  1. I'd be disappointed at that if it's true but mostly because we are stuck behind that fecking pole.
  2. Brill Raven Devine Meekings Tremarco Foran Draper Doran Tansey Shinnie Mckay Subs: Esson, Warren, Polworth, Williams, Vincent, Watkins, Ross
  3. Next U20 game is Wednesday 19th at Highland Football Academy with 1pm KO.

  5. Brill Raven Devine Meekings Shinnie Draper Tansey Doran Ross Watkins Mckay Subs: Esson, Warren, Tremarco, Vincent, Foran, Williams, Pepper I was down at Stranraer last Saturday and I thought with Gary Warren getting a head injury and at times getting caught out I think he deserves a rest. At the semi final Danny Devine done really well and I think he deserves a game.
  6. I think that Rangers vs Albion Rovers will be on Sky on the Saturday 12:45 KO. If we beat Stranraer then I can see us being on Sky on the Sunday. BBC will probably choose Aberdeen vs Dumbarton
  7. 3-2! Game On!
  8. 3-0 Hamilton with 10 mins to go. Having watched Hamilton's U20 team twice last season, I thought they were an impressive U20 team.
  9. Think it will turn out to be a good move. Obviously we are without Joe Gorman but I think Richie Foran has the leadership and structure to hold a defence well.

  12. The SPFL couldn't run a bath nevermind an association!
  13. I'd love to know where in Celtic Park our allocation is going to be? Personally hope we are behind a goal.
  14. Because the first train from Inverness gets in at 14:05.

    Joe Gorman

I actually thought that was quite unwise. Openly supporting another club in the same league as the team your employers is disrespectful and he shouldn't have bothered mentioning them. I'm also of the opinion that footballers shouldn't have Twitter for these types of reasons. He's clearly not one of the sharper tools in the toolshed, but some of the comments from seething Sevconians and Northern Irish folk are quite something. Their utter rage at this, combined with dreadful spelling and grammar (I know Irish and Glasgow schools aren't the best, but come on!), seem to show that they're even stupider than him! Won't at all be surprised to some of these morons popping up on here blurting on about it shortly. To be fair to Gorman I only seen Celtic tweets before a champions league game, never really check on match days because we are usually playing that day but for me personally I don't think there's much of an issue of Gorman supporting Celtic and IIRC Jonny Hayes also said Celtic were his boyhood club which is fair enough. Gormans comment tonight was utter stupidity and brought things to a whole new level and as I said in my previous post I hope the club take action as the club don't need this.

In the past on twitter he has shown his support for Celtic which is absolutely fine and you can expect from a young Irish lad but when you bring sectarianism into it he was treading on thin ice and really what he has done has given us bad publicity just days after reaching the league cup final. The retweet about our 'poor' crowds was another thing to add to it. It's quite a shame because I watched the boy play against Killie today in the U20 and I thought he done really well defensively but the way he conducts himself is no way professional and I hope the club takes action ASAP.
  17. Red and Blue stripes would be smart!
  18. I can't get my head round why Celtic Park would be chosen for the final. I can't see us taking more than 8K to the final but that's me being a bit optimistic. Aberdeen would take about 25.. 30K at a push but even then They would need to close parts of the stadium would that look good on TV? Hell no. Don't get me wrong, Celtic Park is a nice stadium and the pitch is immaculate but it's too big IMO. Maybe they want security of expansion if ticket demands got higher but I would rather a full Ibrox than an empty Parkhead. I will probably come round to the idea if we are nowhere that fecking pole at the corner of the stadium.
  19. Was at the game today and it was a really good performance from the U20 team. Final score was 3-0 to ICT, Adam Evans getting 2 goals today and Ryan Christie getting one also. For me today I thought Danny Williams was man of the match. He played centre mid today but put in a tremendous shift and based on that performance it was really unfortunate that he never played last Sunday. Carl Tremarco played a part in the game today and he done good today despite playing only a couple days after the semi final but he was good none the less. What we are showing is that we actually have great depth within our squad. The most pleasing aspect for me today was the counter attacks and I thought we done really well catching Killie out with that. Killie had Ismael Bouzid in their defence who was really good but our front line was much better. I watched Russell Latapy coaching the U20 team before the game and he was coaching the team with specifically counter attacks and it was a breath of fresh air to watch after seeing how well it worked out during the game - Russell Latapy going to be a great appointment for us. I have to mention Stephen Rennie aswell, I think he is only 15/16 but he came on around the last 10 minutes and got the assist for Adam Evans, looks like one for the future. The future is definitely bright!
  20. Rangers playing at Ibrox the day before shouldn't be a problem. Hampden regularly hosts both cup semi-finals on consecutive days. I'm expecting Ibrox to be announced as the confirmed venue. The pitch at Ibrox isn't what it used to be and it will probably have a bearing on things but as you said fully expect Ibrox.
  21. The U20s are playing at home vs Killie tomorrow at 2pm
  22. After taking a lot of points into consideration I'm pretty certain this game will be played at Ibrox. Celtic Park would be far too big for the game and with it being televised it wouldn't look good IMO. For atmosphere purposes I think Ibrox would be much better than Celtic Park as it is a bit smaller but big enough for this tie. I think the delay in announcement is that Rangers are playing hard ball for financial side of things and also the game that they have on the 15th of March.
  23. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/marley-watkins/profil/spieler_91315.html Cheers Sneckboy. Genuinely wasnt sure about that one. Glad he is tied down to a longer deal. Bet Butcher is kicking himself now that Marley's on a longer deal!
