Combination of both lackadaisical defending and poor team selection cost us the game tonight. Why on earth was Josh Meekings playing at right back when him and Warren are the best central pairing? I also don't understand Hughes' obsession to stick Miles Storey out in the wings, when the boy is an out and out striker.

Get Foran in charge sooner rather than later.

I know that Richie Foran is pretty much a shoe in for the job in the event that Yogi leaves but I honestly think our next appointment should be a continental one with good credentials suited for our team - ideal choice of manager would be a dutch one for me IMO.

My only criticism this season is purely on the recruitment strategy this year has been god awful. Firstly, the number of midfielders at the club is something that I find frankly bizarre. We currently have 14 midfielders as apposed to 5 defenders and 2 strikers. I do have a lot of sympathy for Yogi as the current injury situation cannot be helped however I can't help but think we wouldn't have been in this situation if Yogi had a proper transfer strategy and brought players in not to just fill in the numbers. The other criticism regarding the transfers to me was timing and that's something that desperately needs changing at the club. Teams around us are very quick to sign players up in May but we fannied about with trialists far too long and we even signed Owain Fon Williams the day before we played Astra - just doesn't bode well with me. End of the day, we could be in a worst situation right now and the key going forward is major teamwork and determination both from manager and players. Despite my reservations, It would find it to be absolutely suicidal to sack John Hughes this late in the season.

So sad to hear of Ross' passing this week. I was very surprised as I seen him at Dens park just last weekend. I only knew of him by name and face but you could tell he was a huge Caley Thistle supporter and well liked within the Caley community. Yesterday was fantastic by our fans with the minutes applause for him. My fondest memory of Ross certainly would have been the game against Rangers before the Scottish independence and Ross stood up against their fans with a 'Yes' Sign for majority of the game.

Draper will be a massive miss tonight IMO.

I agree with Yogi, Higdon is not the type of player we need. I would like to see another Miles Storey player. Fans are entitled to opinion and Yogi is not immune from CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. I personally think that under the current wage structure put in place, yes we have done well however questioning the number of midfielders at the club is a very valid question.

Agree with Kingsmill, what's the point in over spending on wages for Ofere when we have a perfectly good striker in Miles Storey. I thought one of the morals that our club stands by is that we 'live within our means'.

I know that Butcher used an agent from England to get players up to Inverness. Given the latest two signings, I do wonder if said agent still cooperates with the club. John Collins would be one, but it hasn't worked in terms of players coming in.

I'm of the view point that Terry Butcher found it easier to bring players to Inverness than John Hughes can purely on the basis that Butcher had a higher stature in the game than Hughes during his time with us.

I can see where you're coming from Alex but the sticking point is solely in the release clause. In the situation you've told me above, I have it in writing that if a potential buyer meets my valuation of the car, then I have to accept the offer regardless if it leaves me out of pocket or not. What I also don't understand is, why is a release clause in a contract if other clubs aren't allowed to know about it? Seems a bit odd if you ask me.

In the event of Tansey terminating his contract, he can't join Aberdeen until the window opening again in June apparently.

Yeah however the value with the instalments meets the release clause, so in theory a bid would have been accepted for Tansey, which leads me back to my original question, how were we able to block a move?

I feel that I'm not slandering the youngsters though. I'm only expressing my opinion that CJT wouldn't issue a banning if it wasn't warrented. CJT have rules of conduct when using the transport and said rules may have been broken leading to the ban. From reading the text in the screenshot, no reason was given for the ban, only the OP has stated it was for singing which frankly I find bizarre. I do agree with you that once CJT give clarity over this issue the better.

I can understand your view point DD, however I just cannot envision board members banning the younger fans for singing on a bus, if that was the case more than just the lads would be banned in previous times I have travelled with them. Don't me wrong, I really hope this issue gets resolved as soon as possible and I don't like seeing any fan being banned from travelling. All I wanted to make the point was that I didn't think the slandering of CJT was justifiable by certain posters.
