Compliance Officer / Justice for Meekings
FIFA control international football they have no jurisdiction, then again, appealing to a body with no jurisdiction would be no more of a farce than the complaint being laid by the Compliance Officer in the first place... Somebody somewhere must oversee national associations to make sure hearings of this sort are consistent throughout the game. If not anything could happen with no right of appeal other than the civil courts For one thing is there not a rule about the restraint of trade. Will Meekings not have a case that his earnings are being affected by this potential ruling which he could argue is based on professional vindictiveness of a rival organisation. Americans recently had play off for the super bowl. Dallas had at least two decisions made for them. Which no one in the game could understand. They were blatantly wrong Detroit were plainly robbed. If you do not follow American football Dallas are known as America's team. Similar in stature to Celtic. Their opponents were Detroit who nobody cares about. This sort of thing happen in sport. As the Americans say " Nobody likes a sore loser " .http://uproxx.com/sports/2015/01/video-former-nfl-official-blasts-refs-from-detroit-dallas-game/

Compliance Officer / Justice for Meekings
If this is upheld ICT should complain To FIFA or whatever This is vindictive, but not that alone it will completely change the face of the game. Every single time a referee gets it wrong in future a complaint will be sent upstairs for review. It is a recipe for mayhem. We will be leaving grounds not knowing which players will be suspended should we or any other club have decisions or non decisions challenged. Some reviews may include I. e. " We feel that the throw in was a foul throw which led to the goal". "We feel that the goal keeper handled outside the box", The list of complaints may be endless . "Our player was in his own half when given offside", Once this starts where will it end. That is why FIFA must be consulted. I am sure somewhere in the Referees chart it states the Referee is in sole charge of the game and his decisions are final. PS We feel Maradonna scored with his hand

venue for Scottish Cup final
Apparently looking at the list of winners East Fife seem to be the only team to have won the cup outside the top flight. We don't want to be the club that changes that record.

venue for Scottish Cup final
The popularity of Scottish cup finals surprises me somewhat . Compared to the cup finals at Wembley they are very poor. Johnson's paint finals sometimes get better gates, or league one play offs. Looking at the recent gates, the match including Gretna got one of the biggest turn outs the link below shows what I mean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Scottish_Cup_finals

Talking to my builder , ( who is doing some jobs for me), a Manchester United fan, says he will be there. Very excited to be going to a cup final. Lots of locals will go who have never been to a ICT match before.

I think the SFA should only charge a fiver for tickets that would ensure a decent crowd of neutrals

Compliance Officer / Justice for Meekings
This is an audit on a Referee , If the authorities ever challenge a Referees competence. We might as well all give up. The referee like Ceaser's wife has always been beyond challenge. Football referees have one of the most difficult jobs in sport. They have no T V replays their response has to be immediate and based on experience. They have to be able to do their work without fear or favour.

Inverness CT -V- Celtic (Cup)
Was there any chance Meekings just stuck his arm out for balance. If it was deliberate his reactions must be the fastest in football any goalkeeper would be proud of The Ref has taken a lot of stick on this one, as a biased observer I feel in real time the Ref saw it and thought it was too close to call deliberate. Could someone who knows Josh find out if he meant it.?

Cricket
My Dad once told me that England's toughest and thoughtful cricket captain was the bodyline series winner Douglas Jardine My Dad told me he was Scottish, but the wonders of the Internet indicate he was born in India. However Dad was probably right in his family were from Scotland. If anyone is interested in Jardine and that famous tour of blood and thunder there is a fantastic book , title " And then came Larwood ", very rare a copy will cost you in access of £30 , but there are sportsman book club editions of lower price. Best read other than Charles book " Against all odds ", By the way Charles just sold two of your efforts about going up Stephen's bray . Hope Stephen was happy with that.

So dam sad ACL and MCL injuries can be fixed As Adrian Peterson record shows On December 24, 2011, Peterson was injured by DeJon Gomes and needed help off the field in a 33–26 victory over the Washington Redskins. He was placed onto injured reserve due to a torn ACL and MCL on December 26, 2011. For the first time in his career, Peterson failed to record a 1,000-yard season after playing only 12 games during the year. 2012: MVP Year[edit] Peterson started Week 1, although his status was listed as questionable. He rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns in his first game in eight months after his ACL and MCL tear. He passed Robert Smith to become the number one Vikings rusher of all time.[85] By Week 16, Peterson was leading the NFL in rushing with 1,898 yards and averaging 6.0 yards a carry. He also had 11 touchdowns, with a further 215 yards receiving. Entering Week 17, he needed 208 yards to break the NFL single-season record for the most rushing yards (2,105), set in 1984 by Eric Dickerson. That week, the Vikings played the Green Bay Packers needing a win to clinch a playoff berth. The game was tied at 34 in the fourth quarter when Peterson ran 26 yards, setting the Vikings up for a game-winning field goal with three seconds left. The Vikings chose the field goal, which sent them to the playoffs, but also left Peterson nine yards short of breaking the record. Peterson became the second player (Earl Campbell, 1980) to rush for 150 or more yards in seven games during an NFL season and had 1,019 yards after contact. He finished 2012 with 2,097 rushing yards, the second-most ever for a running back in a single season.

Hi I was wondering does he need a full knee reconstruction Knee reconstruction is used a lot in sport these days Peterson the Minnesota Vikings running back had a full knee reconstruction and returned to run the next season for over 2000 gain yards I am told. So does anyone know the true state of his knee?

I seem to get an impression that some of you feel that Scotland will not get any players in the GB team I have been having a look at some of the candidates for the GB team coming from Scotland or are qualified for Scotland Calum McGregor Celtic attacking Midfielder - time with Notts County Jordon Archer Tottenham been on loan at Millwall Goalkeeper Murray Wallace Huddersfield Goalkeeper Stevie May Sheffield Wednesday Striker Ryan Christie ICT Harry McGuire Hull City Andrew Robertson Hull City ( The best young Scottish player ) DL Graham Shinnie ICT Aberdeen , may be too old by the Olympics There will be several more I am sure , but any of the above would not let the team down I am certain

Do You Want County Relegated ?
I thought County were already down. Last seen playing in the Conference North Mind you there is more than one County, . Another is reported to be the oldest club in professional football.

I am not sure if you are asking about my motivation for raising this issue or are you challenging the English F A for wanting a team in the Olypics However to address my own motivation I thought I was quite clear, it was quite simply a desire to watch some football in Brazil that had some degree of home interest. I really personally don't care about the internal politics of the home nations. I have long realised that England included that our nations just can't compete , as was seen in the last world cup in Brazil, If the smaller home nations want to plod on never getting to the final stages of these competitions well that's their affair, but is it good for the fans? Surely the fans are not happy. But to get back to the Olympics and motivation. I have personally no axe to grind except I think it would be a bit of fun to watch the men's football in the Summer of 2016, and before that taking an interest in the qualifying games The women are preparing I am told are going to put a team in Brazil. I wish them luck Again I don't like FIFA it is corrupt, money and back handers talk. British football and top Euro football existed long before FIFA. I suggest the top nations should ask themselves why are we in such a disgusting organisation.?

Do You Want County Relegated ?
For once I was thinking of a bigger home crowd when I talked of finances. Also local rivalry can make for local interest in the game and increase support for other games. Not sure that the sponsorship pot is affected. There are a lot of firms in and around Inverness who are potential sponsors I feel Dingwall by other areas ( central belt teams ) standards is quite a long way from Inverness , I think the sponsorship argument is a red herring.
