So sad to hear of Ross' passing this week. I was very surprised as I seen him at Dens park just last weekend. I only knew of him by name and face but you could tell he was a huge Caley Thistle supporter and well liked within the Caley community. Yesterday was fantastic by our fans with the minutes applause for him. My fondest memory of Ross certainly would have been the game against Rangers before the Scottish independence and Ross stood up against their fans with a 'Yes' Sign for majority of the game.

I agree with Yogi, Higdon is not the type of player we need. I would like to see another Miles Storey player. Fans are entitled to opinion and Yogi is not immune from CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. I personally think that under the current wage structure put in place, yes we have done well however questioning the number of midfielders at the club is a very valid question.

Agree with Kingsmill, what's the point in over spending on wages for Ofere when we have a perfectly good striker in Miles Storey. I thought one of the morals that our club stands by is that we 'live within our means'.

I know that Butcher used an agent from England to get players up to Inverness. Given the latest two signings, I do wonder if said agent still cooperates with the club. John Collins would be one, but it hasn't worked in terms of players coming in.

I'm of the view point that Terry Butcher found it easier to bring players to Inverness than John Hughes can purely on the basis that Butcher had a higher stature in the game than Hughes during his time with us.

I can see where you're coming from Alex but the sticking point is solely in the release clause. In the situation you've told me above, I have it in writing that if a potential buyer meets my valuation of the car, then I have to accept the offer regardless if it leaves me out of pocket or not. What I also don't understand is, why is a release clause in a contract if other clubs aren't allowed to know about it? Seems a bit odd if you ask me.

In the event of Tansey terminating his contract, he can't join Aberdeen until the window opening again in June apparently.

Yeah however the value with the instalments meets the release clause, so in theory a bid would have been accepted for Tansey, which leads me back to my original question, how were we able to block a move?
