  1. I was gonna say something similar, but I see him more as a 1970's throwback complete with high waister side pocket flares, stack heeled shoes, a tank top with three stars, huge round collar shirt and a feather cut, probably with his caley scarf tied round his wrist hanging out of the train window at Nairn station
  2. Ach, I miss the likes of Buenos on here, but then I got to laugh my black and gold socks off when Caley and Thistle both went up in a puff of HIE smoke(as opposed to IHE smoke, which is something else entirely)
  3. bit harsh that his goal against rangers last christmas was worth the money alone
  4. Have a look at the ...impressive website for his multimillion dollar enterprise (not) "Yesterday Mr Savage said he believed supporters would expect the board to take both offers seriously and ascertain whether they were in the best interests of the club." er, no, not this one. Surely the board won't waste any time on this erse Is he related to the Ross County McGregors by any chance?
  5. Surprising ! Anybody see a role for him at TCS now ?
  6. Proctor is nothing if not versatile and seems to aquit himself well wherever he's asked to play.
  7. Can't remember if there was a panto last year, but I'll be disappointed if the ghosts of Granville, Toich & Willie Bell don't make their regular festive appearance.
  8. It's there in glorious technicolour on the back page of the P&J too Never mind Ike's mantlepiece, it's one for blowing up big style for the TCS foyer, look at the perfect line up of the players all facing the camera, and what looks like a wee touch of the highland sun setting away over the Firth. This one and the one of Blackie turning the two tims outside in are sublime.
  9. I know us heilanders can be hard to impress, but some of the attitudes at TCS really do beggar belief. In fact, you've cast a wee shadow over the victory by reminding me of it. What do the amateur psychologists and sociologists on here have to say about this highland characteristic. I know it can be grim up north, but some of the negativity I hear down there fair boils my wee wee.

Can't understand why a move to either of the Embra numpty teams should appeal to him so much....
  11. Great photo. One for Ike's mantlepiece.
  12. Parole on Wednesday though :001: and no more working for a week or three :001: :001: Caught a brief highlights on Setanta news but for some reason, they show them in a kind of postage stamp corner of the screen :008:, still looked good though :001: :001: :001:
  13. Haven't seen any of it yet :008: Went down the TV lounge and some group of f@nnies were watching some other game, :008: :008: even tried the smokers, but they were on the same feckin channel. :008: :008: :008: But who cares, it's the result that matters :003: :003: :003: :003:
  14. You can't beat beating the Weegies. Makes it hard to argue for them feckin off out of the SPL. I'd miss results like these.
  15. Holy Feckin Sheet 3-2 you beauty
  16. Robbo : Derry > Pars (with Parky) Kenny : Pars > Derry (again) fit a kerry on in Derry and Dunfy
  17. Pele's other differentiating factor is that he succeeded consistently at constantly improving levels with pretty much the same team. Truly remarkable. I'd loved to have seen him take us all the way. He probably does too. Another reason to dislike the Dandy Dons.

I'm with the consensus of Duncan and Cowie out in front with Denzil coming up fast on the outside. They all need to keep one eye out for the slow starter from Romania though.
  19. :012: i really couldn't care less (about the regulations that is, not IHE)
  20. very good, except that it'll cost about ?30 on the train to get to the nearest Sainsburys :017: :015:
  21. Terrible delays in the car park again on Sunday mainly caused by the Aberdeen team struggling to get their WAGs back on the bus
  22. you could also read it as a sign that we're not getting stuck in enough
  23. Had to laugh when he was flattened by one of the ICT players (Black ?) in the centre circle :015: Atmosphere from ICT end was pretty flat yesterday though, but fair play to the lone voice from the main stand who was determined to try and get things going.
  24. Normal service is resumed - Scotland beaten by the Georgian 6th form select !
  25. post something rude - they'll be here in a flash :015:
