  1. I'd imagine Nairn gave them a good seeing to. :015: Wouldn't have been Nairn County as such, because as far as I know, they were officially formed in 1914.
  2. In the light of todays performance and result, if you include the cup game, 6 straight victories does not seem beyond the realms of possibility. What odds would I get for that with the ?20 I saved at Station Park today?
  3. I've always maintained Brewster is a better player than a manager - the fact that he doesn't pick himself proves it :017: (if you see what I mean)
  4. aye yer hindsights a bitty better than yer second sight rite enuff mun, I can recommend a good optician for you to get it checked out - he sorted me out a treat....
  5. Well Station Park it was, and a 1-1 draw it finished. Probly a fair result although Clach had a soft penalty saved. Not the most inspiring game of football it has to be said, but made slightly more intersting by listening to ICT on the radio and a voiciferous bunch of about a dozen Clachers who had probably consumed more Buckfast between them before the game than the entire Caley Stadium put together. On the bright side, I must be ?20 to the good compared with the price of a visit to the Longman. As for Johndo's advice and prediction, I have a bit of advice for you which will help with you reading yer tea leaves in future - stick to drinkin feckin coffee.
  6. Can't decide whether to make the treck to the Longman, endure the carpark chaos and fork out twenty five sheets to see ICT v Jambos or stroll over the railway bridge pay a few squid (or better still jump the wall) and savour Nairn v Clach. What a dilemna !!! Whaddaya reckon

Shame Paul Hartley's gone - the song about the nature of his relationship with Vlad the Impaler made me laugh big time last season.... how did it go again ? :015:
  8. Correctamundo about Don Cowie, I haven't seen much of him, but he looks like he is a class act. What the feck was he doing at Dingwall all that time.
  9. :015: :015: I like it - I doubt I'll ever hear that phrase again, but I get your drift.
  10. Mr Bronson - long time no see on here - have you been away at spelling classes. Unfortunately I have to agree. I don't like critisising an ICT legend like Denzil, but he has never really proven himself as a consistent scorer in the SPL, he didn't manage at Tynecastle and he hasn't managed it back in Inverness. You'll notice he always comes good in the cup games against the lower league sides where the shuffle still seems to work its magic but the SPL defenders are wise to these things. He did however have a remarkable scoring run along with Dargo at one point the other year which he can hopefully recreate soon. Nothing would make me happier than seeing him dancing past a couple of defenders then curling the ball delicately into the far corner. He was a joy to behold when he was on top of the heap and hopefully he'll manage it again soon. In fact, any of the feckers scoring any would make me happier right now.
  11. You're right Eliza, it was the crop of youngbloods I was wondering about, not that photo from the last 118-118 advert audition, although they would be interesting too :015:
  12. The West stand singing section was a cracking idea, which, with hindsight, and set against the regulatory framework and litigous environment, was probably always doomed to failure. Probably not helped by a bit of belligerent over enthusiasm on the part of both the occupants and stewards.:009:
  13. Your talking a lot of bullocks and bollocks on this thread. :003: I'd stick with Ike for now. As for Tony Bullock, he'dve been the bollocks as cover rite enuff. I reckon he's one of the better keepers in Scotland, but the least said the better about Bullocks bollocks . Out of interest, when was it Calder last played for ICT ? I reckon he'd put a good hundred on the gate if he was to stand in. and.....talking of keepers and gates, d'ya reckon Malkowski would attract many of the snecks Poles if he was playing ?
  14. We've scored 2 in 6 games, this is the feckin problem. Brewster needs to play until we're out of the sh1te.

just poke them in the eye in the style of basil fawlty to manuel
  16. the team in the photy look very young - can anyone put names to the faces for me.
  17. and they're both well worse than Nairn County :003:
  18. That reminds me that I've still got a copy of that paper at home, I've always meant to get it framed - I'm sure it's also got a great photo of the whole team linking arms and running down the Parkhead pitch.
  19. Ya silly ould besterd - if Nairn win it we will play in Europe. As I said on another thread - roll on Nairn County v ICT at Station Park what were the words again ......."In your Ferry Slums"...:001:
  20. The beaten Scottish Cup finalists will no longer be able to sneak into Europe if the winners are already there........Door Closes
  21. Some footage from the final at Grant Street a couple of years back Wee County Marvellous note cameo appearances from J.Calder & S.Paterson
  22. any photos of the event ..... and what about the video clips - can they be made available on the site somewhere ???
  23. What corporate claptrap - thewhole world's infested with it - mission statements and all that p1sh. I imagine G&M Whyte have a byline of "Corporate Catering Solutions" or some such shecht - they sell tea and pies at football matches ferfecksake. You've got to laugh.
  24. Can't say I blame him if he was stuck in the usual tailback doing 40mph behind a caravan, a petrol tanker and a minibus pulling a trailer load of bloody canoes
  25. If you're moving to Tomintoul at the end of October my advice would be make sure and keep a shovel and blankets in the boot when heading down to a game :003: :cold02:
