If we can get Ross Draper, Josh Meekings Liam Polworth, Miles Storey, Grey Tansey signed up on longer deals, adding a striker to support Storey and a natural left back then I would say that would be a successful Jan transfer window. Offloading Lopez and Mutombo would also be an added bonus.
  2. Don't know how true this is but heard a rumour that Raven is off to Dundee United.

Yeah, we need a natural left back IMO. The problem for me is that we haven't properly replaced Graeme Shinnie. Danny Williams is all well and good playing there however he's better suited in a more attacking nature role - which would fulfil your request for another winger.

A left back and striker should be our main priority in the window.
  5. See both the Dundee clubs will have the same sponser as us too. Haven't seen 3 clubs with the same in the league before

I do hope that we can hold onto Miles Storey but given his current form with us, think we may struggle. On that basis, we do need a couple strikers and I genuinely hope Storey is one of them. With regards to Darren Murray, if he was worth it, Yogi would have signed him. Hopefully we can get our top scout Kenny Cameron to bring in another decent striker.
  7. Agree that majority of his signings have been mediocre but I would give him credit for Edward Ofere, so important to winning the Scottish Cup.
  8. Happy with this news regarding Yogi signing on for another couple of seasons and hopefully we as a club can kick on with the stability from this. Like Kingsmills, I do hope that he is given a bit more flexibility in the transfer front to sign decent players like Miles Storey, so that we avoid panic signing players like Lopez and Mutombo.
  9. Josh Meekings and Cameron Fryre from Ferris Bueller's day off.
  10. To be honest, the problem with the attack this season is the lack of Marley Watkins providing support.
  11. Sounds like on this case it was bad luck to concede in the last minute - big game against Celtic next weekend now.
  12. I'm all for giving players a second chance etc but spitting at a teenager is a new low. Dani Lopez is a senior player and 30 years old playing in a reserve game, what kind of message does it send to our younger players when they are there not only just for game time but all mentoring the younger players. I'm glad the club took swift action over this because at the end of the day, we can't just sweep it under the carpet like it didn't happen IMO.
  13. Great to see we have made a profit once again especially with a lack of league sponsors and attendances fluctuating - puts last years achievements into perspective. Out of general interest, I wouldn't mind seeing how much our European campaign cost us, guess won't find out until next year.
  14. This move by Celtic doesn't surprise me in the slightest and they are quite right to do so - given that he is a Celtic player. End of the day, they will give him rehabilitation which maybe better for him in the long run. The best way to look at it is that he is in good care and we may get him back before January. It will be gutting if he doesn't play for us again but that's life - we move on.
  15. I wonder just how realistic it is with regards to CTO... If I started a career with ICT and lost the opening match, would I get to be able to see Shaun/Mahonio's posts demanding me to be sacked?
  16. Inverness Courier saying that Ross Draper and Jordan Roberts could be back after the international break - what a bonus that would be!
  17. Just pure guesswork on my part here, but what if said offer was given to Yogi and his agent and it was rejected and then Kenny Cameron hasn't re-negotiated a newer offer - hence the lack of communication?
  18. I wouldn't say Draper is a Lampard type player but definitely Tansey has the same qualities as Stevie Gerrard. I would like to see Draper become more of a Roy Keane, we've been missing that in Foran's absence.
  19. Fantastic performance and result. Sounded very comfortable from our side, so much so Fon Williams probably had the cigars out and the slippers on. Hope Ryan Christie has a speedy recovery and Miles Storey's injury is not too serious, thankfully we don't play for another two weeks.
  20. 3-1 now Moult getting one back for Motherwell.
  21. Team looks like this: Fon Williams Horner Devine Meekings Tremarco Tansey Polworth Vincent Christie Vigurs Storey Subs: Esson, Warren, Wedderburn, Lopez, Sutherland, MacRae
  22. Fon Williams Meekings Devine Wedderburn Tremarco Vincent Tansey Polworth Vigurs Williams Christie That team IMO would be our strongest team available if Storey and Warren miss out tomorrow.
  23. John Robertson? Is the Orion group running that Facebook page.
  24. With Yogi suspended from the dugout tomorrow, what's the possibility of having Richie Foran standing in as replacement? I think it would be the perfect opportunity to see how he fares IMO. Failing that I would be more than happy with Brian Rice and Scott Kell taking charge.
  25. Pretty laughable decision IMO. There seems to be far too much protection over referees in Scotland to prevent them from going on strike again - whatever happened to freedom of speech etc.
