.

Inverness CT -V- Ross County
Disappointed to leave the game today with only a point. Felt after scoring the first goal (fantastic goal too) we sat back and tried to protect the one nill advantage. I thought Marley Watkins had a reasonable shift up front but I do have to question where he was positioned because sometimes I felt he was sitting too deep and then he was out on the wings. I do share the feelings of other posters where we need a striker as at times I did felt we lacked a bit of bite up front. I was actually quite surprised by Ross County today, I felt they had a lot of the ball and defensively they were pretty tight today - fair play to them. Got to win next weekend at Partick.

Replacement Striker?
Well we have played a game this season without Mckay up front at Parkhead and went with Watkins in the solo striker role in that particular game. I wasn't at that game but if I remember correctly we had a decent first half in that game where we could have been a few goals up. We can cope in the short term without a 'recognised' but I'd like to hope we get one for the long term at the very least and after listening to Yogi's interview, I believe we will.

Transfer Window approaching.
We have until late Monday night to get a replacement secured. We also have time after that to get a free agent on loan Only free agent the loan would have to be done in the window I know, the free agent on loan comment was said in jest as its a CTO inside joke with a few posters etc.

The "Keep/Punt/What Do We Need?" Thread
The guys that you list above neither Horner nor Polworth would get above them guys. I know it sounds harsh but football can be cruel and I personally think it would be in the best interests of the club and them two if we went our separate ways. Since Horner joined the club, I don't think he's played a first team game competitively just the friendlies. Polworth granted one of our own but Christie in my opinion is miles ahead of Polworth. I think Polworth would thrive at a lower league team in Scotland. Just looking at that list you've posted Alex, even Richie would struggle to get ahead of them guys.
