I post about how bad we are because ***NEWSFLASH*** we are worse than bad, we are relegation material. This season we've been bloody fortunate that Dunfermline just happen to be worse than we are. I'm confident on showings like today, Hibs will finish above us. Don't be surprised to see us as bookies favourites for the drop next season. Being better than the opposing team for 64mins, isn't good enough. You can't polish a turd but you're certainly doing your best to roll it in glitter, eh? You're saying that the only difference was that they had better finishers. Well is that not fundamental to the game?! Who's fault is it that we don't have clinical finshers? Who's fault is it that we're stuck with a clueless but hard working First Division level forward who can't finish a fish supper?... of course been better than the opposition for 64 minutes isnt good enough i made that clear when i said after that we ''crumbled'' but the point im trying to make is we could have been away by that time 2 or 3 -0 because of our lack of ''goalscorer'' who imo is andy shinnie whos injured. and that cost us. whereas hibs had o'connor and grithiths both proven scorers. wheras we had tade who although he has 9 this season and we all love him frustrating as he is, is guarenteed to miss chances. finishings a fundamental of the game but proven finishers arnt cheap. and arnt easy to come by

or Tuffey - great back up to esson one of the best no 2's in the league Foran - gave us 2 very good seasons up front with rooney was key in our promotion push Cox - Arguably a match for Black, no complaints there Gillet - mr composure Golobart - shakey start but has proved to be a great young centre half Tansey - mr consistent week in week out still young can only improve Tade - a threat no matter what Dorans - had a sinsilating 6 month loan has another year to comback and perhaps replace hayes Meekings - 19 years old can only improve had a great start A.Shinnie - Great player who took a while to find his stride but injured unfortunately Davis - a man with so much ability proven by the fact hes playing premiership and was brilliant for us and out of the players hes brought through gavin morrisons the only player that hasnt played 30+ games

I'm sorry, but what? I can only assume that you're on anti-depressants or something but really there's no excuse for the rainbows you're vomiting in that post. The entire team (Hayes excepted) was crap from start to finish. OK, so Tansey got on the score sheet with a well taken penalty and he had a better than average game but I'm afraid a better than average game is just not good enough. Our team as a whole, is just not good enough. The fact that we have to solely rely on Hayes is nothing short of a joke. am i on anti depresants or are you on depressants because all you ever seem to post is about how bad we are. im as unhappy with the result as anyone but for 64 minutes we were better our whole team than hibs and we realy should have won not winning was a huge disapointment for everyone but im looking at it from the point of view that we were 100 times better than we were on wednesday and we certainly got a response from the player the main difference for me was that hibs had 2 clinical finishers in their side who took their chances when they came to them.

id say tuffey foran cox gillet golobart tansey tade dorans meekings A.shinnie tade and davis have all been good signings. its not just about signings hes brought shane, ross, shinnie and morrison all through from the youth set up.

i see where your coming from on grant. he is one of the nice guys and a top pro aswell. but i think butcher expected to have more experience resigning. there was duff which he didnt. money grabbing t*wat he is. i speculate that he had a gentlemens agreement with hogg. but hes hardly been around the chaging rooms this season to offer his help to the youngsters and the same with jones. we have 4-5 realy experienced heads tokely, esson, foran, jones, hogg are all realy experienced player we arnt short of experience because imo they are 5 definate starters when fit but jones and hogg have been out for almost all of the season and havnt been there for the youngsters which shifts alot of responsibility to the other 3 with one being a keeper he can only realy help the defenders. if jones and hogg wernt injured for most of the season perhaps they youngsters would have had more help and possibly done better. i dont know perhaps grant would have helped but im not going to dwell on it. personally i think its brilliant having tuffey. a cheap back up keeper could have left us with someone like chris smith (god forbid) but we have tuffey who imo is just as good as esson.

Luke, I admire your optimistic view but have to disagree with some. TB is responsible for the team he has assembled. He sourced them, he gave them contracts and he sets them out for every match. He is no different from any other manager in this regard as they all 'live or die' by their choices. I don't necessarily believe that dismissal (even if we could afford it thanks to the new contracts awarded) is the right call but I do expect him to be scrutinised in what he chooses to do. Blind faith is all very well but.... the way i see it is the defending has been very naive this year. and thats because our first choice right back is 19, and centre back is 20. and alot of the season shinnie has played left back who is also 20 the only real experieced head we have at the back is tokely. now i believe that because butcher had no real choice but to go with young players because older more experienced players in the 'prime' of their career cost money. if butcher had more financial backing then yes i would be frustrated at the defending and his choice not to sign and experienced defender but he doesnt so im happy that we look like we will stay up this year and im satisfied with how butcher has done this season with injuries, suspensions etc.

