Cheers for that pal, answers the Chris and Jamie mystery. Fully expecting a rotated squad tonight now.
-
If that's the case, I am expecting the likes of Greenhalgh, Pepper, Polworth, Tremarco playing tonight.
-
Sounds like they're St Mirren youth players. St Mirren aren't providing a live feed. Cheers anyways! I'm actually fairly confident it was icts strikers that they were shouting at. Must of got the names wrong because I don't think we have a Jamie nor Chris in our U20

Any idea on what the starting line up is mate?

We usually swap Goalkeepers away from home and Esson plays home games so I wouldn't read into it too much.

Just because we have released a cup final song doesn't have any affect on the atmosphere on Sunday. The atmosphere on Sunday is going to be phenomenal - I can gaurantee that.

Possibility because they were called in for extra training? As unfortunate as it is for the players not to attend the schools etc I am very glad if this is true that they have been called in for extra training.

I agree that it is a shame that some Aberdeen fans may miss out on a ticket however I feel like they made a good decision which could have a bad affect. I am glad that Aberdeen fans are not housed above our support because of the possible issues that may have arised but with this decision it's seeing Aberdeen fans attempting to buy tickets in our end which depending on how they conduct themselves could be fine or might not be. We've seen Celtic fans be in the north stand which they'd been ejected so with this being higher profile it will be more interesting to say the least.

For me I hope we do what Yogi said when he joined the club - "Business as usual" Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Foran Vincent Doran Ross Williams Mckay Siege Menatality etc.

I let my post match frustrations out yesterday on the match thread and having to sleep over it, I wholeheartedly agree with the OP. I think we should take the Ross County approach and say our season is starting this week. Wednesday night is a massive opportunity of firstly cementing our place in the top 6 and getting one over on the ex manager. Sunday is going to be a great day out for one and all, regardless of what the result is going to be we have to give massive credit to our players and management staff (past and present) for getting ICT there in the first place who fought tooth and nail vs Dundee United and Hearts to get there. A couple weeks back I was annoyed at the fact that we are playing 4 days before a cup final but after yesterday I am really glad because it's a chance to get yesterday out of the systems and gain that bit of confidence for Sunday.

Not trying to incinerate anything - but isn't this tally a bit suspicious? Last November alone he dished out around 20 yellow and 7 reds !! Perhaps he had toothache that month... There was another stat going about that 2 referees had given 2 red cards between them in 46 games. What I don't understand is why isn't the SPFL commenting on this, there's too much of an imbalance.

Just found this link on Willie Collum. Adding today's Red Cards that takes him to 14 Red cards! http://www.soccerbase.com/referees/referee.sd?referee_id=966

I was one of the fans that was crying out for Butcher to make it a 4-4-2 formation because of the players we had at our disposal and they weren't getting used. Things were made harder for Yogi admittedly with the departure of Toby Agdestein and Curtis Allen but we haven't replaced them which has left us in the lurch of strikers and this is part of the consequences. During the Butcher reign I thought Billy Mckay kept getting isolated up front on his own a fair bit and credit to Yogi for seeing that and amending it but for me Richie Foran up front with Billy Mckay isn't the answer and unfortunately Yogi got the tactics wrong today which is seeing him get stick. Richie Foran's best postition is holding the midfield, fighting for every ball and driving the team forward and we missed that today.

A gubbing against a poor Hibs side managed by Butcher would be the starter IMO. A must win game on Wednesday now.

Well yes, he has to share the blame as much as the players. Tactically we got this game wrong today and we got punished and made Dundee United looked much better than they were. As I said in my previous post Yogi pin pointed what was wrong with the Celtic game and in the manner of that game you can take it on the chin but this game you can't and it's inexcusable how poor we were defensively today. It makes you question what the lads do in training each week to concede 10 goals in 2 games. I really want Yogi to succeed in this job but as a leader he was poor as much as the lads today and unfortunately as a fan I am struggling to take this one on the chin.

Managed to get a couple photos today.

Today was well and truly awful - no excuses. Why have we changed from our favoured 4-2-3-1 to a 4-4-2 which have seen us conceed 10 goals in 2 games FFS. John Hughes as a player was a CB if he played the way Meekings did today he wouldn't have got anywhere near the Celtic team. We had a good chance of another big day out at Ibrox and today we got what we deserved - a hammering. There was no direction from the touchline today which was especially disappointing. I really like John Hughes as a person but his managerial career at ICT is starting to get a bit concerning. IF and a big IF we come away with no wins in the last 2 games this time next week then I would be sorry to do this but questions would need to be asked on the management team. If Terry Butcher was the manager today firstly I am sure our defending wouldn't be as shoddy and if the same result happend he would have got torn into the players. I haven't seen Yogi's post match interview with BBC but what has been posted online doesn't make good reading. Don't get me wrong, the players tried today and I thought Graeme Shinnie was the best out of a bad lot today but there was too many disappointing factors. The communication in the second goal for Dundee United between Dean Brill and Josh Meekings was pathetic and Cifti couldn't of had an easier goal if he tried. Up front today was poor and Billy Mckay's lack of goals is starting to get worrying. Ross County must be really poor if we can beat them in the style that we did and just makes me wonder why we can't keep the consistency? Yogi identified vs Celtic what when wrong, did they correct that mistakes - no. The referee had a really poor game and I just thought he couldn't get the red card out quick enough for the Greg Tansey tackle. Both Watkins and Tansey's red card was a yellow card at best. In saying that regardless of the referee's performance, 11 vs 11 would still got hammered. Credit to Dundee United fans today, absolute superb crowd for a half 12 on a Sunday!

I wholeheartedly agree that every fan of ICT and Aberdeen should be at this game and I agree there hasn't been any trouble between our fans. Pre match, most of the ICT fans go into Caledonian golf club where the majority of Dons fans are in and we are treated very good but where this game is concerned I just don't agree that neither sets of fans should be housed above the other. Why? Like you say there has never been any trouble between the fans. The stewards would have no problem seeing people throwing things down.Plenty of teams in England put away fans in the top tier, home fans in the bottom, in fact it used to happen at Ibrox. Would look great for sponsor's,TV etc if we have one of our National cup final with an upper deck of empty seats, not to think of the potential lost revenue to both clubs. Is the upper tier not an extra 5000 odd seats x £25 it's a lot of lost money for both clubs. As I said in my first post, it's a possibility that it may happen and of course it's not guaranteed. I appreciate that it would look good on the television and we would get revenue for filling the ground. I want Celtic Park sold out as much as the next guy but it's more the fact of their previous at Tynecastle that gives you a niggling doubt - it only takes one person. Should be safe enough just as long as Neil Lennon isn't sitting among our support. I would imagine that it would be safe for us to have them above us, but regardless of what team it is anything could happen. I will watch with interest with their ticket sales and what the police say as I said anything past 40K isn't allowed due to Police restrictions.

I voted Yes because well one and only reason - It would be funny. In all seriousness though there is many pros and cons of having Ross County in the Premiership. Pros: The friendly banter that is had on Twitter is something that I find really good about the Highland Derby and it's never taken to the extremes Less Travel involved in the away days and certainly makes a Friday night away day enjoyable with less travel (Unless they get stubborn and turn the lights off!) The cash gate is something that has been positive for both clubs and helps one another out especially with Rangers not in the Premiership It's really really fun making Derek Adam seethe to boiling point. Despite being Ross County, I really want to see both clubs promoting Highland Football at it's highest level Their pies are quite good. Cons: The way that they acted with tickets for the rescheduled Highland derby last week was ridiculous. Last season our crowds took a bit of a hit with them being in the premiership but the bubble's starting to burst which is good