to be fair said winger is one of the best in the league and said freekick specialist did score.
-
tansey- his long range passing is top class played the diagonal ball to hayes superbly dont think 1 missed and his pen was quality hayes- welcome back what an outlet he is golobart- the usual the man is a hero and as a man of my word i gave the referee an excellent. i said the day we get a penalty will be the day i give it. couldnt realy fault the referee either good performance from baldy

all that butcher can account for is the tactics on a match day. not giving away soft penalties, not missing easy chances and not players getting sent off. has been one of the most inconsistent seasons weve ever had. and personally id put that down to injuries. butcher hasnt been able to pick the same team over and over like last season or the season before which ultimatly led to a great promotion push and our joint highest league finish. so i dont see how bringing in a new manager or management team would help matters i agree with pele if thing are worse next season then it should be cosidered but for me that would depend on injury situation and what butcher does with his resources then. remember last time butcher was under pressure and we stuck with him. when we were in mid table obscurity in the 1st division. he got us promoted. ive alway taken pride in the fact that we done that and im also proud that butcher is the longest serving manager in the spl. stick with him through the hard times and the good times will come

Sums up our season for me. For 64 minutes we were excellent. We got our penalty which tbh for me is a pain in the arse because it means I have to change my signature and it didn't come to anything but it was great to see we have such a competent penalty taker. For 64 minutes everyone from back to front( bar graeme shinnie who looked a stranger in the wide left position) we're superb but as soon as they got their first goal we crumbled. It was a horrible way to lose but that sums Up this season but overall it was a much better performance than the st Johnstone game and some of the football we played was sintilating and we really deserved to win

I've never seen anything to indicate that jonnys unhappy here infact everything I've heard is on the contrary I've never known terry not play him if unfit since imrie left so in going with he's still unfit Was it not a hamstring problem? If so I can't imagine terry rushing him it could end his season if he was rushed after a hamstring injury just look at the problems doran has had this season with his hamstring and was that not Gillets problem last season to? It's better to miss him for a week than to lose him for a month
-
I thought so to perhaps terry knows baldy has no future here so decided to go with matheson as he is only 17 and could well have a future here

Butcher said hell be ringing in the changes for this game so... Tuffey Meekings-Tokely--Golobart-Shinnie Jones ©-Morrison Gnakpa---------Ross----------Hayes Winall subs: matheison, piermayr, gillet, foran, tansey, tade, mckay If hayes isnt ready the tade in there. Hoping for some width this game so thats why i selected gnakpa as a natural wide player. Play him in his position from the start for once. Make jones captain give foran a rest.

is it to late to sign tevez?
-
in our spl years we have had 2 strikers with good strike ratios that havnt cost us an absolute bomb. rooney and dargo which to me suggests that a goalscoring striker isnt exactly easy to come by. but when you look at both those strikers dargo had bayne and rooney had foran. for me its not about finding 1 striker its about finding the right partnership up front which we seemed to have for a while with shinnie and tade before shinnie got injured. sandaza has sheridan daly has russell and jelavic had naismith
-
anyone remember that whos more important adam rooney or jonny hayes poll? id like to change my vote
-
we had 57% possession each team had 2 shots on target and it was decided by a penalty. does that not just sum up our season? its time to get player signed up for next season work to end this season on a high.

tokely mckay golobart

lets start from the back. tuffey- had nothing to do one save and one penalty. not stressed at all thanks too.... ....tokely and golobart who look to be a partnership and a half back there. shinnie and piermayr for me were decent at the back but going forward nothing worked the midfeild which wasnt strong enough got dominated foran and tansey couldnt get the ball jones done well but when your playing a midfeild 3 then all 3 of them have to work together i thought theyd continue in the same vein as saturday obviously i was wrong. they had no outlets. no width was give tade- lost confidence early on and nothing he done worked sutherland- not a winger. simple as that mckay put in one of his best performances of the season for me which we seem to be saying every week now. he put in a shift held up the ball, everything he done worked which couldnt be said for most the team. we had 2 shots on target to st johnstones 1 which wasnt till the 70+ minutes (not including the penalty obviously). now the penalty. WARNING: ranting :WARNING . if we dont get them no one should and we havnt fecking got 1 this season. any chance of some consistency referees! its been over a fecking year now. this is something that was a bit of a joke at first but now its gone beyond that its got to the point where its sickening. we had no shouts for a penalty tonight but what annoys me is the fact that the first shout for a penalty they had tonight they got when weve had at least 15 shouts in the last year and not got one. it doesnt take a genious to watch a game and tell when theres a foul in the box or not especially when you a fecking asistent in your ear for 90 minutes ''helping'' you and i use the term helping lightly as it seems to me that assistant refs have absolutely no balls about them in this country. its a joke rant over. tonight i felt we looked like a team with nothing to play for and im certain that butcher will knock it out of them (possibly literally) and itll get better from tonight to the end of the season.
